"You son of a bitch." Cory yelled then tackle KD to the ground.

He send punch after punch to his face.

No one said or do anything because what KD did was straight wrong. Sky nor Kenny raised KD to be a rapist.

"Get off me!" KD yelled, but Cory was enraged. He want KD to feel his pain of what he felt when Amber wasn't there.

"You sick son of a bitch." Cory said with every punch.

He kept punching him until he knocked KD unconscious.

He move away from KD.

"Never in a million years someone I look up too, would do something so low as that. Trying to rape my baby mother. My girlfriend. I just can't wrap my head over the fact that KD would this to me y'all." Cory said in a low voice.

"What hurt me the most is he sat in my face and lied to me about it at first. That's low man. I have nothing else to say to him. He's dead to me. No family of mine, would do that. Aunt Sky, Unc Ken thanks for letting me stay here, but this my last night here. I rather be homeless then to be anywhere near KD.  I hope it's okay if Amber stays." Cory said and got up.

"All that made a nigga hungry as hell." Cory said.

He walked up to the room he was using while there. He begin to pack his clothes.

Amber walked in.

"Hi." She greeted him.

"Wassup." He said without looking at her.

"You know if you leave here , I'm leaving too." Amber said to him, getting her bags that's already pack.

"No you not. Where you going to sleep?" He asked her.

"With you duh. I have enough money to put us in a hotel for a while, plus I know you still have money on your black card. We could build a house." Amber said.

What Amber said did made sense to Cory.

"You right. Let's do that. But baby you have to do something about your face. That shit look bad." Cory laughed, then got angry again.

"I should of killed his ass." He growled out.

"No you shouldn't. That's family." Amber said walking over to him.

She looked into his eyes.

"Regardless of what he tried to do to me. That's your family. You are going to always need him. KD just lost right now. When I looked into his eyes today, it wasn't the same eyes I know from high school." Amber said.

"It doesn't matter what kind of eyes that nigga got. His hands shouldn't be no where near you." Cory said.

"That I can understand. But maybe something is wrong with him."

"Nothing wrong with that muthafucka but a bruise ego and pride. He's mad because of the fact he keep making dumb decisions. That's all too that."

"You ever heard of a bad apple of the family?" Cory asked her.

Amber nodded her head yea.

"Well that's KD ass. Not Keenan. Keenan knows what the hell he be doing when he do. KD just do that shit for attention." Cory said bitterly.

"Well let's hurry up and pack. I'm hungry." Amber said.

Cory looked at her.

"Girl you better take your ass in the kitchen and feed my child. Before I beat you with a spoon." He laughed.

"A spoon Cory really?" Amber gave him a smile.

"What you rather a spoon or belt?"

"I'll take that spoon."

Cory laughed.

"I thought so." He smacked her ass.

"Ugh Cory." Amber rub her butt.

"Don't "ugh Cory" me. Go eat." He said.

Amber left out the room. Cory sighed deeply.

Lil C entered the room.

"Lemme talk to you for a min Cory." He said then say on the bed.

"Yes sir." Cory said on the bed too.

"How the hell you became an alcoholic?"

Cory shrugged.

"I don't know it just happen."

"Nah nah it didn't just happen. What drove you to drink?" Lil C asked him.

"Tam." Cory said softly.

"Why you just won't cut that girl loose Cory?" Lil C shook his head.

"It's hard dad. I still love her." Cory said honestly.

"It's okay to love her Cory. But that girl have did nothing but cause you pain. Just let her go."

"That's what I'm trying to do. But do we really have to kill her?" Cory asked Lil C.

"Hell yeah we have to kill her. That girl cause you too go into a coma with your drinking." Naenae stepped into the room.

Nobody played with her baby boy.

"Mom Tam didn't made me pick up a liquor bottle. That's on me."

"Well her ass drove you to it. I be damn if you go back to her Core. I refused to let you ruin your life. Your dad don't know how to beat your ass, but I do." Naenae said.

Lil C looked at her.

"Nae you dont even beat his ass." Lil C said..

"Duh I know. Beat his ass with the silent treatment." Nae folded her arms.

"But you talk back to him two mins later." Lil C lifted an eyebrow.

"Shut up C. I'm talking to my son, not big daddy."

Lil C grinned.

"Call me big daddy again." He said.

Naenae blushed.

"Big daddy." She giggled.

"Uhh eww. My ears are bleeding." Cory yelled.  "Y'all to old for that."

"Never." His parents said at the same time.

"But seriously. Cut her loose." Lil C said and left.

Naenae went to sit on the bed. Cory laid his head on his mom shoulder.

"Why is it so hard to let someone go you care deeply about?" He asked his mom.

Naenae thought hard and long about it.

"I don't know honestly. After all your father put me through. I'm still hanging in with him. After 20+ years. Everybody not meant to be in your life Core. Tam-Tam was a sweet girl yes she was, but she slide on your Cory. She slide, only because YOU wanted to take it slow with her. She choose to let you walk out, every time she called you was right there. She knew she could do those things to you because you have a soft spot for her. Don't be a fool Core. Show her you don't need her. If it meant to be for y'all to be together then go for it." Naenae stood up.

"Nah I don't want her. I want Amber." Cory said. "I just care deeply for Tam, she was my heart, Amber and my child is my heart and soul." Cory said then looked at his mom who has tears in her eyes.

"Good choice son." She said.

Cory stood up and gave his mom a tight hug.

"I love you son."

"I love you too ma."
