Loved (Sonia kaspbraks pov) one week ago..
Sonia grabbed her car keys, rushing out of her house and getting into her car in record speed. She didn't even change out of her flowery night gown. She slammed her foot on the gas pedal, moving faster than she had ever moved in her whole life. As she reached the train station, she dug through her purse for a granola bar, something she always carried with her, just in case. She gulped it down, staring at the tracks, waiting impatiently for eddies train to pull into the station. A half an hour passed., and finally, the train stopped with a loud screeeeeeeeeeeech.
Six kids and a few other people rushed off of the train. She hopped out of her car, waddling toward her precious Eddie.
"Eddie bear!" She squawked.
He looked up at her, with solemn eyes, and smiled half heartedly, waving at his friends.
He trudged over to her, with his bookbag asking over his shoulder, and his bike at his side.
"Hey ma!" He said, with a slightly larger, fake, smile.
"Eddie!" She engulfed him in a rub crushing hug, before he hopped in her car.
As she drove, considrably slower this time, as she cheerily talked to Eddie.
"Oh, I missed my Eddie bear sO much!"
"I missed you too ma."
"So.. you've taken your pills every day Eddie?"
"Of course ma!"
"Good. If I find out you skipped out on your medication Eddie, you'll be in trouble you know."
"I know mommy."
They drove the rest of the short drive in uncomfortable silence.
~ time change~
Sonia smothered Eddie with attention through the night. When the phone in his room rang, she followed slowly after him, as she watched him excitedly answer the phone.
"Chee'!" He shouted into the phone, a blush rising on his cheeks.
Oh... him.
Eddie giggled into the phone, twirling the cord between his finger and his thumb.
She squinted at him.
"Sweetcheeks? That's new... no it's okay." He giggled again.
"Yeah it's okay so far..... it's weird being home though... I'll miss the big spoon.."
Eddie paused then laughed.
"Beep beep!"
The big spoon? What the hell was that supposed to mean?
"Wait..." Eddie met eyes with Sonia, who was squinting suspiciously at him.
"I uh have to go... yeah, I'll call you back later.... mmhmmm..." Eddie blushed really hard again.
"L-love you too." He said quietly into the phone, before hanging it back onto the wall.
"Eddie?!" Sonia screeched.
"Mom... I uh can explain."
"How?! The 'big spoon'? 'S-sweetcheeks?! You told him you loved him Eddie."
"U-yeah but-"
"You're starting to sound like a fag Eddie."
"So maybe I am!" Eddie yelled, tears brimming in his eyes.
"You're not Eddie! That boy... you said you loved him.. but you don't! You... dont. You love me, that's good enough. You don't need... hes put these.. things into your head. You're sick.. I can fix you Eddie... but for now.." she ripped the phone out of the wall, throwing it under her arm.
"You're going to stay here.... you can miss school for the first few days... and.. you're not a fag Eddie, you're not." Eddie by then was sobbing, curled in a ball on the ground. And she locked eddies window, red faced with rage, and she slid the big bookshelf in the hallway in front of his door. Then she sat down on her couch, with a phone book and her bright green phone. She had to make a few calls.
