Damian POV

Walking through the backstage are for the first time after the Christmas I felt different. I was walking tall, my head held high and a permanent smile on my face and I knew it was because I had had an amazing five days with Neve and we had made a decision that would mean no more sneaking around.

I was going to be able to will up to her and kiss her infront of everyone and not have to worry about the consequences.

Taking a deep breath a breeze happily into the Judgment Day locker room.

"Good morning everyone, did we all have a good break?" I smile and they all look at me like I've grown a second head "fantastic, well I had a good break too thank you for asking" I say putting my bag down.

"Who are you and what have you done with Preist?" Rhea asks

"Yeah man what's with the drastic change in mood" Finn asks

"Oh nothing I just got to spend some quality time with my girl that's all" I smile

"Girl? What girl? We didn't know you had a girl?" Dom asks confused

"Yeah we've been together almost six months did I never tell you?" I ask

"No you didn't. Who's the lucky girl?" JD asks

"It's uh....it's Neve" I smile "man she is incredible"

"Neve? Are you serious?" Rhea asks

"Dead serious" I say my smile never fading "look I know you're not keen but I'm going to be honest with you I.......I love this girl and I think I found my one"

"Oh you're good" Rhea grins as the others stare at me "you are a genius"

"What are you talking about?" I ask

"Your plan, it's perfect" she says "you date her, get close to her and get inside information that can help us. The when the time is right you tell her the truth and break her poor little heart"

"No that's......." I begin but stop myself when a thought occurs to me, if Rhea believes this is what I am doing then she will leave us be, and nothing will happen to Neve "that's exactly what I'm doing"

"I knew you had it in you Priest" she smiles "welcome back, now we have a war games match to plan for"

Neve POV

Placing my stuff down in the locker room I let out a soft sigh. We had only parted meer moments ago but I already missed him so much. I missed feeling him close, I missed being in his arms, I missed everything about him.

"Knock knock can I come in?" Cody calls through the door

"Sure come on in" I call back and smiling Cody enters the room

"How was your Chrstimas?" He smirks

"Perfect" I smile "you know I think.........no I know that I love him"

"Have you told him?" He asks and I shake my head "you should, never pass up an opportunity to tell someone you love how you feel you never know if you will get the chance again"

"I will" I smile "so what can I do for you?"

"Glad you asked, Pearce had arranged a war games match to end the fued with Judgment Day. Seems he's as fed up of it as I am" he chuckles "anyway Rhea has insisted she takes part with the guys so I wanted to ask if you would be on my team?" He asks "you don't have to I just wanted you to know you were my first choice"

"I'm flattered but I've never been in one of those I wouldn't want to let you down" I say

"You wouldn't, I know you are capable and I know you can stand your ground against Rhea" he says "I want people I trust on my team and there is no one I trust more than you" he says holding out his hand

I look at my best friend intently reading his expression, one of warmth and faith.....faith in me and my ability to make the right choice, the sensible choice. Faith that I won't let my heart rule my head.

"Alright deal" I smile shaking his hand "but you know he won't be happy with this"

"Welcome to the team" Cody smiles "don't worry, he'll understand and just like you he's sensible and won't let his heart rule his head"

"I hope so because I have just chosen to go against him in War Games" I chuckle nervously "I just hope he sees it for what it is.......work"

"He will" Cody smiles pulling me into a hug "I'll text you the time and place for the run through of our plan"

"Great see you later and give my love to Brandy and Liberty" I call after him.

Cody nods with a smile before leaving my locker room and for a moment the room falls silent as my choice finally sinks in, all too soon the silence is broken by my door being flung open and bouncing back off the wall before closing as Damian looks at me.

"What was he doing here?" He asks
