Oswaldo’s P.O.V

My girl is doing her finals today. I have no doubt that she’s gonna ace that test. My baby is just brilliant. In case you guys are wondering what happen after my girl planted a virus in the school computer, well let me enlighten you. The entire school system shut down, I mean dead. No one could get into it, they tried everything but still they couldn’t get it to work. The teachers were baffled as to how the virus came to be on the system in the first place.

They had to close the school until the problem could be fix. But it wasn’t until Melody snuck back into the school and wiped the system clean of the virus that they opened the school back up. I really gotta find out how she did it in the first place.

I’m parked outside the school waiting for her to come out. I don’t know what she’s doing in there so long. Her school has been out for a while now. I drummed my fingers on the steering wheel and tapped my foot impatiently. I’ve been waiting for over an hour in the car, what could be taking her so long?

It was getting hot in the car and I was tired of sitting for so long, so I exited the car to get some fresh air and to stretch my legs. I was leaned against the car waiting for her. I don’t know if it was the heat, but my head was feeling like a jackhammer was going off in it. My vision was starting to blur. Like what the f***!!

It didn’t last very long though. My vision started to clear after a while and the jackhammer was slowing down. I looked up and saw that the school was almost empty and Melody still hadn’t come out. Where the hell is she?!

I locked my car and made my way into the school building. A few students and teachers were still lingering in the hall. But Melody was nowhere to be found. I was getting really worried. Where the hell could she be?!

I stop a few of the students and asked after her, but no one knew where she went. I searched a few of the rooms and found nothing. It was starting to look like she wasn’t even in the building. I was on my way to the office when someone stopped me. It was a girl, who was about 5 feet nothing, with blood red hair and black lips and eyes. Well damn!

“You looking for Melody?”

She asked is the cutest voice ever. Her voice did not match her outer appearance. I snapped out of it when she started to give me the glare of death.

“Yes I am, do you happen to know where I can find her?”

She nodded her head. “Yeah, she hightailed it outta here when she got a called for parents, right after finals.”

I thanked her then turned on my heel and left. I got into my car and drove to her parents’ house. I knew that whatever it was, it wasn’t going to be good. She’s been avoiding her parents for a while, she swore that she wasn’t going to let them suck her back into their loveless life. For her to drop everything and not even tell me where she was going, had to be serious.

I arrived at the house to the sound of shouting. It was so loud that a few of the neighbours were sitting outside their houses, with food and drinks, pretending that they weren’t listening. I didn’t have time to deal with any of that though. What I couldn’t understand was why my parents’ car was parked outside of Melody’s parents’ house. This shit did not look good!

I got out of the car and made my way over to the door and knock. I wasn’t so sure they heard me, because of the racket they were causing. However, after about my 10th knock the door was opened for me. I saw Melody standing there with tears flowing down her beautiful face. Before I could ask her what the problem was, she threw herself into my arms. I wrapped my arms around her and held her close, burying my face in her hair. I inhaled her scent and sighed. She was safe, that’s all that mattered.

“Are you ok baby?”

I asked, still holding her close. She shook her head and I stroked her hair. She pulled away from me and I held her hand. We make our way back into the house and to the shouting that was still going on. The small room was filled up and some of the occupants were people I hadn’t seen before. An older woman who looked a lot like Melody’s mother, another older woman, two guys and a girl who looked about our age.

When Mel and I came back into the room, the two guys and the girls turned to look our way. There was just pure shock on their faces. And one of the guys just looks downright angry. What the hell was his problem?

“Is this the f**ker you’re dating?”

The angry one said, causing everyone to look our way. The shouting stopped momentarily. Melody leaned in closer to me, for support I presumed. I wanted to know what the hell was going and I didn’t have to wait long before the shouting started up back again.

“Get your tramp of a daughter away from my son!”

“Don’t you dare call my baby girl a tramp, it’s your son who can’t keep his hands off of her!”

“So this is the boyfriend slash cousin she’s dating.”

“She chose him over my son?”

The voices were coming from all angle, it was hard to understand them all. Melody started screaming for them all to shut the hell up, but they were all too fired up to listen. When it looked like they were gonna stay arguing all day, Melody pulled me away from the noise into the kitchen. She closed the door which help a little, but I could still hear the arguing.

I turned to face her, my face a mask of confusion.

“What the hell is going on in there? Why are my parents here? Who are those people? And what does she mean by, yo…”

I was cut off by Melody’s lips on mine. She ran her hands through my hair and I snaked my hands around her waist. Her kiss was desperate and needy, it was like she want me to calm her and take away the pain. She started crying and she kissed me. I felt her tears as they fell from her eyes onto my cheeks. I taste the saltiness of it as it touched our lips.

I kissed her back, letting her know with my lips that I was always gonna be there for her. That I was never going to let her go, she was never going to be alone again. The kiss started off as a means of comfort, but as the seconds went by it got more intense.

She angled her head to the side, providing me better access to her lips. I groaned against her lips and lift the hem of her top. Placing my hands flat on her skin. I started to move with her until we came up against the counter. I lifted her, placing her on the counter top. She wrapped her legs around my waist and we continued kissing.

I pulled away just long enough to look into her eyes. They were stormy and filled with passion and venerability. Her lips were kiss swollen and slightly parted. I was so closed to her I felt the frantic beats of her heart. Her breath was hot and seductive. The little panting sounds coming from her, was turning me on.

I glide my hand up her waist, touching every part of her that was available to me. I never took my eyes off of her. I watch as she sucked in a breath and bit her lips as my hands moved over her breast. Lingering just long enough to hear her moan.

I continued my assault of her body, moving my hand up over her breast to her neck then using my thumb to circle her lips. I watched as she closed her eyes and moved her head back. God she’s sexy!

When she opened her eyes to look at me, I smiled and said,

“I love you.”

A small smiled appeared on her lips and she replied.

“I love you too.”

I crashed my mouth to hers, moving my hand into her hair. Grapping at the root and slightly pulling. I couldn’t get enough of her. I wanted to kiss the pain away and make the world a better place for her. At that moment the kissing was more about comfort and healing. Although it was steamy and seductive, it was not about sex. Sex was the last thing on our minds.

The noise from the other started to fade as I kissed her. It was just me and her, we were the only two people that mattered. We were so lost in the kiss and in each other that we never heard the door to the kitchen opened and closed.

“Well I’ll be damn, if that ain’t one steamy ass kiss.”

Melody and I broke away from each other, our breaths coming in hard hand fast. I rest my head against her. My hands were still under her shirt and in her hair, her hands still deep in my hair. I looked her in her eyes and saw the passion was still there. Her eyes were begging me to continue, I groan from the sheer magnetic power of it. I capture her lips in a last attempt to state us both, but it was just igniting the fire within us.

I reluctantly pulled away and fix her shirt back in place. I lifted her down from the counter and held her hand as we turned to face the intruder. Or should I have said intruders. Because the girl who spoke was accompanied by the two other guys.

“Hey, so you’re Oswaldo? Been hearing a lot about lately. I’m Harmony…”

She said, then point to the guys behind her.

“…and these two fools behind me are my twin brother Lyrex and my bestie Theo.”

I said hello to her and the two guys, but I could see that the one on the left was still looking angry. What the hell is his problem?!

After that the room got pretty silent, we were all looking at each other. I had nothing to say to break the ice. It was getting pretty awkward. Melody moved away from me and went to the fridge. She opened it and retrieved two bottle of water. She handed me one and kept the other one for herself. I thanked her and was about to open it when the Mr angry opened his mouth.

“Oh, so that’s how it is. You ain’t see no one else in the room, so you just gonna offer his white ass water and the rest of us can just die of thirst?”

I was about to ask him what the hell was his problem, when Melody got up and threw her opened bottle of water at the dude’s head. The others jumped out of the way but it didn’t help. Everybody got wet.

“There you go, you got water now. Are you happy, or do want some mo?”

She said it in the sweetest voice ever and with a smile on her face. However, I could see the fire in her eyes. The guy cursed and rushed over to Melody. He looked about ready to hit her. Listen, I don’t know who this guy think he is, but there is no way I’m gonna let him put his hands on my girl.

I moved in front of Melody and the guy laughed and got up in my face.

“So you think you can take me white boy? Why don’t you give it your best shot?”

I didn’t even get a chance to reply to him before Melody’s fist came out and hit him in the face. She was ready to jump on him but I held her back. My girl was acting crazy, kicking and screaming all the curse words known to man and even some of the unknown one. I was impress by some of the things that were coming out of her mouth. It just made her even sexier in my eyes.

Harmony moved in front of the guy and put her hands on his chest.

“Chill the F**K out Theo. We didn’t come in here to cause trouble and you know that Deedee will whoop your ass if you piss her off.”

Theo held his hands up in surrender and backed up a bit. There was a trail of blood at the corner of his mouth and he wiped it away. His eyes was hard when he look at me. I could feel the anger rolling off of him like a heatwave.

“Punk ass bitch! So you let your woman fight yo battles for you?”

Melody started kicking and screaming again.

“Say one mo thing nigga and I swear I’m gonna rearrange you ugly ass face, you pansy ass bitch!”

Harmony and Lyrex started laughing. I still had my hands around Mel. She started to calm down when the other started laughing. When I was sure she wasn’t gonna go crazy again, I slowly slid my hands from around her waist.

Melody turned to me. “Richie, this is my cousin Harmony and Lyrex and the ignorant fool over there is Theo, my dumbass ex.”

Oh! Now I get why the dude was acting like an ass and looking at Melody like she was the finest piece of ass he’s ever seen. Now that shit was pissing me off. I pulled her back into my arms.

“Dude would you stop eye f**king my girlfriend right in front of me”

He smirked. “Well at least of us is f**king her.”

I smirked right back at him. “Yeah, and I know it ain’t you.”

I saw the blush crept up in Melody cheeks. Her cousin Harmony started squealing and jumping.

“Deedee, you have to tell me all about it. I want all the sappy details when all this shit is over.”

I ignored the look Theo was giving and asked. “What the hell is going on in there? Why are my parents here?”

I took a seat at the dining table and lifted Mel onto my lap. I heard that dumbass Theo curse but I continued to ignore him. Harmony and Lyrex took the seats opposite us.

“Your parents showed up here to warn my parents that if I don’t stay away from you, they were gonna have to take action. Well mainly it was your mother who was making the threats. So my mother called me and I came here to find them at each other throats. I don’t know why I even bothered to come, I should have stayed my ass at school.”

I could feel her getting worked up again so I ran my hands up and down her arms to calm her. I understand why my mother would try and break Melody and I up. I mean, we are talking about 97 million. My mother was just not ready to give up on her dream of getting control over my money. Which should rightfully be Melody’s anyway. Maybe I’ll have to remedy that soon.

“I understand why my parents are here. But no offence, what I don’t understand is why you guys are here?”

Lyrex and Harmony both shrugged their shoulders.

“None taken man. We were just here to visit Deedee over there. See we didn’t know that baby girl done moved out and shit. That shit was news to us.”

Harmony joined in. “Yeah, she done moved out and got herself a real man.”

She turned to Theo. “Don’t yo ass look at me like that, you know I’m right. White boy over here done got our girl to do the nasty, something you ain’t never been able to do and it wasn’t for lack of trying on yo part.”

Melody went red with embarrassment. I chuckled then kissed her cheeks.

“Anyway, like I was saying. We was here digesting the bombshell when yo crazy ass parents showed up, all uptight and smelling of money and shit. They asses was like, tell your gold-digging daughter to stay away from my son. She is never going to get her filthy hands on his inheritance. Then Aunt Nancy called Deedee, then a while after you came and now we’re here. So is y’all really cousins?”

Wow! She said all that in one breath without stopping. That kinda shit takes talent.

“No we’re not.” I said answering her question.

“Oh ok, cause that would have been really messed up.”

I said nothing to that. The awkward silence was in place again. I didn’t know what else to say to them and frankly I just wanted to get the hell up outta there with my girl.

I leaned forward and whispered in Melody’s ear. “What do you say we make a run for it and go home?”

She closed eyes and leaned back onto me. “Please let’s.”

I chuckled then lifted her off of my lap. I got up and turn to her cousins.

“You guys are welcome to come over at the house if you want to.”

Harmony jumped up. “Yeah, of course we want to. We’ll meet y’all outside.”

She dragged Lyrex by his shirt over to the door where Theo was standing. She grabbed Theo’s shirt too and started dragging him. When he didn’t move she said.

“Theo Milroy Jackson, stop acting like a stubborn mule and let’s go. You know yo nosey ass wanna see where Deedee is staying. So stop acting like you a thug and moved idiot!”

Theo finally moved and Harmony dragged them both out of the kitchen. I turned to Melody, pulling her into my arms.

“So, Deedee, seems like you and I have a lot to talk about.”

She got on her tippy toe and kissed me. “I know, but that’s gonna have to wait for another day. Right now we have to go home and entertain guest.”

She moved away and walked over to the door. I watched as her hips swayed. Sexiest shit ever. I’m telling you guy, if god decided to take my life, I’d have no regrets. She turned back to looking at me.

“Are you gonna come, or are you planning to stand there and look at my ass as I walk away.”

Well hell, I don’t know about y’all but that sounds damn good to me. I followed her out of the kitchen and out of the house. Our parents were still arguing and for once I didn’t care. All I cared about was the fine ass girl in front of me. Everything else could be left for another day.

We got into my car and drove off. Melody and I in the front with Harmony, Lyrex and Theo in the back. I might not have to deal with our parents shit but it looks like I’ll be dealing with Mel’s ex-boyfriend’s bullshit.
