"Wow, Brother!" Alphonse exclaimed, as they stood in the kitchen at their home. Ed raised an eyebrow towards his younger sibling.

"Huh, what do you mean Al?" He replied in confusion.

"You and Blue Flame! You're an amazing team!" Al replied, admiration for the pair sparkling in his amber eyes. Ed felt his face heat up in embarrassment.

"Come on Al...that happened a week ago...you're still buzzing around about it?" He grumbled. Al giggled.

"Of course! It was awesome!" The older blonde cautiously took out his alchemy tablet, and rolled it over his hand, as he rolled his eyes. He was curious about the piece of stone. "Brother?" Al questioned, stirring the pot of food on the stove. Golden eyes flickered up from the object in his hands to his sibling.

"Hm?" He hummed in response.

"Is something wrong?" Alphonse asked curiously.

"No, not exactly...it's just...the tablet.." Ed replied softly. The younger boy stood next to his brother.

"What about it?" He questioned.

"It's weird....I-I think I forced the transformation." Ed explained. Al looked at him in confusion.

"Huh?" The blonde sighed.

"I didn't transform the right way, ya get it?" He explained. Alphonse slowly nodded.

"Oh..." Edward nodded. He continued flipping the rock in his hand, until he saw something.

"Al, look at this!" He exclaimed, practically shoving the item in his brother's face. Alphonse stared at it, seeing words written in a different language.

"What do you think it is?" He asked.

"Xeresian maybe?" Ed replied.

"Can you read it?" Al asked in confusion.

"I could try..."

Written on the tablet was
"з сілай гэтай таблеткі , я , чырвоны метал заклікаю ўлады філасофскі камень !"

Edward stared at it for a few minutes

. "It's says, 'With the power of this tablet, I, Red Metal call upon the power of the Philosopher's Stone!' Or something like that...." He replied. Alphonse looked at his brother in shock. Suddenly, a bright light and the elder Elric was once again, Red Metal.

"Ed...how did you....?" He asked. Edward shrugged. "I....don't know...." He replied. "I think there's something I have to ask Blue Flame about." He replied. Alphonse glanced at the stove, and was about to reply when the power went out. And it wasn't just the Elric's house. It was the entire city! Alphonse slowly looked over to his sibling.

"Brother....I don't think you have to wait...." He trailed off. Ed snapped his head towards the window, and quickly pushed his chair away before speeding towards the window.

"What the-?!" He exclaimed.

"Do you think...?" Al asked. Ed quickly nodded, narrowing his eyes.

"Al, get the ear piece. I'm heading out." He replied.

"Wait a sec." Al replied, running out of the room, and coming back seconds later, holding two ear pieces.

"Here brother, just be careful" He explained. Ed nodded, accepting the ear piece.

"I'll be back after I stop this guy." He said, before lifting up the window screen and practically leaping out of the window.

"Be careful!" Al exclaimed repeated. Edward had his eyes shut as he felt himself falling. 'I probably should've thought this through.....' Suddenly, someone caught him with chuckle.

"Tsk tsk, Red Metal. You should really learn more about your powers before leaping out of a window." Came the smooth voice of Blue Flame. Ed felt his face heat up slightly, and growled.

"Let go of me bastard!" He exclaimed, flailing his arms. Blue Flame sighed.

"Alright, alright." He replied, however he didn't let go just yet. Ed grumbled a bit.

"Hey, Red, listen up. I'm about to teach you how to use the flying ability." Blue Flame eventually explained. He slowly let go of Ed, now only gripping his hand.

"Focus your alchemy on the ends of your feet. Imagine you're floating on water. Got it?" He questioned. Ed slowly nodded, and did as he was told. Soon enough, his eyes closed, and with a small cloud of red sparks, he was flying around in the air, next to Blue Flame with the biggest grin. Blue Flame felt himself smile a little.

"So, any clue what's going on this time?" Edward finally asked. Blue Flame looked at him. "I think Greed used a vacuum or something to zap the electrical wiring from the city." He explained. Ed nodded.

"So, we find the vacuum and then beat the ever living crap out of it?" He questioned. Blue Flame laughed softly.

"If you'd like to think of it that way, yes." He replied. Red Metal slowly nodded, and his eyes narrowed a bit.

"I think I found it." He suddenly stated, pointing towards a small figure. Because of this, he wobbled a bit, and Blue Flame acted quickly, pulling Edward towards him.

"You better wait to point at things until you're more experienced with flying." He chuckled. Ed rolled his eyes in reply.

"Shut up. Just fly over there dumbass!" Ed exclaimed in response. The raven teen nodded, and listened to Ed's plea. Before they could land, Ed pushed himself off of Roy's chest, flipping successfully before landing on both feet, on the roof where the giant monster stood.

"Red Metal!" Blue Flame exclaimed, following after him. The two stood on the roof top, and Edward quickly assessed the situation.

"It's sucking the charged electrons from the electricity..." The blonde stated, making Blue Flame look at him.

"Huh...?" He asked.

"The vacuum....that's the source of the black out." Edward explained.

"It's a good explanation." Alphonse cut in. The raven nodded.

"Alright. Let's do this then." He stated. The monster roared, flailing its arm towards the two heroes. They both grunted, jumping over it.

"Go left!" Ed exclaimed. Blue Flame looked at him.

"No, I'm going right!" He shot back.

"What?!" Edward yelled at him.

"Focus you two!" Hawk exclaimed scoldingly. The Blue Flame sweat dropped, and this gave the monster just enough time to send him, and Ed flying into a wall. Ed let out a grunt as he made contact with the stone, and Blue did the same.

"Alright, let's finish this!" Ed growled, glancing at Blue Flame. The raven nodded in agreement, and flames began dancing around his feet as he dashed forward, jumping up into the air, and swinging his leg to kick the vacuum monster square in the face. While it was in a daze, Ed came up behind, following up Blue's attack with his auto mail arm, blue electricity sparking around it.

"Go back to where you belong!" He exclaimed, hitting it towards the ground. It laid there, twitching for a few moments, before a black cloud hung over it, turning the vacuum back to normal. Ed looked over to Blue Flame, grinning. "Well, I think that's all."
