Magnus and Alec was preparing the breakfast together before he heard the twins rumbling fighting in the room. Then they saw them running down the stairs toward the kitchen fighting for the chair. "Hey, hey! Behave." Alec shouted making them both startled cause he almost dropped the plate. Magnus saw how the twins was shocked by Alec's voice and usually he was the one with harsh toned not Alec. "Hey its okay guys, sit properly would you. Don't let papa angry." They both nodded and sat quietly. Alec looked at them and he sighed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that. Would you forgive me?" Alec looked at the twins but they looked at each other before looked at Alec. "No!" They said both at the same time holding their small hand crossing to their chest simultaneously. Magnus chuckled seeing them so bossy. Alec looked at Magnus and glanced him a death glare. "They got this from you." Magnus raised his eyebrow and smiled. "Excuse me? I think I saw this before when that someone couldn't have an ice cream for breakfast." Alec chuckled and smirked at him. He recognized it cause he was that certain someone. "Whatever." He turned back and head to the fridge letting the twins play with their sporks. "Who wants pancake?" Magnus announced and the twins raised both of their hands signing they want it. Alec was getting the blueberry out from the fridge and he was squatting getting it out cause it was at the bottom shelf. When he stood up he felt dizzy and he want to fall but he gripped the fridge door. He placed the box on the table top next to it and he held few breathes. Magnus was waiting for Alec to bring out the blueberry when he saw Alec leaned against the table top and he ran towards him. "Alexander you okay? What's wrong babe?" He saw how pale Alec got and he was quiet. He still has his eyes closed cause if he opened them he might felt the room spin and he will fall. He felt how his throat is tight and his stomach clenched. He want to throw up and he held it in. Magnus rubbed Alec's back softly and he glanced at the twins who looked at Alec directly. They both have a fear look in their eyes. Then Max got off from his chair and went to Alec's side. "Papa, I'm sorry, I forgive you." Max was holding Alec's pants and tugging it so he can look at him. He might be 4 years old but he is so smart. He felt guilty cause he said he didn't forgive Alec and now he saw Alec got sick he was worried. Alec patted his head and smiled looking down at him. "I'm okay, thank you Max." Alec kneeled so he can be same level with Max and next thing he know Max was hugging him. "Papa, don't die." Alec pulled back from their hug and looked at Max's eyes. It filled with tears and he wiped it off. "Max I'm not going anywhere, I'm fine. I promise. Just a little headache okay." Max nodded and he kissed Alec's head. "Better?" He asked and Alec smiled nodding to his questions. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder, it was Sophia. "Papa, I'm sorry too." She held Alec's neck and hugged him. "Hey I'm sorry okay. I didn't mean to scare you both." They both hugged Alec and Alec kissed them both in his arms. Magnus smiled looking at his family. They raised them both well. They know when to say sorry or please and doesn't matter how much Alec wants to denies it but they both got Alec grumpy side. Except Max. He always the calm one and Sophie was the thunder in the family. Alec and Sophie will always fight each other even for clothes. But Max has a heart of an angel, he always calm his sister and his papa down. Sometimes Magnus felt like it was Max Lightwood, Alec's small dead brother instead of their own son. They have the resemblance but Max was more cute and he has his daddy's eyes. 

"okay guys, eat your breakfast before its get cold." They both went back to their chair and Magnus helped Alec up and let him sit on the chair. He poured some orange juice in a glass and gave to Alec. He poured milk on each cup and gave to the twins. Pink for Sophie and blue for Max. He cut up the pancake to small pieced so they could eat them. They always wanted to cut their own pancake but Magnus hated they making a mess and end up destroying the pancake without even eating them. He poured the blueberry on both plates and they ate them like bears using their bare hands. "Daddy, Max has more bu-bewy" Sophie was protesting again, every time they had pancake for breakfast, she will do this but every time Magnus will answer the same. "No Soph, each of you got the same amount. Each of you has 10. Can you count for daddy?" Even though they are only four but Magnus and Alec already start the lesson so they could have a better start when they at pre school. They were too busy counting each others blueberry when Magnus went to Alec. Alec has his hand on his head rubbing his forehead. "What do you want for breakfast my dear?" He was rubbing Alec's arm and Alec looked up shaking his head no. he doesn't feel like eating. "I'm okay thanks." Magnus looked at Alec and he couldn't help but worry. He know Alec's health has been better for these years and he still remembers how sick Alec got before. But he couldn't help but to worry. Magnus nodded and he doesn't want to piss Alec's off. He hates how Magnus hovers like a cop.

Its been going on for few days and Alec got even worst. He refused to eat and he was tired all the time. Whenever he went home from work Alec would either be asleep on the bed or the couch. He insisted on Alec to go and check but Alec as always being stubborn and they end up arguing making the twins cry. Lately Alec being difficult to talk too and drives Magnus crazy. It was one morning when Magnus woke up early and Alec still asleep next to him. He got up and prepared for breakfast when he saw the twins came in. Rubbing their eyes and Sophie was holding the pink teddy bear he bought for her when Alec was at hospitals. She will carried it around to let her sleep when she felt Alec is being sick. "Morning guys. Would you like cereal for your breakfast or you want something else?" Magnus was cooking eggs for him and Alec when the twins walked in. "daddy can we have PB and jam." Max said and Magnus nodded smiled at him. He poured milk on their cup letting them drank it first while he prepares their sandwiches. Peanut butter and jam was one of Max favorite and Sophie will just follow whatever Max wants. He will cut the crust and made it into small triangle. "Daddy is papa okay?" Sophie asked and made Magnus looked at her. "Yeah baby girl, why did you asked that?" Sophia looked at his dad with worried eyes and she kept on looking by the stairs waiting for Alec to walk down and have breakfast with them. "Why papa not up yet?" Magnus looked at her and she was right, Alec never woke up so late. "Why don't you woke papa up? Tell him to come down for breakfast." She smiled and jumped from their chair followed by Max. They both hold hands and climbed back upstairs. Magnus was done frying the eggs and turned off the stove when he heard a screamed. "Daddy!" He ran upstairs and went to their bedroom and saw the twins by the bathroom door with Alec by the toilet. "Alexander!" He was vomiting his guts out with his back facing the twins. Magnus ran passed the twins and rubbed Alec's back. "Get them out. Don't let them see me like this." Alec was pushing Magnus to get the twins out from their bathroom. He glanced at the twins and saw they both crying with Sophia holding the teddy bear to her mouth and cry. "Max get your sister and wait for me downstairs okay." Max didn't move and he looked at Magnus with angry look. "No! I want to stay with papa!" He insisted to stay making Alec angry. "Max! Listen to daddy! I'll be fine. Its just a tummy ache okay." Alec didn't dare to look at the twins and again he vomited his guts, he gagged and coughed out with a thread of vomit hanging by his mouth. Magnus was rubbing his back looking at him worriedly. "You said that before but you still sick! You lied!" Max was crying even louder and Magnus saw he was so scared. Magnus held them both and cupped Max cheek. "Hey I wont let anything happened to papa, I promised but pleased Max I need you to wait for us downstairs okay?" Max nodded before he took Sophie's arm and they went out from the bedroom. He lied when he said he waited downstairs cause both of them waited outside of Magnus and Alec's room sitting on the floor. They wish they would help him but they only a child. So Max only knows one thing to do. To comfort his sister.

Alec was still kneeling by the toilet and Magnus was rubbing his back. He continued to vomit after the twins left. After he was done he flushed the toilet and he brushed his teeth. Magnus grabbed him a towel to wiped his mouth. Then he stares at him while Alec gripping the sink top with his head looking down. He closed his eyes cause he felt dizzy and he take some water on his palm and washed his face to cool it off. "I will called Cat to come and see you." Magnus was about to leave the toilet when Alec pulled his shirt stopping him."No Mags, its fine. No need to call her." Magnus turned and see Alec was pale as dead and got furious. "How can you say you're okay. You're sick Alexander. Don't deny that." Alec rolled his eyeball at him, "would you just dropped that already?" Magnus was infuriated hearing Alec talking like he didn't care about himself. "Why the fuck would you do that? Have we been through enough all this years? What if the cancer came back? It will be too late to notice now Alexander! Don't fight me in this." Alec grabbed Magnus again before he left the toilet but he felt dizzy so he almost fell but caught by Magnus. He carried him to the bedroom and lay Alec's weak body on it. Alec was breathing heavily and clenching his stomach. "Don't fight me into this. Please let me call Cat to check on you." Magnus was about to leave again but Alec hold his hand back. He sat back down on the bed and caressed Alec's wet hair from his forehead. Alec grabbed his hand and placed it down on his tummy. Magnus looked at him with wide eyes and he placed his palm underneath Alec's shirt. "I want to tell you but I also not so sure. I haven't took the test yet." He sat up looking at Magnus but he got scared cause he didn't say anything. "Magnus? Say something would you. Don't you want this baby?" Magnus looked at Alec and he stares at his hazel eyes. How can Alec said those words to him, but then he realized he didn't responded to Alec of course he was worried. "Are you sure?" Magnus asked. Alec looked at him but he felt like it was a mistake telling Magnus that. He wanted to get off the bed but Magnus pulled him back and pinned him down. "Where do you think you're going?" Magnus asked. Alec couldn't stopped his tears from flowing. "Let me go!" Alec said with his voice broke. "What's wrong? What did I say?" Magnus was confused now and he doesn't understand why Alec being so weird. "You don't have to pretend you want to be with me anymore. I know you don't want this baby and you've disgusted of me aren't you! I cant-" Alec was sobbing and he was about to continued his rambling when Magnus smashed their lips together cupping Alec's head in between his hand. His kiss wasn't soft or light as usual but it was hard and deepen with one long breath. He let go of Alec's head rough and he looked at Alec's swollen lips. He smirked at him, "Stop thinking like that! Stop thinking that I would be disgusted by you. Stop thinking that I don't want to have another baby with you. There is nothing more I want other than making my family happy. You Mr Alexander Lightwood-Bane, never ceased to surprise me since the first day I met you. I love you so so much. Remember that always." Magnus was holding Alec's face and he saw how Alec's tear drops on his finger. Alec pulled him into a hug and he held Magnus tight on his chest. Magnus kissed his side of his temple and hugged him back. "Silly boy! Stop overthinking things would you!" Magnus patted Alec's head and rubbed his hair down. Alec stopped cry for a while and Magnus let go from the hug. He placed Alec back on the bed and he stroked Alec's cheek. "Now, let me just called Cat and we can do the test. The sooner the better. Okay?" Alec nodded weakly and smiled at his husband. Magnus stood up and went out from the room grabbing his phone with him. He doesn't want to call in front of Alec cause he has some concerns that he need to clarify with Cat but soon as he went out, he was amazed by how his kids were acting. He saw Max was sitting on the floor leaning against the wall with Sophia on his lap. Sophie fall asleep on his lap holding her teddy bear closed to her chest. Max was rubbing her hair calming her down. Magnus kneeled down and stroke Max cheek and soon he felt Magnus' touched he flinched. He was not supposed to be there, he promised to be downstairs but soon as he looked at his daddy he got scared. "Daddy. I'm sorry, I don't want to leave papa." Max was a good boy and there is nothing in the world can make Magnus angry for his behavior. "Its okay sweet pea, papa is gonna be okay. I promise. Lets get you something to eat okay?" Sophia heard his daddy's voice and she sat up rubbing her eyes. "Daddy? Is papa okay? I'm sorry for making papa sick." Sophia and Alec always had their arguments but in times she showed some affection and she actually scared she would hurt Alec's feeling. "No baby, papa is okay. I will tell you guys later okay. Now lets go and eat breakfast.
