Surprise! Surprise!!

"No Tames. I wont talk to mum about your girlfriend." Cole chuckled, biting down on an apple. "Oh wait, make that boyfriend."

"She's a girl, Cole." His brother huffed, frowning at him and his forehead furrowing.

"What she has between her legs doesn't define people like her. I mean, she wears a dick." Cole rolled his eyes skyward as he leaned against the lockers.

Tames crossed his arms over his chest. "Are you trying to say I'm gay?"

Cole scoffed, tossing what was left of his apple into the trash which he missed. He cursed and turned away like that never happened. Looking back at his brother, he managed a smile for him as he placed his hands on his shoulder and gave it a small squeeze. "Tammy, I just want to see you show off your girlfriend to mummy. I'm sure she'll not be that mad."

Tames' angry stare shifted to that of fear and his eyes widened slowly. "Oh my god. Do you think she'll be mad?"

"Not that mad but please keep the information about her wearing a dick. Mum or even dad's never ever going to be ready for that information."

Tames nodded, his color coming back to his face slowly. "Thanks Cole."

"I'm just being the big brother. Now, hurry along to class. I've got a free period." Cole smiled at him, sliding his hands into his back pocket as he watched his brother walk off.

Turning back to the lockers, he opened his just when the bell rang and he stuffed his bag inside. He contemplated going to the library or the man cave when he heard Cloud's voice behind him, startling him and causing him to yelp as he turned to glare at his boyfriend.

"Don't do that." He rubbed his chest as his harden gaze softened. Cloud, looking ever so tasty smiled down at him.

"Wow. A little spook like that and you are going crazy. I really wonder how you felt during that roller coaster."

"Well, I died and came back. It was a thrilling experience." He said sarcastically, turning back to lock his locker.

Cloud chuckled then came to lean on the locker beside him making Cole sigh in relief when he finally left his back. "Someone is grumpy."

"Not."

"Not arguing." He rose his hands up in surrender and that was when Cole noticed the half eaten apple that resembled his in a way.

Cole pointed at it and said, "Is that my apple?"

Cloud glanced at it then at him and nodded, "Wanted to mock you for not making the shot. Saw it from down the hall."

"And you couldn't just throw it in the trash?" Cole rolled his eyes and watched Cloud when he threw the apple perfectly into the trash then he smirked at him.

"I win."

"Sure. But I'm a track and field person. Throwing things into holes wasn't my area of expertise." He shrugged, turning away from him when he finally made up his mind where to go to.

"Want me to race you to the man cave?"

The minute he said that Cole had to stop. Something was wrong. "Is it me or are you a little talk active today?"

Cloud shifted weirdly on his feet then glanced around the empty hallway before looking back at Cole and sighed. "I'm nervous about meeting your parents."

Cole was puzzled about that. Yesterday after Cole confessed about kissing Mattew, he had asked Cloud to have a family dinner with him. Cloud had called that night to agree after meeting with his dad and he had sounded very excited on the phone. Cole couldn't think of what would made him frightened now.

"But you've met them before." Cole said.

Clearing his throat, Cloud continued walking, leading them up to their man cave and Cole had no choice than to follow him. Cole noticed Cloud didn't try to look at him once as he said, "Someone told me your parents might've preferred you to date one of the Lumbergs kids. Obviously Mattew. But I didn't respond and just ignored it. Normally, it wouldn't have bothered me but after what you told me yesterday, it became a bother."

Cole's shoulders slumped. Who would have said such a thing? No one knew about him and Mattew and God knew Mattew was smart enough not to tell anyone.

"Cloud..."

Cloud immediately stopped on the landing of the stairs they were on and looked at Cole. "But that doesn't mean I don't want to see your parents. I told my dad to be on his best behavior and I'll try to win your parent's heart, okay?"

A smile crept on Cole's face at the thought of what his boyfriend said. He was that desperate to have Cole that he would want to please his parents. Cole just leaned up to plant his lips lightly on his before pulling away to rest his forehead on his. "My parents are going to love you."

"Um..." Someone above them cleared their throat and Cole and Cloud looked up to see Mattew standing at the top of the stairs. He had a magazine in his hand and he cleared his throat again before saying, "Um, sorry to disturb but can I have-borrow... Can I borrow Cole for a while?"

He said it directly to Cloud and Cole wondered if Mattew had finally lost his mind. Cole had expected Cloud to decline and whisked Cole off to their man cave but he just nodded and left Cole there for him.

Groaning, Cole came up the stairs to frown at Mattew who just shrugged it off as he said, "So, I was reading the school's magazine, Kim's page, and guess what I noticed?"

"The characters died at the end?" He shrugged nonchalantly, looking blankly at him.

Mattew rolled his eyes and said, "No, she updated it today and said, it was a true life story. Cole, Evan kissed Maine when he was going out with Skye and he flipping freaked out about it the way you did. " Cole felt his breath leave him and Mattew continued, now frowning at him and poking him with the horrible magazine, "I'm sure the next chapter is about Evan confessing how much he loved Maine and Maine still choosing Skye because he loved him. Oh, I can't wait." Mattew gave him one last nasty look before walking past him to the stairs.

Cole didn't want to believe it. He had thought Kim stopped writing about him. He even thought she had moved on to another story line. But no. She had even written it was a true story. Something she said she was only going to write at the end of the story. Cole hated her. How could she do that to him? Maybe she was even the one who told Cloud that stupid thing. But Cole could never be sure now since anyone close to him with a brain could figure it out.

Taking out his phone, Cole quickly called her, knowing she was either missing class or writing the book. She answered immediately with a yawn and said, "Friend, it's Kim."

"Why did you do it?" He almost yelled into the phone, walking away from the stairs which was quite open to a window between two lockers that had a good view of the school field. "Why did you continue writing the book?"

"What?" She sounded confused which just made him angrier.

"Please, don't lie to me. Why did you continue the Maine book? I thought you stopped?"

Kim grunted then some shuffling noise came from the phone before her voice came on again, "Cole, calm down. I didn't write anything. It stopped when Maine finally let go of Evan then went to Skye. I didn't even write the true story I joked I would."

Cole couldn't believe it. Then how did it get on the school magazine? "It's in the school magazine."

"What?" Now, she sounded alarmed. "How did it get there? I only wrote it down in my journal and trust me, I keep my shit close."

Cole ran a hand through his hair, "Please tell me the journal is with you. Please tell me."

Kim didn't respond this time. Cole stayed quiet and glanced around every so often incase someone was watching him. His heart skipped a beat when Kim came on the phone again, "Okay. Don't panic Cole, but I can't find it."

Cole hung up and he was seconds from throwing his phone away if he hadn't read the Caller ID and seen Cloud's name and face on his screen. Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm himself before strolling casually into his man cave. He opened the door and his heart got caught in his throat at the sight before him.

Written on the white board with a red marker was WILL YOU GO TO PROM WITH ME? And written underneath was YOUR LOVE, CLOUD.

Cole was surprised to see flowers taped to the corners of the board and a few of the petals were on the floor. A grin broke on his face when he read the awful hand writing again then turned when he felt a presence behind him. Cole didn't know what to say because he knew what he really wanted to do was squeal. He gave a short nod Cloud threw his arms around him, hugging him tightly to himself.

"It would have been awkward if you didn't say yes."

Cole managed to hold back his squeal as he pulled away from Cloud to say, "If I didn't say yes, then it meant I wasn't coming at all. I didn't know we were going to have prom. Grad I know is next two weeks."

Cloud rose a neat brow at him before walking past him to their couch. "What do you mean you didn't know? They announced it this morning."

"I was late." Cole clicked his tongue on his teeth, remembering his mum had to take him to school again because he missed the bus. "Well, the school is pretty quiet about it."

"You came really late then." Cloud nodded then motioned for him to come and sit down.

Rolling his eyes, Cole obeyed, coming to sit by the other end of the couch. However, that didn't stop Cloud from using his lap as a pillow. Cloud smiled up at him and Cole returned it, remembering the first time Cloud had used his laps as a pillow. Thinking back, it looked like a crazy long time ago.

Reaching for his hair, Cole ran a hand through Cloud's hair and said, "I'm going to George University, Cloud."

Cloud blinked and he immediately sat up to look at him better. Cole just smiled at him and gave a silent nod to the question that must be running in the poor guy's head because George University was the school Cloud was going to and Cole knew he couldn't do a long distance relationship.

That and the fact that he just got Cloud pushed him to apply the second Cloud's team won the football match. He just got the acceptance letter last night.

"Don't lie to me." Cloud cupped Cole's face, his face growing into that of joy.

"I would never. I just got the acceptance letter last night. Since you're coming over today, we could check out the residence."

Cloud's brow creased slightly in disbelief and he sighed. His hand pulled Cole so he could kiss him and show how grateful he was. Cole just melted into it and sighed when he pulled away. "God, you have no idea how happy that made me."

Cole could guess but it wasn't like he wanted to ruin the moment. Cloud was already so close to him and he could think of a number of things he wanted to do to him.

Switching off his phone in case people like Kim or Mattew called him to give him more bad news, he dropped his phone on the stool and leaned closer to Cloud, being obvious about what he needed.

Keeping a steady eye contact with him, he brushed his hand against Cloud's chest, sliding it up until he had cupped his neck. He licked his lips and said, "There are a number of ways you can repay me."

The gaze Cloud gave him in return made Cole's cock jump for joy especially when his lips came crashing down on him again.
