Romantic Train Rides.

With a well fitted red jean worn with a plain black round neck short sleeved and a black leather jacket to accompany it, Cole stood before his boyfriend and grinned.

Cloud laughed after he did a once over of him, "Oh my god. You dressed up for it."

Cole shrugged, "It happens when you over think a situation and you just want it to be perfect."

He shook his head as he closed up the space between them and said, wrapping an arm around his waist, "Then I wish it wasn't a double date. That way I can have you all to myself."

Cole's heart was beating rapidly in his chest and he felt embarrassed when his mini him started to react to how close he was. Like seriously, he hasn't even done anything yet.

With a shaky breath, he unwrapped himself from him to stop his heart from beating so fast and held his hand so it won't look like he was running away, "Then let's get this double date over with so you can have me all to yourself then."

Cole actually didn't want that. His heart was beating more than it used to and it wasn't calming down. Maybe it was the nonsense talk of love this morning or the fact that he might actually be in love with him.

All that crossed his mind as Cloud pulled him out to the street to wait by the bus stop was if Cloud loved him back because right now, he had no idea of he did.

Cloud snapped him out of his thoughts and said, "Come on, the bus is here."

"Wait, the bus?" He asked as Cloud lead him into it, paying for the both of them. When they were comfortable seated at the back, Cole whispered to him, "Why are we on the bus? You have a car."

"I don't know. I thought it would be more fun to ride the bus to our date." He turned to face him. "I thought it could ease the tension a little bit."

That was when Cole saw the slightly flushed skin at his cheeks. It wasn't just Cole who was being affected, Cloud was too and that, somehow calmed him. His heart felt warm and fuzzy instead and he held Cloud's hand to show he understood.

Cloud grinned, "I lo-"

"Let's do this game, we pick a person and we guess the kind of person they are." Cole interrupted.

He was still coming to terms with the feeling which meant he seriously didn't want to hear the words yet.

******

The date started when Cole and Cloud arrived and saw Tony and Phil already at the restaurant. They greeted each other and ordered. Tony and Phil ordered for two baconator each, Cloud got a chicken nuggets and fries and Cole got his usual: Extra large cheeseburger. What? He was on a date, not a diet.

When the food came around, Cloud laughed, "I would have to say, the three of you eat a lot."

"A man is a man." Tony smiled then bit into his burger.

Cloud rose a brow at him and Cole watched the two boys slowly withdrew from their food. He had that kind of effect. "Are you trying to say that I am not a man?" he asked, seeing that his food was not exactly much.

They shook their heads quickly and Cloud laughed, his expression softening, "Relax, I'm too obsessed over him to be interested in bullying anymore."

"You don't mean that?" Cole gave a dramatic gasp and he rolled his eyes.

"Oh I wish I didn't."

Cole was captivated by his seductive eyes. Even though he was smiling kinda of goofy, Cole could still read the look and it made him blush. He looked away at the other couple and said, "I never knew the both of you were an item."

"Uh, that's because we weren't the last time we met." Phil blushed then took a sip from his Coke.

"I'm in my cheerful mood today so tell us about it. I might be slightly interested." Tames wasn't joking when he said Cloud was rude but he still lo-liked him a lot.

Tony nodded, "Yeah uh we were best friends so it kind of just happened."

"It was after the game, during the bonfire." Phil continued with his pale cheeks slowly turning red, "We helped clean up and then he just told me he loved me out of nowhere."

Cole grinned at Tony who quickly shoved his food down his throat so he won't say anything. So Phil had to continue, "He was probably motivated by the both of you."

"Really?" Cole rose a curious brow at them. "Then why were both of you talking about Kim the other day?"

Tony took a large gulp of his drink and answered, "We wanted her to tell us about the story in the school magazine."

"What story in the school magazine?"

Cloud asked but Cole didn't want him to know so he cleared his throat when they were about to answer and interrupted, "The both of you are such a cute couple."

"Thanks."

"Am I the only one that thinks falling in with your best friend is some form of narcissism?" Cloud said blankly and he frowned at him.

"Why do you say so?" Tony asked seriously.

"I don't know." He swallowed what was in his mouth then took a sip from his drink before continuing, "I just think being in love with your best friend is almost like being in love with yourself."

"But Tony and Phil are nothing alike." Cole countered and he was right. Phil and Tony were really nothing alike. Phil was a cute beach blond boy who could be the definition of skinny...but he was still cute. Tony, on the other hand, was dark skinned and loved to wear a fedora.

If Cloud wasn't here, Tony could be really loud and he loved attention which was probably why he fell for Phil because other than being sweet and a natural darling to everyone, he gave Tony the right amount of attention.

Of course, Cloud wouldn't know that because he spent most of his time pranking them than knowing who they were.

Cole waved his hand in front of the couple and smiled at them reassuringly, "Don't mind him. I think the both of you are perfect."

"If you say so." His boyfriend shrugged.

"What do you mean 'if I say so'? I'm serious, not every best friend is a replica of themselves."

"Dustin and I are the same." He narrowed his brows at him.

"That's the both of you. Mattew and I are completely different. He's sweet, calm and charming. I'm everything but that." Cole froze when he realized who he just used. He mentally gave himself a slap for using him and not Marcus.

Cloud stopped eating and stared at him and for that moment, Cole could only see him and those seductive grey eyes doing their duties to his head. Too mesmerized, he didn't notice when Cloud got closer to him until he felt his breath on him as he said, "You are charming because you were able to get me to fall for you. Calm? I probably wouldn't have noticed you. Your clumsiness excites me. And sweet? I don't want sweet. I need a pervert like you to keep in lease." He fell silent as he searched for something in his eyes, when he looked like he found it, he brightened up and added, "I guess I was wrong."

Cole gasped when he kissed him and that was when he remembered he was in a restaurant filled with straight people.

He closed his eyes tightly because he didn't want to see any one that would make him ruin the moment because right then, he felt like his heart was going to explode.

Cloud pulled away, leaving Cole lightheaded and in need for more but he had to focus. He glanced at the couple in front of him and flushed at their surprised faces. Cole glanced at his boyfriend and saw he wasn't the least bit phased as he ate his chicken nuggets.

However Cole felt like he should just melt be couldn't handle the stares when he looked around.

"Oh my God! You guys are like our role models now. Even though we are out, it still feels weird to hold hands in public." Phil gushed at them.

"I normally think PDA is disgusting whether it is from a gay or straight couple or anything. But that," he sighed, "that was awesome."

Cole blushed harder and then he remembered what Cloud had said and blushed even harder when he realized that they had heard him say it. He really couldn't handle it.

"Thanks. I'm going to the restroom."

He stood to leave and Phil said as he brushed past people to leave, "Why don't you say things like that to me?"

"You're joking. I would have died of embarrassment before I uttered a word."

The cold water felt like a relief as he poured it on his face. He washed his face again then stared at himself in the mirror. Cole just came out...again. That was what it felt like with those people staring at him and again Cloud wasn't disturbed by it.

What kind of bloody man was he?

And he said the reason why he broke up with his last boyfriend was because he refused to come out. How can that be when he was flaunting their relationship to the whole world?

But that didn't mean he wasn't happy. In fact, Cole was so happy he could melt.

Someone came into the restroom and Cole knew it was time to leave. He dried his face and left the bathroom to see that the couple he came on a date with had gone. Cloud saw his puzzled face and answered as he stood up, "They said they had to leave. Who was I to stop them?"

"Since when did people have free will around you?" Cole joked and he scoffed.

They walked outside to find out it was drizzling a bit. Cole frowned at himself for not checking the weather, but who actually does that except Mattew?

"We could take the train to my place. It not so far from the station."

"Sure." Cole nodded quickly and they both ran through the little crowd to the subway. The train got there as they came down and the both of then sharply entered before the door closed on their faces.

"Wow." Cole exhaled in relief then grinned at Cole.

"That was close. Come on."

Cole didn't know where Cloud was taking him to in the crowd of people until he was forced to stand in front of one the poles on the pathway. He stared at it then at Cloud, "Why did you bring me here?"

"The further away from the door the better." He answered just as the train jerked and he tried to stop Cole's fall by rushing behind him and wrapping his arms around his waist, protectively.

Cole knew he was red again and this time not just his face. He tried to steady his breathing then said, "You should let go now."

"Got it." he quickly did so and Cole smartly held on the pole in case of next time.

If there was anything Cole hated, it was the train. He didn't mind taking the bus anywhere but trains? Just no. They were always crowded and when you'd think a lot of people were going to get down at a stop, only a few does. It always frustrated him.

The only good thing about this was that Cloud was right behind him. He hummed when he felt his body press against him as the train jerked again.

"I think I asked before but still, why aren't we in a car or using the bus?"

"I read train rides with someone you like can be very romantic."

"Well does it feel romantic because all I smell is people's sweat."

Cloud remained silent for a while making him worry but when he was about to turn to him, Cloud closed up the space between them. Cole could feel him against his butt as Cloud placed his hand on his where he held the pole. The other slip passed him to hold the pole, completely trapping him in a somewhat embrace.

Cole gasped when he realized he had no where to escape to. He was really trapped there. Then Cloud rested his head on his shoulder and whispered smoothly into his ears, "I love you, Cole."

If a heart attack was so easy to come by, Cole would have dropped dead at that minute.

Oh my god!
