In a laboratory, two Pokémon wore mech suits, struggling with an earthquake that a Berserker Pokémon let out. One of the mech suited men was drilling a hole out and another one who was going to help.

?????: Pyro! We need to scram!

A piece of debris fell on Pyro's leg.

Pyro: Aw shit! My leg got stuck! Arceus damn it! Spee-  Ach! Go on without me!

Spee?: Not in a million deaths! You're my best friend and teammate!

Spee? stopped drilling and fired a shadow ball to break it, which it does. The latter helped the former get up and goes back to drilling. Pyro went to the entrance of the lab, to hold the door closed.

Pyro: Thanks Speed, I-

The wall Speed was drilling collapsed, making Pyro rush to Speeds side. But then a  berserked Koffing entered the building, and used explosion. Both of the Adventurers went flying. They sent their location to the contractor through their mechs and braced for impact.

A couple hours later, Speed woke up out of his mech, in a cave next to Pyro. The Jolteons natural instinct to get up was interrupted by a soft voice.

????: I wouldn't do that if I were you, those injuries you have were pretty serious.

The figure was revealed to be an Eevee. At the same time Pyro woke up.

Pyro: Who's the babe Speed?

Speed looked at him with such disappointment a rock came flying at him. Wait, no that was another figure that threw the rock, which was another Eevee, but with a harsher voice.

??????: What did you just call my sister?!

Pyro: I-it wasn't me! It was him!

Pyro pointed at Speed.

Speed: What and why the fu-

The latter Eevee believed Pyro and was fuming. The softer spoken Eevee saw this had to do something.

????: The F-Flareons lying, the Jolteon didn't say anything! B-but, don't hurt either of them sis.

The wrathful one looked at her sister and then relaxed her body.

??????: ... Okay, fine Leaf, I won't... yet.

Leaf smiled and approached Speed slowly. Speed's healing factor was in full effect trying to mend his body as fast as it could. She had some berries in her hand for when he woke up. Although Speed didn't need them he appreciated it and took them.

Pyro: Hey Speed, can you pass that Oran berry?

Pyro also had a healing factor, though a bit weaker than Speeds. Speed understood and threw the oran berry at the Fire type. Pyro barely caught it. Speed ate the other berries and stood up, since his body finished healing. ?????? was surprised that his body had enough energy to even throw the berry but now this? She suspected that they were hiding something.

??????: How did you get up Jolteon?!

Speed: By doing it, I'm stronger than I look. Also my name is Speed, what's yours?

??????: ... None of your business Pansy!

Leaf: Si-is! Don't treat our guests like that!

Leaf sighed while Speed helped Pyro up.

Leaf: Her name is Lapis Lazuli, and she's actually very nice... Once you get to know her. I-if you want yo-ou could stay for awhile.

Speed consulted Pyro before answering.

Speed: Sure.
