Ruhana is sitting worried at her place when Abhijeet comes to her. One could easily see pain in his eyes. Ruhana finds her father and holds his hands.

"Papa! Papa vo thik toh hai na! Usey kuch hua toh nai na!" she asks while looking at him with hopeful eyes.

Abhijeet couldn't see his daughter in tears. He smears her head.

"Beta, tum araam karo. Hum is baare mein baad mein baat karenge." he says while trying to hide his tears.

" Nahi papa, pehle mujhe ye janna hai k vo thik toh hai na! Please bataiye na!" She asks again, her eyes teary.

"Beta tum… tum please aram kro.. hum baad mein baat…" he says but she cuts her.

"Nahi papa! Main aapse kuch puch rahi hu na, please tell me, mujhe bahut ghabrahat ho rahi hai, kuch thik nai lag raha… Please tell me papa.." she says breaking into tears.

Abhijeet looks at his daughter, he can't change the truth, neither can he hide it. He cups her face.

"Beta jo main batane vala hun tumhe bahut himmat se sunna hoga. Beta tumhe himmat rakhni hogi. And you know no matter what main aur Tarika hamesha tumhare sath hain." he says while Ruhana is staring at him blankly.

"Aur tumhare sawal ka jawab kash mujhe na dena padta,ya shayad vo jawab badal paata. Lekin sach ye hai beta ki ab vo is duniya mein nai hai…." he says.

"Noo! Nahiii! Ye nahi ho sakta. Aap jhooth bol rahe ho, hai na! Please bolo ye jhooth hai!" Ruhana screams on hearing the truth.

"Kaash, main ye keh sakta, beta!" he says and hugs Ruhana who's crying badly by now.

Ruhana is shivering badly with tears in her eyes and fear overpowering her senses. She comes back into reality on a warm touch on her shoulder. She finds  Vinay sitting beside her …

"Ruhana! Aap thik to hain na! Kaha khoi hui thi aap! Dekhiye aap fiqar mat kijiye kuch nai hoga Bulbul ko… vo bahut hi jald sahi salamat apke paas hogi." he tries to comfort her.

She looks at Vinay for a few good seconds, and then hugs him, breaking into tears. Vinay is baffled, he knows that she is highly worried about Bulbul, but he didn't expect her to cry bitterly.

" kyun Vinay, kyun?  bhagwan hamesha mere sath hi aisa kyu karte hain! Jissey bhi main pyar karti hun, hamesha vo usey mujhse chin letey hain. Pehley bhi ek baar kisi apney ko kho chuki hun. Agar is baar vaisa hi kuch hua toh main marr jaungi…" she says while sobbing, still hugging him.

Vinay hugs her and starts smearing her head to calm her down.

"Shhhh, aisa nai kehte Ruhana. Pehle jo bhi hua ho, ab vaisa nai hoga. Kuch bhi nahi hoga. Aap shant ho jaiye." Vinay says.

Ruhana parts the hug while Vinay looks at her and wipes the tears from her face.

"Aur aap toh Bulbul se itna pyar karti hain, Uskey dost, aapke parents, Asha ji… hum sab jab usey itna pyar kartey hain to bhagwan kaise usey humse chinenge..hmm! Aur aapko toh pta hi hai hmari Bulbul bahut bahadur hai… koi kabhi uska kuch bigad skta hai kya!! " he says.

Ruhana nods negatively.

"Jaanti hun main ki meri Bulbul bahut bahadur hai.. Lekin mujhe bahut darr lag rhaa hai. Filhal main bas itna jaanti hun ki agar usey kuch bhi hua toh mujhse bardasht nahi hoga." Ruhana says tearily.

"Relax Ruhana, sab thik hoga.. Dekhna is baar bhi hamari nanhi dost us Makhija ko dhool hi chatayegi." Vinay says.

Ruhana nods, but holds his hand. She feels safe having him around.

"Pta nai Vinay.. Aap thik hi keh rahe hain par mera dil bahut ghabra raha hai…. Apko toh pta hi hai k vo Makhija pehle se hi Bulbul se nakhush tha…." she shares her fear.

"Par hamari Bulbul shant bhi nai baithi hogi na! Am sure ab tak toh vo Makhija aur uske gunde pachta rahe honge ki unhone Bulbul ko kidnap kiya hi kyun!!" he says playfully and a smile graces her lips.

Ruhana smiles a little on this but is still worried. Vinay embraces her in his arms and she keeps her head on his shoulder while he's trying to calm her. Acp Vineet, on the other hand, finds Ruhana and Vinay together and he feels a pang in his heart for an unknown reason. But he gets busy with his call. Abhijeet looks at  his daughter and then converses with Tarika…

"Tarika, I know tum kya soch rahi ho! Main janta hun k tum preshan ho aur iski vajah bhi ache se samjhta hun…" he says softly.

It's very hard for a parent to see their child in pain. Tarika casts one look at her daughter, her eyes are teary.

"Mujhe toh smajh nahi aata, Abhijeet ki upar vala hamesha meri bachi ki zindgi mein dard kyun bhar deta hai? Abhi vo us sadme se puri tarah nikal nai payi hai k ab ye sab! Firse vaisa hi kuch ho raha hai? Kya meri beti ko zindgi mein khush hone ka koi haq nai!" she asks looking at her husband.

" Shant ho jao Tarika,Jo bhi ho raha hai vo to hamare bas mein nai hai lekin ek chiz toh hai. Aur wo ye ki Hamein Ruu k liye apni himmat banaye rakhni hogi. Agar hum hi himmat har gaye toh humari beti ka kya hoga, aur rahi baat Bulbul ki toh usey kuch nai hoga. Police apna kam kar rahi hai na. " he says.

Tarika casts a look at Vineet.

" Han dekh hi rahi hun… kitney ache se apni duty kar rahi hai police…" she says, anger audible in her voice.

Abhijeet sighs. They both are worried for Bulbul and ofcourse Ruhana.

" I know Tarika, abhi tumhare mann mein kya chal raha hai lekin abhi unsab baton se zyada zaruri ye hai k hum Bulbul ki salamati k liye pray krein aur Ruhana fir ek aur sadme se na guzre…." he says.

Tarika nods positively and they just look at Ruhana, whom Vinay is trying to sooth. After a while, Vinay gets a call and he excused himself and gets busy on the call. Here Vineet comes to Ruhana and she turns to the other side.

" Ruhana ji please aap preshan mat hoiye. I know ap Bulbul k liye bahut preshan hain. Trust me main kabhi aisa nahi chahta tha." he says softly.

"Par ye sab hua na, ACP Sahab!! Aapke honhaar officers ke hote hue vo Makhija aur uske aadmi Bulbul tak pahunch gaye aur aap kehte hain ki aapne ye sab nahi chaha tha. It's all your fault." Ruhana shouts at Vineet.

Vineet sighs. She's right at her place, he knows, but she is taking him wrong. Well, when someone is attached closely to someone, this is bound to happen. He gathers some courage and looks at her.

" I know Ruhana ji, aap mujhe gunehgar manti hain is sab k liye, but trust me. Main bhi Bulbul k liye utna hi pareshan hu jitna k aap sab. Main bhi usey bahut pyar krta hun. Yakin maniye Ruhana ji, main usey kuch nai honey dunga. Please aap preshan mat hoiye. Main vada krta hun k bahut jald apki choti dost apke paas hogi.." he says.

Ruhana turns her gaze to other side. For her,he is the culprit who led Bulbul in trouble. He sighs and moves away and gets  busy with his work. Time is elapsing and still the police is unable to find the little girl. Vineet by now, ls again back in his angry young man avtar as his team hasn't have any findings about Makhija. By now, he's more worried for the girl's well being. Punters too are silent today and they were just sitting at a place praying for their friend cum sister's wellbeing.

Makhija's hide out

Bulbul is about to escape from the hideout but she gets scared to see someone, and to her surprise, it's Makhija himself with 2 more goons and is pointing a gun on her. He smiles at the girl.

" Tu khud ko bahut hoshiyar samjhti hai na, khud ko badi tees mar khan samjhti hai! Ek bar nai do do bar, tu hmesha kisi tarah bach jati rahi… par aj nai…. Tujhe tere kiye ki saza toh milkar rahegi ladki, tune mujhse…. Makhija se ulajhney ki bhool ki hai….." he shouts at her.

" Bhool maine nai aapne ki hai. Abhi bhi time hai sudhar jao…. Varna agar mere Acp uncle yaha aa gaye toh tumhara kya haal karenge tum soch bhi nai sakte. " Bulbul tries to scare him.

Makhija gets angry and injures her with the back of his gun, such that Bulbul loses her balance and falls on the floor. He glares at her.

" Tu piddi bhar ladki mujhse zuban ladati hai, tujhe toh main chorunga nai….. "

He then aims the gun at her and is about to press the trigger, but he stops.

"Nai nai nai…. Is chuhiya ne bahut preshan kiya hai mujhe… mere admiyon tak ki nak mein dam kar diya  tujhe itni asani se nahi maarunga. Chal uth…. Ja tujhe ek mauka deta hun…. Bhag…. Bhag…." he shouts.

Bulbul gets up and looks here and there and runs towards the best  possible way to escape from there. She runs around and again finds  Makhija standing in front of her. She diverts her way and again he is already waiting for her, smiling coyly.

She tries to escape but this time Makhija not only is again in front of her but this time he slaps her so hard that she loses her balance again and slips on well arranged barrels and this time he injured her elbows. Bulbul grimaces in pain. Makhija laughs to see her in pain.

"Kya hua! phle toh badi sherni bn rahi thi… ab kya hua han! Lagta hai tera time aa gaya ladki." he says and aims the gun at her again.

He is about to press the trigger again when someone shoots at his hand because of which it starts bleeding and the gun fell down from his hand. He looks in the direction of gunshot and yes Bulbul's Acp uncle has arrived with his team just on time to save her. Bulbul smiles at him while he too smiles at her but her injuries raised his anger. He punches Makhija on his face.

"Teri himmat kaise hui is bachi ko chot pahunchane ki? Tujhe toh main chorunga nai…." he punches him again hardly and Makhija falls on the ground.

Insp. Madan and Insp. Shindey run towards Bulbul and helps her to stand properly while insp. Shindey asks madan to stop Vineet before he brutally injure or even worse, kill Makhija. Inspector madan tries to stop Vineet.

" Sir plz chor dijiye usey vo mar jayga…. Sir plz chordo usey…" he pleads.

Vineet continues to beat Makhija mercilessly.

"Nai…. Isey toh main chorunga nai…. Iski himmat kaise hui ek choti si bachi pe ese hath uthane ki… isey toh main…." he slaps him again.

"Sir plz leave him…. Kanoon saza dega na usey… ap choro usey….." Madan pulls Vineet back.

Somehow, he manages to separate Vineet from Makhija with help of some other officers. Makhija was badly injured and scared too. Bulbul too, is shocked and scared because she has never seen this angry side of Vineet. Makhija is arrested and Vineet turns to Bulbul and finds her scared.

"I'm sorry beta! Meri wajah se tumhe itni chot aayi." he apologises.

"Nahi uncle ismein aapka koi fault nai hai aur mujhe pura yakin tha k aap mujhe kuch nai honey doge…" saying so she hugs him.

Vineet embraces her carefully in her arms.

"Tum thik toh ho na Bulbul!" he asks.

"I am fine, uncle. Aur aapne bhi on time aakar mujhe bacha liya!" she says while in hug.

" Chalein beta… tumare dost tumara wait kar rahe honge." he says.

Bulbul moves forward but grimaces as she is hurt on her knees. Vineet gets worried and asks her the reason. She tells him that she is hurt on her knees. He lifts her in his arms and assures her that she will be fine.
He then takes Bulbul to the hospital and after she is given medical assistance, he takes her to the orphanage where everyone is eagerly waiting for Bulbul as Vineet has already informed them about the girl's well being. Vineet though is taking her back to her loved ones but he is still unsure if she would be safe there in future too, as Makhija has a big gang who still are underground and could harm her. Thinking over all this and best possible solution for this, he drives her to orphanage.
