Beach Party
Today was the best day to go to the beach. The sun was shining down on them, the birds chirping a nice tune that had anyone relaxing. The hot sand that was pretty much burning their feet, the sound of the ocean calming them and the sound of people laughing making reality a dream that you will never believe the horrors of it.
Cole Morani, newly graduated with an epic boyfriend, squinted up at the sky, remembering how his story had started. From meeting Henry to getting a boyfriend and his family's acceptance, it was a long three months of his life.
Stretching on the hammock, he was glad to not have the hot sun shining down on him. The trees which held the hammock in place provided shade for him.
"Cole."
Looking away from the nest he had been watching, he followed that familiar voice to his friend, Mattew. He had grown slightly taller since then and it wasn't too awkward to hang around him alone again.
"Cole." He panted as he walked up to him with his puppy tailing behind.
Another reason why it wasn't so awkward to be together was because of his newfound love, Chris. Cole couldn't say they were dating mostly because Mattew doesn't call him his boyfriend but Cole had seen the looks. The long loving ones Mattew always gave Chris when he was absently doing something. Surprisingly, this Chris of a guy was a goof. Goofier that Cole himself. And that made him adorable.
"Cole, will you fucking listen to me?" Mattew smacked him on his forehead, instantly making Cole wince and look away.
"No Matty. That bloody hurts." He whined then got down from the hammock. "Christ, allow me to think."
"I was calling you over and over. Don't you think I have more important things to be using my voice for?"
Cole sighed then walked over to him to throw an arm around his shoulders. Cole ignored Chris' presence then said to Mattew, "So, why did you disturb my peaceful thinking?"
"Oh let go of me." He blushed lightly as he took Cole's arm's off him. "Your pest of a boyfriend was calling you. He's by the green umbrella."
He shrugged and started to leave but stopped when he saw Chris staring at them with his familiar vacant eyes. It was still the only thing about the boy that weirded Cole out. But Cole knew, that underneath the whole cool look, there were eyes that melted before Mattew.
For a tease, he turned back to Mattew and wrapped an arm around his waist, pulling him closer to him and leaving a small kiss on his lips. "See you later Matty."
"Cole..." Mattew trailed off and Cole pulled away noticing the angry vein that was popping on his forehead. He hadn't expected him to be angry. "Cole, I swear if you do that again, I will ask Chris to dock your head in a toilet. And to be as messy as possible."
Cole smirked. "Jeez Matty. I never knew you and Chrissy here were knocking it off. So tell me, who's topping who?"
"Cole you shouldn't." Chris warned, walking past him to stand beside Mattew and rather closely. With his height difference and the way he stared at Cole made him look a protective boyfriend. His vacant eyes were gone but Cole didn't know the emotion twirling in them. However, it was better than seeing those eyes empty.
Cole chuckled at the result of his tease. Now he was sure something was up with the both of them. Raising his hands up in surrender, he smiled at Mattew and said, "Okay, I'm going. You guys keep it safe okay? Mattew, I owe you a sex talk."
"God, Cole!"
And with that, Cole had Mattew chasing him like the last time they had all been at the beach for fun. However, there was a big difference between then and now.
Since it was June, it was Pride month and they were having a beach party. There were bare chested men everywhere, girls making out, fairies sprinkling glitters everywhere, trannies doing their thing.
It was somewhere Cole had always wanted to go and finally, he made it. With his boyfriend.
Cole didn't know how, but he managed to find Cloud in the crowd. After pushing people aside and looking under every green umbrella as Mattew had said. He ran to him, ducking under the umbrella and sitting down crossed legged as Cloud was. He didn't bother about Mattew anymore since there was no way he was going find him in the crowd.
Cloud immediately smiled at him, dropped the phone he had been on and turned to him. "Hey. I was missing you."
Sadly, Cole had his eyes to Cloud's chest since he had forgotten to wear a shirt so he missed the look Cloud was giving him. He grazed his chest ever so lightly with his fingers and smiled. "I missed you too. Had to wait for the parents to leave."
Cole's parents had brought him along with Mattew and his 'boyfriend'. Since the place looked pretty fun, they decided to stay for a while, but then the fairies came and Cole's dad had to leave. He lied and said it was about work but Cole knew better. Not that Cole blamed him. The fairies were middle aged men like he was. He must have felt utterly awkward.
Cole's mum had wanted to stay longer but Jane surprisingly popped up and took her to scout for hot men. Cole had pretended he hadn't heard that and waited for the call from Cloud. Cole had been grounded from seeing Cloud after they had committed fornication on his living room couch and his mother caught them.
"It was totally my fault you're grounded." Cloud sighed and looked away.
"What?" Cole smiled and tilted his head back to look at him. His grey eyes that could still set his blood of fire stared at him and he continued, "I don't mind. We still get to call, text and stuff. Plus, George's open house is coming up and I'm sure you'll be coming."
"Didn't want to but now I gotta." He smiled.
"You better." He scoffed then reached for the small cooler beside Cloud, crossing over him and getting a Coke from it.
Leaning back, he started to open the coke can but got stopped by Cloud who took it from him and kept it back in the cooler. "Not now. Let's go swimming."
"I can't. You know that."
He chuckled. "I don't know that. Come on."
Cloud took his hand and pulled him across beach. Cole decided not to protest and quickly caught up to him. They were heading past the crowd that surrounded the stage. A couple celebrities were on it but Cole had no idea who they were since most were drags.
"Mattew said he was going to kill you if he sees you." Cloud said just when they were out of the crowd.
Cole tried to keep his eyes off the men who would smile or smirk at him as if they weren't seeing Cloud. It was hard, Cole couldn't lie.
"Yeah. I kissed him."
Cloud stopped abruptly and turned to him with a brow raised, "Why? Why would you do that?"
Cole smiled at his cute display of jealousy and waved his hand in his face as a sign of dismissal. "Relax. It's payback for kissing Sidney."
"But Cole-"
"And I didn't let you see. See, it's not that hurtful." He shrugged.
Cloud only frowned then sighed. "Cole, you kissed Mattew. You know he had a big crush -sorry- liked you a lot. What if his feelings come back?"
"It wont."
"How can you be so sure?" He asked angrily, surprising Cole.
The people passing by them, chuckled but Cole ignored it and said, somewhat feeling annoyed by himself for making Cloud angry, "Okay. I'm sorry. I just wanted payback. I didn't know you would take it this way."
Cloud closed his eyes and took in a deep breath as if trying to calm himself down. "When Sidney kissed me, you had been mad about it. Why do you think I would take it any differently? To me, Mattew and any guy who looks at you the way I do is a threat. No, scratch that, any guy who just looks at you is a threat. I get terribly jealous which is one of my bad trait in relationships but I'm trying to control how I feel because I love you and I do not want you to leave me. Please. Please, don't let me get jealous. I cannot lose another good person again."
Cole immediately felt terrible for making him feel that way. He too didn't want to lose Cloud. He didn't know what he would do if that happened and he didn't dare think of it.
"Cloud, I'm sorry. I really really am." He said then threw his arms around his boyfriend, hoping he forgave him.
Cloud's copied him, tightening his own arms around him. "Just please don't do it again. I love you, okay?"
"I know."
Then Cloud pulled away to place a nice, soft kiss on his lips. "Keep that in mind. Now, unto what we are going to do today." He turned and started pulling him again.
Cole rolled his eyes as he caught up to him. "What are we going to do?"
"We are going to jump off that cliff together." He pointed at it and Cole felt his heart beat faster. And that was for fear.
The beach was a lowland that spread for another mile or more, but had started from around where they stood. It was the rougher part of the beach filled with rocks that could be climbed to get to the cliff. However, the good thing about the cliff was that it was surrounded but trees which Cole liked, if he was going to jump off it and into the sea that is.
"Nah ah man. I'm not doing that." That one ride he got on in the amusement ride warned him blood pumping adventures were not for him.
"Oh come on. For me? I promise, our time in the restroom after is going to be worth it." He begged, placing his hands together and making a puppy dog look at him. "Please."
Cole didn't know how he fell for it but it was until he found himself plummeting down with Cloud wrapped around him that he knew he had made a huge mistake.
But no one got hurt. It was all fun and moans right after. Something Cole enjoyed very much.
No one could say if they were going to last or not because Cloud took every moment to let Cole know he loved him and Cole always kept his boyfriend first before anyone else. So who could say ten months or maybe less they would have broken up. Cole honestly didn't care about that. All he cared about was the now.
He had his family, friends and Cloud. What more could he ask for?
"Let me take you." Cole said between pants, looking down at the boyfriend that had just finished sucking him off. They had gone to Cloud's car after the scary drop. Taking their stuffs from the beach, Cole had helped his boyfriend pack his items into the boot then had gotten in to the back seat to have Cloud fulfil what he had promised before his mum could pop out of nowhere and get them together.
Cloud smiled then kissed him up his stomach to his lip where he deepened it and Cole moaned again. He held the nape of his neck when Cloud pulled away to stare at him. They stayed like that for a while and Cole used that moment, to stare at his beautiful face. Derick Cloud sure was beautiful.
He smiled suddenly and said, "Sure."
Cole could only smile as the beautiful boy -sorry- man took Cole's cock in him. They both groaned in pleasure and Cole couldn't stop watching him as he turned them so he could fuck him better.
"You're amazing." Cloud moaned, arching his back so Cole could kiss on his chest.
"I love it when you tell me how much you love me." He whispered in his ears.
"I love you sooo much." He practically shrieked as Cole thrusted deeper into him. "I fucking love you, Cole."
They came together for as long as Cole could have it up. And it wasn't from the constant thrusting. It was from the passionate words they said to one another. Those three words.
Cole finally understood what Payne had said about love as he looked at Cloud's smiling face.
Love was beautiful, just like a butterfly.
"You're my butterfly, Cloud."
THE END
______________________________
Fiona: Wow...
Cole: It ended...
Kim: I'm loving this.
Mattew: Cole...
Derick: Mattew...
Dustin: Don't like this chapter.
Marcus: Me too :(
Fiona, Cole, Kim: Why?!
Dustin: * throws arm around Marcus* Doesn't have us in it.
Fiona: *shrugs* Would you both feel better if I tell you you were both on a date?
Marcus, Kim, Mattew, Derick, Cole: *gasps*
Derick: *glares at Fiona* You wouldn't.
Dustin: *nuzzles Marcus' cheeks* Well, would you look at that. We gonna be BFF.
Fiona: *sips on her OJ* Actually, I lied. But you both can do whatever. Since you both are going to the same college and all. If you do, I want to write about it.
Kim: No. Noooo. Let me write about it. Pleaseeee. Fiona already wrote about Cole and Derick. Pleaseeee.
Marcus: *frowns at both of them then pushes Dustin away* You both... No, the three of you are acting like I swing that way. I'm straight. Do you want me to prove that to you?
Every one falls silent then Marcus gets angry and leaves.
Dustin: *fakes a frown* Now look what you did. *follows him out*
Cole: *whistles* well that was awkward. *turns to Derick* let's leave before they start talking about how stupid I was in the book.
Derick: *nods* Well, I have to leave. I've got football practice.
Fiona: Cole! You've got to sign out first or this book club will just drag.
Cole: *stands* Um, *clears throat* I made lots of mistakes in my past as you have read in my book. I wouldn't say they were failures but something that made me understand myself more. Like, I have an undying need to be accepted in whatever I do. If you read my story then you would know I could do anything to get accepted. Denying my sexuality was something I did for a while. Especially since my family broke because of that.
But like Payne said once to me, life is like a rollercoaster. When you think everything is over, something amazing happens and when you think life can't get any better, it takes a down turn. My life was a rollercoaster and every turn was unexpected. But I got through it, barely, and with my family back together and Cloud still clinging to me. But that was just the first phase of the rollercoaster.
Fiona: Do you think the second phase will be harder?
Cole: No and that's because I have people who I know will ride with me to the end. Bye Fiona, Kim and Mattew.
Three of them waves Cole and Derick away.
Kim: When do you think Cole will realize Cloud isn't his name and that saying he loves Cloud is like saying he loves Derick's family?
Mattew: To him, Cloud is his nickname. Not the family name.
Fiona: Matters not. We shall conclude the book club. *glances at who are left and notices somebody beside Mattew* Hey, who is that?
Chris: Hi
Fiona and Kim forgets he had spoken and concludes the meeting.
Chris: Will they ever notice I exist?
Mattew: *smiles and touches his cheek* Never but I will. You only need me right?
Chris: *nods*
