Minutes turned into hours. Hours turned into days. And Days turned into weeks. Weeks since any of us had left the house, weeks since the pack had been watching us. Food was running short for both vampires and humans. It was a problem that could be chaotic for those in the inside. The only solution was to go out, but that's what the wolves want. Nia did not fucking give a damn. "Shit!" She smashed her hand on the wooden table. "I've had enough!" She threw her hands up in the air.

"I've never heard her curse before." Seth whispered to Bella.

"Nia, stay calm-"

"-How can I stay calm Carlisle?! I haven't eaten dessert for three weeks! This house has nothing but vegetables and lamb which Bella by the way keeps to herself!"

"Hey!" Bella said from the couch.

"She finally cracked." Emmet shook his head chuckling at the frustrated teen.

Nia marched up to the key tray and grabbed a car key before storming out of the room. Those who were in the room; (Bella, Edward, Emmet, Carlisle and Seth) followed in her trail shouting for her to come back. "You'll know what will happen if you take one foot out!" Bella warned her sister who rolled her eyes.

Jasper and Alice were in the kitchen hearing the commotion. The two were in the middle of making out when they heard Nia scream. Alice pulled back from the lustful kiss "Did Nia just...curse? I've never even heard her curse." She repeated what Seth said.

Their heads turned to the door when they heard angry footsteps walk past. Jasper laughed "She finally lost it. I knew I sensed that she was going to break down when Bella finished all the ice cream."

Alice smacked her boyfriend in the arm. "Then go help her!" He rolled his eyes groaning at his girlfriend's demand. Jasper wanted to passionately kiss his girlfriend, not use his powers on the food crazed brunette in the hallway. He left anyways.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Nia screamed when she saw Jasper approaching her.

He held his hands up "Nia, I'm just here to help."

She pointed at him "Stay away from my emotions Jasper. You do not want to cross a food deprived chick. This is why I don't even go on diets! HELLOOO I'M A HAPPY PIG HERE." Nia ran away.

Bella, Edward, Emmet, Carlisle, Seth and Jasper were hot on the youngest Swan's trails when Alice ran in front of them and blocked their way. "Guys! I just had a vision just now. And if we try to stop her from walking out that door, things won't be pretty...especially to Esmé's art collection." Their heads shot up when they heard a door slam shut.

Nia drove as fast to the nearest fast food restaurant. She needed comfort food, quick! She hit the breaks when a bunch of werewolves appeared and cussed out loud. "DAMMIT GET OUT OF THE WAY."

Amongst them was Paul, not in his wolf form but still shirtless having to shift back as soon as he saw her driving down the road. It drove him nuts only to see her from afar these past weeks.

Nia got down from the car and marched up to them. Before she can open her mouth to shout, Paul interrupted her "I've missed you." He gave her the devil's smirk which he knew drove her wild.

Nia laughed at him "Oh you're good Lahote. But if you're not gonna move, I'm afraid that I may have to run you over." His smirk turned upside down.

Paul puffed out his chest before ordering Embry, Jared and Quil back to their posts. "C'mon, it's my treat." He walked past her and sat on the driver's seat. The brunette, despite her anger didn't want to waste time arguing. All she wanted to do was fill that grumble in her stomach ever since she stepped foot into that house.

"You're really cute when you eat."

Nia's eyes met his brown ones. "You gotta do better than that Lahote." She said while her mouth was full. It was her third burger yet she had the urge to order more. "You really hurt me."

"I'm trying to protect you."

"Oh please, you and your pack are circling the property waiting for us to run out of food so that you can kill us."

"You know that's not true-at least for you." Paul defensively said. It was true. The pack could never lay a hand on Nia Swan's head. It was their most important rule; never kill an imprint. Nia sighed. She maybe safe but the others aren't. She considered herself blessed that she's eating in a fast food restaurant right now and not dead on the side of the road because she had stepped out of the Cullens' house. Her eyes went to her hand which was laced with Paul's. "It's okay. I get it. Bella's your family. You love her not me-"

"-No!" She exclaimed. "Don't ever say that. I love my sister. But I also love my imprint." Nia tightened her grip on his hand. "More than anything in this world."

Paul stood up from his chair and kneeled with both knees win front of the brunette. He brought both of her hands to his face and kissed them. "Then marry me." She could no longer see the sun which was beautifully setting through the window, she could no longer hear people's chatter around them and she could no longer even see the restaurant anymore; The world had faded away to Nia Swam, it was just the both of them. "Marry me." Paul repeated.

"I-I-I have to tell you something...about college."

His face fell "You're still going to community college here right? So that we won't be apart. You promised me all year long."

Nia was lost for words "That's the thing. I'm going to Europe. Paul. I'm pushing through with Oxford."

"You said that you'll never leave me."

"I know and I won't. England is just-"

"-NO" He shouted. That got the attention of the whole restaurant. "You made me get my hopes up! I thought that we were going to start a life together! I put up with your drama and I even took in your annoying as hell but deliciously good to eat rabbit!"

Nia felt her gut fall.

Paul then threw the plates to the white brick wall. "LIAR. Why do you want to leave huh? So that you can fuck someone else?" Nia was so taken back she didn't remember what she did. All she knew was that her hand hurt and Paul had a red mark on his face. It was already a known fact that Paul was very very very protective over Nia that they even get into fights because Paul wouldn't allow her to go out a lot and talk to boys. She was even stricter than her own father.

Paul didn't hit her, but his words did. "You are DEAD to me Nia Swan. You, your sister, that demon child and the rest of leeches whom you call friends." He said before exiting slamming the glass doors and shattering them in the process.

"Nia? Please say something. You can't leave me. I'm begging you." Nia was brought back to reality. She shuddered at the possible scenario of him threatening her. "I'll do anything for you to marry me."

She was going to regret it...or maybe she won't. Nia was not sure of a lot of things like if she was willing to give up her dream to be in his, to live in La Push for the rest of her life, not exploring the world and start a life with him at such a young age. But she was sure of two things: number one; she loved him and he loved her. And number two; he was willing to do anything to get her to say yes.

"Switch sides. Don't go after Bella and the baby. Join Jacob's pack."

Paul didn't even hesitate to answer "yes" before he kissed his fiancé.
