Days linger,

Birds sing,

In my heads,

The voice tap, tap, tap,

The taps more like screaming,

Telling me it won't be bad,

Just give it a try,

The innocent act,

What was once me,

Lingers in the shadow,

It waits for me to come back,

It wants me to be who I was,

It's miserable still looking at me,

Staring me up and down,

Doesn't know who I am,

I use to be it,

But my Innocence got me nowhere,

Nowhere,

Nowhere but somewhere,

Miserable nights it gave me,

Staring up at the moons light,

The only friend the man in the moon,

Now I sit around smiling,

I'll walk back into the sun,

It will stay there,

Where I left it,

Just like where they all left me.
