Some of the most beautiful, creative and talented people in our culture have been bullied, harassed, or exploited by their peers. 

Seeking to escape their pain and despair, they chose a path of self destruction while their smiling faces were tragically immortalized as romantic icons.

Contrarily, some of the most ordinary people have become some of the most influential, successful and contented people in the world.  It's a shame these people often pass unnoticed into a dark night before someone asks them this question.

"What's the factor that changed the course of your life?"

I think they would answer, "It's my heart. The moment I learned to love myself."

Contented, successful people love those around them, but they also practice healthy self love.  As human beings, we're all special and beautiful. So are animals and nature. Every living thing pulses with its own beautiful living light, moving within the pattern of life.

The contented ones who took the time to discover who they were, and then embraced themselves would advise,  "You are the most interesting person you will ever meet, once you get to know your REAL self."

So if you're bullied or abused. Don't look in the mirror for imperfections. You're already beautiful.  Instead, look into your soul. Ask yourself this pertinent question.

Do the people around me, love, support and respect me?

If the answer is no, don't despair or panic.

Start an inner dialogue. A loving supportive one. Let that be the catalyst you need to tap into your creative, nurturing power to believe in yourself. Inner beauty imbues you with an outward glow that affects the world around you.

Once you accept yourself, hate coming at you is transmuted into love. It will expand your spirit making it stronger.

It seems like magic, but it's all perception.

So ask yourself. What do you want? What are your dreams?  Get excited, because no one can stop you once you identify them.  Allow yourself to put your happiness first. This is your story. Other people's lives are not as interesting as yours. They have their own stories. When they try to pull you into their drama, smile like the talented director you are and say this to them.

"Sorry, you're not in my story."

Search for the special people who will share your story and cast well! Like a shifting mobile hanging over your bed, supportive people will move in and out of your sphere to help you dream and build a beautiful life:)
