The next day in the morning ,Vihaan has come to Mathur house to pick Saanjh up as they were supposed to go for their wedding shopping.

When he rang the door bell,Suman opened the door and welcomed him in with a dry face.Then he met Tarun inside the house and he also looked sad to him.

Seeing their sad and dry faces ,Vihaan felt that something was off.But he didn't feel it right to ask them directly.

"Tarun,Where is your sister?Go and call her out.I've been calling since the morning but she isn't answering."Vihaan told him.

"She isn't at home."Tarun replied in a low voice.

"Oh,I see!"He nodded in understanding"When will she return then?"

"She isn't gonna come back."Suman answered.Her eyes got moist.

Vihaan stared at her in confusion.

"What does that mean?"He demanded.

"Vihaan...... A-Actual-ly....She is..."Suman hesitated and seeing her hesitation and nervousness,Vihaan became suspicious.

He got up from the sofa and came to her.

"What's the matter?Where is Saanjh?"His voice was frightened now.

"Wait a minute."Suman told him and went inside her bedroom.

After a while she came back with a letter in her hand and handed it to Vihaan along with the ring that he made Saanjh wear on the engagement day.

Seeing the ring,Vihaan stared at them with a questioning look in his eyes.

"Read this letter and you'll get your answers."Suman told him and with utter confusion,Vihaan unfolded the letter and began reading .

"Vihaan,When you're reading this letter I already left the city.I am sorry.Maybe you think I'm too cold hearted to leave without saying goodbye.But to let you stay in my life and put you in danger is even more cruel.

Thank you so much,Vihaan.Thank you so much for being my bestfriend .With you around life became so easy and wonderful.You came into my life as a sunshine.But unfortunately the darkness of my life slowly engulfing your brightness.And I can't let it happen.That's why,I left.Please don't come to look for me.

And I'm giving you back the ring as I feel I don't deserve it.It doesn't belong to me.Give this ring to someone who really deserve your love.Someone who will love you unconditionally .I'm sure one day you'll find that person.

After reading the letter,for a minute Vihaan stayed frozen on his spot, stunned.

That's why she was behaving strange yesterday!

This sudden realisation hit him hard and knocked his breath away.

"Where is she now?"He demanded,recovering from his shock.

Suman and Tarun denied to tell him first as that's what Saanjh wanted them to do.But in front of his non-stop begging , pleading and tears, they eventually gave up and disclosed her whereabouts.

"She is going to Delhi .And She's on her way to the airport right now."Suman told him.

"Thank you, Aunty."Vihaan gave her a tight hug and then without wasting any further moment he broke into a run to stop her.

All the way to the airport,he kept cursing himself for not believing on his instinct which was screaming since last night that something was wrong with her .

Avinash and Saanjh were on their way to the airport.Avinash was driving the car and Saanjh was sitting next to him,on the passenger seat.

Leaning her back against the seat and closing her eyes she was recalling those happy days which she spent with Vihaan from the past 4 months. His bright dimple smiles whenever he saw her,his care and concern for her,his little antics which made her laugh everytime,their engagement....everything was flashing in front of her eyes.

All those moments overwhelmed her and a single tear coursed down her cheek.

Avinash's own eyes grew misty seeing her tears .He was feeling himself helpless for not able to do something for his daughter.

His phone suddenly pinged with a notification at that moment.He grabbed his phone and saw a message from his wife,Suman.

'Vihaan got to know everything.He is coming to stop her.Buy him some time.'

Avinash thought for a while and then stepped his foot on the brake .As a result,the car came to a halt and Saanjh snapped out of her trance .

"What's wrong, Dad?"She asked him.

"I don't know,dear.The car suddenly broke."Avinash replied.

Saanjh got tensed, not knowing that it is just an excuse.There was nothing wrong with the car.

"You stay inside.I'll go out and check if the engine heated up or something ."He told her and got out of the car.

He lifted the bonnet and kept pretending to check the engine .That's the best idea he could came up with at that time to bought Vihaan some time.

"Papa,How long will it take?We're getting late."Saanjh said after 10 minutes, getting impatient.

"I'm trying,dear."Avinash replied .

Saanjh huffed and waited for another 10 minutes but no good news came .

She realised if they keep wasting time here,she was gonna miss her flight which she couldn't afford.So ,she got out of the car and came to Avinash.

"Dad,Let it be.It's been taking so long.Let's just take a taxi from here.Otherwise,we'll be too late."She told him.

As there was no sign of Vihaan yet,he lost the hope and agreed with her.

Soon enough, they got a taxi and hopped in.

But before the taxi could move from it's place,A white car came in front and blocked it's way.

"Vihaan?"Saanjh mouthed .A look of shock crossed her face as she saw him in that car.However ,Avinash was relieved .

Getting out of the car,Vihaan came near the taxi and opened the door of her side.

"Come out."Vihaan told her but she didn't move.She remained seated, putting on a straight face.

"Come out,Saanjh!"He commanded this time.

Avinash squeezed her hand and advised her to go out and listen to him once.

Letting out a deep sigh,she came out of the taxi and stood in front of him.

Avinash remained seated in the taxi.He was just hoping Vihaan would get her convinced to stay here.

A moment of silence passed with both of them looking at each other.

"Where are you going?"Vihaan finally spoke in a low intense voice.

Saanjh covered up her overwhelmed emotions within her poker face and answered "I'm leaving from here ."

"Without informing me?"He demanded.

"Would you let me go If I told you?"

"No!"He answered honestly.

"See,You got your answer."She said flatly.

"Saanjh,You're not going anywhere.You're coming home with me,Got it?"He said sternly and grabbed her wrist in order to take her to his car.

"Please Vihaan."She freed her hand from his hold."Please don't try to stop me.I have to go."

"But why?"He demanded.

"Because If I don't go ,that spirit won't let you live."She shouted

"Spirit?"He frowned at her in confusion.

"I know you don't believe in such thing.But that's the truth,Vihaan.There's an evil spirit around us.I don't know who he is or what does he want .All I know is he doesn't want to see us together.He is responsible for all these accidents.He doesn't want us to reunite.That's why he keep hurting you whenever we come closer."She explained but he didn't buy a single thing.

"You know what?Whatever you're saying doesn't make sense to me at all.And I can't let you go for a thing which is just your imagination, something that doesn't even exist."

"That's not my imagination ,Vihaan.I don't know how to make you or others believe in me.But my dread is true.That spirit really exist ."She said, frustrated .

"Okay,fine.I'm believing that there is an evil spirit after us and he doesn't want us together.But running away isn't the solution of it.We can fight against him.We can defeat him together."He told her in a calm voice.

Saanjh chuckled bitterly.

"Defeat him?How?"She questioned but he couldn't answer as he has no clue.

"Vihaan,Our problem is a ghost, not a human being.It's an evil spirit we can't touch,kill or see.How will we fight with this kind of problem?We can't.

We don't know anything about that spirit.We don't know who he is , why the hell is he after us and What does he want? We can't fight against him."She sounded helpless.

Vihaan came closer to her and took her face in his hand"I don't know how will we do that.I just know If we're together,we can overcome every problem."

"No,We can't defeat that spirit. And he'll keep hurting you as long as you're with me."

"I don't care,Saanjh.I'm ready to risk my entire life to spend just a moment with you.But I can't stay away from you."He said, looking into her teary eyes.

"But I'll not be able to forgive myself If you're harmed because of me."She snapped, pushing him away.

"Try to understand ,Vihaan.I don't want to be the cause of your pain.I have to go away for your own good.This would be right for you...for both of us."She said firmly and turned to walk away.But he caught her wrist and made her stopped .

He was making difficult for her to go .She took a deep breath and  slowly turned around at him.

"Let me go, Vihaan."She requested in a pleading voice.

He shook his head"No,I won't."

She could see in his face that he had no intention of letting her leave.But she had no choice.She had to leave to keep him safe.

She concluded her words before looking at his eyes directly."Vihaan,If you truly love me then let me go."She said and that's when he released her hand.

She gave him a feeble smile.

"Please don't go."He requested for the last time.A lingering hope was showing in his eyes but quickly died down after hearing her reply.

"Take care of yourself."With those last words ,She spun around and got into the taxi.

"Driver, Let's go."She commanded,tears welling up in her eyes.

The driver nodded and started the engine.As the taxi started to move ,She looked into wing mirror  and her heart wrenched in pain seeing the heart broken and lonely  Vihaan ,standing in the middle of the road.

"I am sorry,Vihaan.I know I'm hurting you a lot.But I can't put you in danger by letting you stay near me."She murmured .Her face got wet with fresh streams of tears .
