Please not a Triangle
So about everyone, well almost everyone knew about his sexual preference. Jane doesn't talk about it much, Matt mentioned it a few times to piss him off and Cloud, he had been practicing for finals since this was his last year. So they haven't talked in a while.
But that didn't matter to Cole. He had him all to himself tomorrow. He pretty much spent the rest of the daydreaming. The book Cloud bought him, he hadn't even touched it. Anytime he saw the book, it reminded him of Cloud's wonderful chest.
His chest...
"Dude! You are spacing out again." Marcus bumped into him, making Cole fall out of the side walk. They had decided to take a walk to McDonalds which wasn't too far because their parents had gone out for dinner.
"Think we will ever get a junior brother?" Mattew asked, looking at two brothers playing in the park.
Cole pouted from the floor, "Why a junior brother? Aren't I brotherly enough for you? Or wait, you want something like a mini me or Marcus?"
Mattew frowned then leaned down to pull him up. "Mini you? Fine. Mini Marcus? No thanks."
"What? I am the best brother you'll ever have." Marcus scoffed and walked faster than them.
They rolled their eyes then ran up to him. "Come let's get out of here."
They made it to the McDonalds without Marcus flirting with every girl he met on the way. They took the seat by the window while Marcus went to order.
"So you gonna tell him?"
"That what?" Cole asked, resting his back on the chair.
Mattew drummed a beat on the table, "About your sexuality?"
Cole rolled his eyes, "Do I need to tell him how you found out too?"
He stopped what he was doing to look at his friend, "I was just trying to figure out something. There was no real meaning in that."
Cole smirked, "So it shouldn't bother you then." He turned to his friend and leaned closer to him, quietly grinning to himself when he saw Mattew blush, "I'm going to tease you so much, you'll get gay for me."
"You wouldn't."
His hand slid up Mattew's chest and he could see the catch in his breath. "Watch me."
Mattew stared at him but Cole couldn't miss the lust and confusion in his eyes. Oh the poor guy... He quickly pulled away from him just when Marcus came back to sit in front of them with their number.
"So, you ordered my extra-large cheeseburger?" Cole asked, grinning at him.
"You are so gonna pay for that." He said as he played with the card that had their number on it.
"So what should we do tomorrow?" Cole asked, looking out the window.
Marcus eyes glinted, "We should go skateboarding in the mall."
"Nah. I like the mall. They'll ban us." He countered.
"They can't. Kids skateboard in there all the time. I don't see them getting ban."
"What's your suggestion Mattew?" Cole asked teasingly, wiggling his brow only to have Mattew blush slightly.
He looked at his brother and answered, trying his best to ignore Cole, "I think we should go to the museum. I haven't checked out the one that is upside down yet."
"We went to the one that looked like it was falling last month. Museums are to be visited once a year." Marcus deadpanned, literally tossing the idea out the window. Last time they went to the museum, they had left him sleeping on a bench. If the security guard didn't kick him out, he would have been there till the next day.
"Just trying to help."
"Guess it's the mall then." Marcus stated.
Cole just shrugged when they called their number. He followed Marcus to get it, stopping Mattew when he started to move. "Nah-ah. You stay put. Nugget and fries coming up." He winked then strolled to get their food from the counter. Since he was able to pack up his food and Matty's in one tray, he brought them to his table like that. "Nuggets and fries for you, my dear."
"My dear? Seriously?" He tried to feign anger but it just turned into a pout because he blushed.
Jeez, if he didn't like Cloud so much, he would totally continue his teasing act with Mattew to see if he'll fall for him. And that just reminded him of his date.
"I am so sorry guys. I am gonna be busy tomorrow."
"Doing what?" Marcus asked with his mouthful. That boy's got no manners.
"Just stuffs. Let's move it to Sunday? We aren't doing anything on Sunday." Cole said before biting into his meal.
"Boo!" he said nonchalantly then licked his finger.
"Whatever." He rolled his eyes. "Oh and to get this over with, I'm into dicks bro."
The twins choked.
Mattew choked on his drinks while Marcus choked on his burger. Marcus gulped down his drink and Matt just hit his chest a few times then glared at him.
"A little warning next time."
"What do you mean you are into dicks?" Marcus stared at him pale faced. The news must have scared the shit out of him but he didn't want to keep lying to him anymore.
"I like guys."
"You like guys shoving their shit up your butthole?" He asked shamelessly making Mattew choke again.
"Well, if you put it that way-" Cole began but Marcus just shushed him by laughing.
"Dude, that was sick. That was like the best prank you've ever pulled" he said then shoved the rest of his burger in his mouth.
This was obviously the best time to pull back but coming out was the first step to accepting who he was and he wanted to do that. He didn't want to be Cole Morani, the fake straight guy but Cole Morani the awesome gay guy. "I'm serious."
Marcus exhaled. Mattew and Jane so took this information well. He looked at his brother and asked, "You knew?"
"Found out on Wednesday." He shrugged then looked away.
Cole finished his burger then said to Marcus, "I know you are pissed-"
"I'm not pissed at you. No scratch that, I am pissed at you. Why didn't you tell us? We have been friends for three years and it was the last year you decide to come out to us? You were the perfect straight friend. The best I've ever had. Now it's all a lie." He cleaned his mouth with the serviette then stood up to leave.
"Marc!" Cole stood to go after him but Mattew held him back by the hand.
"No. Let him go. It needs some thinking over."
"I wasn't calling him for that. He's to pay today."
Matty let go of him and stared at him, "That's why you are calling him back?"
Cole gave him a duh look and sat back down, "Well, since no one is running after him, you better pray you brought your wallet because I'm broke."
"Really Cole?" Matty gapped at him in disbelief.
He sighed, "No Matt. Was that how you felt too?"
"I uh I was too happy with my victory to care about that."
"It's just that I have been acting like this since my family shunned me. I thought if you guys knew, you'll do the same."
"And did we?" he asked then reached for Marcus' Coke to drink it.
Cole just heaved a sigh again. "You know," he turned to look at Matty, "You were my first real kiss."
Mattew blushed and dropped the bottle, "Never kissed another boy before?"
"No. Been with girls since."
"And did you like it? I mean the kiss."
He laughed at that, "Liked it? Mattew, I loved it. It was way better than my seven seconds in heaven with Amanda."
"You've dated two." He rose a brow.
"I love how you keep count." He wiggled his brow at him then said, "Pay up lets go. I have a Marcus to apologize to."
"Sure." He said dryly as he stood to pay.

"Go away!"
"Come on Marcie. Open up." Cole said the same line six time to Marcus continuous 'go away'.
"No."
"Oh! Something new. Please open up. Let's talk."
"Go away" He said dryly.
"Come on Marcie. Open up."
Marcus growled animalistic from behind the door causing Cole to move a step away from it. "Why can't you just leave me? I want to sleep. We'll talk tomorrow."
"Okay but I need to know exactly why you are mad so I can come up with a reason when we see."
"Cole please just go." He groaned.
As usual, Cole ignored him, "Is it because I'm gay or because I didn't tell you? Or both? Or because I made you choke on you meal? Or I told Mattew first?"
"Cole!" The loud bang against the door made him yelp and run down to Mattew's room for safety.
"Whoa, what happened?" Mattew asked, rolling out of his bed.
"Marcus is a monster!"
"He's like that when he gets mad. He'll cool off by tomorrow. Serve him breakfast in bed." He shrugged. Mattew was already in his PJs but this time, without a top.
He was tempting him.
"Matt, go wear a shirt."
"I plan to sleep without one today." He teased.
Cole's eyes were fixed on that baby, "You are tempting me."
"I know." He winked then came closer to him.
Again, that familiar lust and confusion were clouding those amazing brown orb. There was a recognizable tingle in his chest that he normally felt around Cloud which suddenly left him confused.
He looked away from Matt at nothing in particular. He can't like Matt too. He shouldn't.
Mattew ran his fingers up his arm to rest on his neck, rubbing small circles with his thumb.
"Mattew?" he closed his eyes. Whatever he was doing was making his heart beat faster.
"Cole."
No! No!! No!!! Cloud's supposed to be the only one I feel this for. No please no.
He looked back at his best friend, "Mattew, I'm sorry. I can't."
"What do you mean you can't?" He asked, slowly pulling away from him.
"I already have a thing for Cloud."
"As in Derick the football player?" He asked to be sure but Cole could already see the hurt in those eyes but it was gone the instant he nodded.
Mattew quietly returned to his bed without another word and covered himself. Cole just stood there awkwardly then asked, "Thought you weren't gay?"
"I'm not."
"Then why did you come on me?"
Mattew replied with a middle finger.
"Well fuck you too." He rolled his eyes then went down stairs to get something to drink.
It was already late. The twin's parents normally sleep out on Friday. They dedicate their Friday evenings to themselves. Such a role model couple.
He took a swig from the bottle of water then carried it to the sitting room to watch whatever was on TV.
For once in his life, he honestly didn't want to think of his love life. It was becoming something else. He decided to get out his phone to call someone only to see almost a dozen text from Sid. Cole grunted as he scrolled down fast in annoyance and would've have missed one of the only things that would have kept a smile on his handsome face.
He quickly opened the text to see:
Derick: Hey. Sorry we couldn't hang yesterday or today. Football practice.
Cole quickly checked the time to see when he had sent it. It was like an hour ago, when his battery had died. Oh my poor baby.
Cole: It's fine. Saw you rocking those tights. You go man.
He sent then read the line again. Was that gay?
A reply came almost immediately.
Derick: Ha-ha. Finally! Someone who notice my awesome tight.
Cole grinned. Thank God he didn't call him a stalker. Then he received another text.
Derick: So, where do you wanna go tomorrow?
Cole: Movies' fine.
Derick: Any particular one you want to see?
Was there?
Cole: As long as it isn't a sappy romance, its fine.
Romantic movies only brings out the chick in him.
Derick: Really? °^° Well, I'm a sucker for romance movies.
Oh curse my beating heart.
Cole: Well then. How about That Awkward Moment? Heard it's gonna show Saturday.
It took him a while to answer that even Cole almost thought he was joking.
Derick: Super cool. There's one in the afternoon and night. Which do you prefer?
Cole: Afternoon. Then we could go grab something to eat later.
Derick: Excellent. Pick you up by 4pm. Dream of me.
Cole: Always ^_^
Was that too much? He thought as he went back up stairs. Oh forget that! He's going on a date with Derick Cloud! The Derick Cloud that had haunted his dreams, in a good way, for two years.
Can't wait.

The cold air slapping his body woke him up, freezing. Mattew had kicked him out of the bed at night for trying to take all the blanket and since he fell on the really soft rug he had problems moving.
Cole stood up slowly and walked like the penguin he was to the bathroom to warm up. Damn, that floor was cold.
He dressed up then went down stairs for breakfast because he could already smell the eggs and bacon. "Morning Jane." He called before entering the kitchen to find Mattew cooking and not Jane.
"I don't remember growing a pair of boobs and my hair."
"Your mum isn't that flat too." He joked as he sat down by the counter to watch him.
"So you're checking out my ass huh?" He smiled brightly at him and Cole visibly flinched.
"You are awfully bright this morning. Any good news?"
Mattew dished the food then covered Marcus'. He came to sit beside Cole then said, "Mum sent me enough money so I can go to the museum. So while you and Derick go out, I can head to the museum and not be stuck home alone with Marcus. The pig."
"I heard that." Marcus shouted as he entered the kitchen. He was still in his PJs which meant he hadn't bathed and as the clean freaks Cole and Mattew were, moved a seat away from him when he came to join them with his food. And like the obnoxious idiot he was, he didn't notice. "So, you are dating Cloud?"
"It's just our first date. We aren't anything yet."
"You like him after everything he did?"
"He's nice when you get to know him." He tried then took a bite from his bacon.
"Whatever." He shook his head then took his food and left.
Cole watched him go then turned to Mattew, "What should I do Matty?"
"You didn't serve him breakfast in bed." He joked before taking a sip from his glass of milk.
"It's now you decide to joke?"
Mattew laughed, "Just give him time." He took his plates to the sink then began to wash it, "So it's Derick."
Cole's shoulder sagged when he remembered what happened yesterday. "I'm sorry Matt."
"Stop saying that."
Cole frowned then walked up to him when he turned to leave and pinned him to the wall. "Stop doing this to me Matty. I thought you were damn straight."
"I'm not straight." He said slowly.
"What?" Cole stared at him shock.
"I'm not straight or gay. I don't go by all these damn labels and shit. I like who I want to like."
"But that kiss?"
"I didn't know it would affect me this much." Mattew said, slowly closing up the space.
"Does Marcus know?"
"That's why he doesn't hate you."
"Why didn't you tell me?" Cole asked but Mattew was no longer listening but staring at his lips. Cole couldn't lie and say he didn't want him either but that was where the problem was.
Mattew surprised Cole by walking pass him. Resisting the undeniable urge that was pulling them together. Mattew left him in the kitchen without another word.
Cole was very grateful for that because he had no idea what he'd have done. Now he was stuck there, staring out the window in confusion. He liked Cloud and there was a chance for them but yet he liked Mattew and there was also a chance for them.
Unlike before when his brain normally disses opportunities like the one time he had the chance to have sex with Cloud, this time it grabs at them but not just one but at the two of them.
He liked them both.
"Oh God."

So I was watching The Holiday. I love Cameroon Diaz and Jack black. And oh God did I cry at the end. This is why I watch action movies or movies that involves people dying. You dont get to cry at the end, well not in all but this movie? Gosh, it ripped out my heart. I just loved how they found their perfect one through heartbreaks, flying over to another country and whatever. It was amazing, honestly. If you havent watched it try it and for those of you that have, I hope you enjoyed it the way I did.
Stupid romance movies ^_^
Love ya
