Neve POV

Nervously I wait in the bathroom as Damian gets things ready for my shower. He smiles at me softly as he places the chair in the shower, then turning to me he places a hand on each arm of my chair and leans down to me a little.

"Are sure about this?" He asks softly "we don't have to, we can wait"

"I want to" I say placing my hand on his cheek "I want to try"

Nodding he stands up and removes his clothes before scooping me up. He carries me into the shower and sits on the chair placing me on his lap with my back to him.

"Alright tell if you feel this" he says softly as he smoothes his large hand over my bare lower stomach "anything?"

"Yes, I can feel that" I smiles leaning my head back against his shoulder

"You're shaking are you nervous baby?" He asks kissing my cheek

"No its just been a while since you've touched me" I say "I had almost forgotten how good it feels"

He presses his lips softly to my neck and I can feel him smiling against my skin. I close my eyes to allow myself to get lost in all the sensations he is creating with me. Then it happens.........his thumb finds my clit and its almost like a bolt of lightening shoots through my body.

"Oh my......." I gasp as my breathing quickens

"Hmmm I guess you can feel that?" He chuckles

"Oh yes" I breathe

As though he senses what I need he begins to rub faster circles bringing me closer and closer to the edge until finally I find my release. But then I realise the feelings I would normally have in my legs aren't there and it seems a little strange.

"Are you ok?" He asks

"Yeah..its just.....I couldn't" I stutter

"You felt it where it was important and that is what matters" he says "the rest will follow in time, now let's get you washed up before you're mom gets back" he says kissing the side of my head

Damian POV

As I crouch down to dry Neve's legs I can't help but glance back up to her. Her gaze is intently on her legs woth a hint of frustration that she can't feel my touch yet.

Putting down the towel I gently lift her leg and begin to kiss up the inside of it but she stops me.

"Baby don't.......I can't feel it" she says and when I look up there are tears in her eyes

"Hey, don't get upset you will feel it soon enough" I soothe as she I wrap my arms around her and she sobs on my shoulder

"I want to feel your touch so much" she says

"Then that is what you need to use to drive you to get better" I say "make that your goal and I will do everything I can to help........I love you"

"I love you" she sighs

Neve POV

Silently Damian helps me to dress before scooping me up and carrying me back downstairs.

His words stuck in my mind, he was right I had a reason to want to get better. I wanted to do everything I could to make it happen and I wanted to do it for him.......the man I love.

As he carries me down the stairs I gaze at his side profile taking in his tanned skin, deep brown eyes and full lips and I'm suddenly hit with a realisation.

This man is everything I had ever wanted, he was and still is my future. So I was going to set myself two goals, one to get the feeling back in my legs and get walking again and two celebrate my succes in the most perfect way possible.

"You ok? You're very quiet mi amor" he asks

"Yes I'm fine" I smile as I nuzzle into his neck "I was just mentally setting my goal, I'm going to make you a promise that I am going to do everything I can to get myself back on my feet"

"I think you mean we" he chuckles "we are going to do this together, I'm going to help in anyway I can even if it's just being support"

Damian sits down on the couch keeping me on his lap. I snuggle into him as best I can and he wraps his arms around me.
He puts the TV on for background noise while I just listen to the sound of his heart beat.

"We are going to be ok you know" he says softly "we're together now and noting is going to come between us again"

As I look up at him he leans down to me and lightly presses his lips to mine, as I kiss him back all I can think is I can't wait for the day I'm back on my feet because it is going to be the happiest day of my life.
