Eddie woke up with a large pain in his side, in a white bed in the hospital. He squeezed his eyes shut, and tears forming in his eyes. He had no idea what had happened. But he hated this place. The hospital. 

There was the tiny noise, the flick of a magazine page being turned, and he strained his neck to see past the curtain, behind which held, he figured, his roommate. 

He groaned when he couldn't see past it, letting his head fall back onto his pillow. 

"-Eds?!" Yelled a farmiliar voice, richies. But what the hell was richie doing beside him in s hospital in Derry?!

"Richie?! What the fuck?" 

"Yep!" He said, his voice a bit weak. He reaches over, and pulled back the curtain that separated them. 

"I... I don't understand. Why are you here"?

"Eddie.... you mother went too far with your dumb ass pills.. you overdosed." 

Edie's heart dropped. His eyes brimmed with tears.

"Wh-what?"

"Eds, I'm sorry. I don't really know what's going to happen... but... i won't let anything bad happen to you." 

"I don't understand.. what're you doing here?!" 

"You think I wouldn't come see you?" He asked, his voice quivering. 

"No I.. what're you doing here! In the hospital! You- what did you do?!" He screeched. 

Richie blushed a bit. 

"Well you went into kidney failure.... " 

"You did not-" 

"I did actually." 

"Richie!!"

"It's okay... not how I planned on getting inside of you for the first time, but hey! I got to save your life!" 

Richie cracked a smile. 

"You're so dumb... but.. I cannot believe you did that... you... fuck-" Eddie whispered.

"Ehh it's alright spaghetti head."

Richie stained himself, reaching across the room for eddies hand. He grabbed onto it. And they fell asleep, their hands latched together.
