Mitch's POV:

He picked me up bridal style and he started dragging me back towards my village.

"Jerome what are you doing".

"Taking you back"he said.

I could hear him holding back tears.

"Why.What have I done".

"You did nothing wrong.Its only been two days and you've already gotten hurt twice.Its my fault and it shows that I cant protect you.Your village can protect you".

"Jerome he will kill me!Literally!My father will. I snuck out a long time ago and I was gone for 1 day.When I went back he beat me.Hes not abusive but if go out and came back late or sneak out.He will beat me.He said if I did it again he would kill me... literally".

I just sat there in silence for a while as he kept walking.

"If you take me back.It was nice knowing you Jerome.I love you"I said as a tear slipped down my cheek.

"Mitch..."he said as he stopped at almost the edge of the village."Is that true what you just said".

"Every single word".

He sighed."Fine.But if something happens to you or you get hurt your coming straight back.Got it".

"Yes bacca sir"I said laughing.

He started laughing too.He turned around and started walking back. Hoping everything else will go perfect.
