"Be careful okay?" Nia hugged the life out of Esmé, Carlisle, Jasper and Emmet. It was finally time. They would be going out to resupply. And the wolfs won't hesitate bitting their necks off.

Emmet messed Nia's hair. "Don't worry Swan girl. They're just a bunch of oversized mutts." He can hear Paul's growl behind them.

Paul went to them and placed his arm on Nia's waist protectively. "Well we'll just see about that."

"Paul" Nia warned. The hothead has been acting like this since the second he came in the house. It is no secret that Paul missed his former pack which made Nia weary. Emmet gave an awkward hug before retreating outside where the other three vampires were waiting. "Don't forget to stick to the plan!" Nia called out before shutting the front door. She turned to Paul and asked "What the hell was that for?"

"I don't know. Old habits. I'm sorry; it won't happen again." Paul stared out into the window. His friends stared at him with miss and sadness. In that moment, all he wanted to do is shift and run with them. Nia could see it in his eyes, the pain, the sacrifice. Yet she couldn't do anything but comfort him.

All she could say was, "It's your turn to get out there. Finish the plan."

Jacob and Paul went into the woods with Seth and Leah hot on their trails. "They're coming!" They both said in unison. The two boys ignored the siblings' warnings and stared into the one of the bushes.

"You can come out now." Jacob called out to the deep green bush. And out came Sam and Jared who showerd nothing but hatred in their eyes. "We want you to take back Seth and Leah. They aren't a part of this so no harm should come upon them." The siblings started to protest though no one wanted to hear it. 

"And I want to ensure Nia's safety." Paul added.

Sam and Jared shared a look before asking, "And what will we have in return."

Jacob answered with question with venom in his voice. "I'm going to kill that monster in Bella's womb. They all trust me now so it should be easy." It was a mixed reaction between all of them. Seth and Leah and shocked faces, Paul, Jacob and Jared had stone cold ones while Sam looked proud. The pack leader smiled in satisfaction. He opened his mouth to agree to the deal but shut it right after multiple howls were heard from a distance. The mind link opened to Sam who stared at his former most trusted wolfs.

"You played us! Four leaches escaped!" Jared voiced his thoughts. He was beyond furious, he started to shake violently. Brown fur started to grow on his back, his canines started showing. It was only when said held him back, Jared returned to human form breathing heavily. 

"I can't believe that you would go against you own kind." Sam glared at the four. This was the last push. He was reckless now, he didn't care about the outcome of what he was going to say next. "You-" he pointed at the smirking Lahote "-have no idea.'

Paul scoffed "I don't know what you mean."

"You weren't the only ones who played us tonight. You fiancé, Nia Swan, she has been playing with you all along. She was never gonna marry you fool. By the end of next week she'll be across the world for college. Oxford was it?" Sam tilted his head.

Paul, who had his arms crossed slowly put them down to his sides. No, this is bullshit, he told himself. "Nia isn't going to college anymore Sam. She resigned."

"Then why did she call a few days ago to RSVP?" He threw a piece of paper at Paul's feet. The hothead didn't even have to read everything to know that it was acceptance letter. He didn't say anything nor did he move a muscle. Paul Lahote just stood there like a statue. Sam walked away satisfied with what he has done. Hell was going to break lose tonight. He could feel it. Jacob, Leah and Seth slowly walked towards their fazed friend.

"Paul, he's just lying don't listen to a word he says." Leah tried to comfort him. She tried to convince herself too that isn't what Nia was hiding. Yet, Leah could always sense that the seventeen year old brunette wouldn't want to waste her potentials. Seth thought it too, he debated wether he should place a comforting hand on Paul's shoulder. But he didn't want to be thrown to a tree so he stuck with nodding to Leah's encouraging words. Jacob was the one who picked up the acceptance letter. Nia, what have you done.

"They're back!" Nia jumped from the couch and greeted the four wolfs entering the room. Bella, Alice, Rosalie and Edward waved in their seats. The plan was a success. Now they just had to wait for the four others to be back with supply. "I'm glad you're safe." Nia hugged her fiancé but he stood stiff to her touch. He didn't even hug back or was looking at her. "Paul? What's wrong?" She glanced at Jacob, Seth and Leah who also avoided eye contact.

Edward knew exactly what happened. He snooped into their minds and became worried for Nia. Standing up from the couch, Edward opened his mouth to say "Nia I think-"

"AWW" Bella screamed dropping her blood bag on the floor. It was a big splash mostly messing up the white carpet. The pregnant woman was caught by her husband and Alice when she feel. Loud cracks were heard coming from her back. Bella gasped in pain in her lower region and back. She was carried out in a hurry. It was time for her to have the baby.

Everyone rushed in separate ways. With all the vampires and Bella to Carlisle's clinic and the wolves scattered outside to guard the estate. It was only Paul and Nia who remained in the room. She wanted to block out Bella's screams coming from downstairs. Afraid of what might happen to her sister, Nia went to Paul for support. But as soon their hands made contact, Paul drew his hand back fast glaring at her. "Don'.t.You.Dare."

"Paul what's wrong-"

"-WHAT'S WRONG?! YOU TELL ME WHATS WRONG NIA. YOU HAVE BEEN LYING TO ME THIS ENTIRE YEAR. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE GOING TO COLLEGE. I WOULD BE COMPLETELY FINE WITH THAT!"

The brunette broke down crying, "I'm sorry." She begged "I didn't want to disappoint you."

Paul shook his head at her. "You made me believe that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me. How could do!"

"But I do! I'm just not ready yet!" She looked up at him nodding eagerly. Nia Swan was a crying mess by now.

"Then why did you say yes when you weren't ready yet? Why did you say you wanna move in with me when you weren't ready yet? Why did you let your smelly asshole of a pet move in with me if you weren't ready yet? And why did you lie to me that would be moving away for four years huh?" He slammed her acceptance letter onto the table. It made a loud bang that shook the whole house. Nia flinched at the act of anger Paul had displayed. She had answers to his questions but in that moment she said nothing. Nia didn't know why she had done those things anymore. All she can remember is Paul's look of pure bliss every time she said 'yes'. 

"Eight years, I will be gone for eight years." She said softly. Nia looked to the ground feeling that everything was now over. Paul stomped away to the front door and slammed it shut leaving Nia flinching for the second time. There the youngest Swan cried to herself. Oh gosh what have I done? The crying pleas of Bella could be heard from above. She was screaming Nia's name, for her to come down and help her. The troubled Swan looked back and forth at the front door and the clinic door. Was she going to run after Paul or run to Bella?
