Mitch's POV:

My eyes open and close slowley. More than they already were. Where am I? I looked around and I was laying on the ground. My hands were tied behind me back and I was laying on my stomach. I groan in pain from my stomach and I felt something rough, but soft on my face. Grass? I heard laughing and I turned onto my back, to look up while biting my bottom lip.

"Looky who's awake finally".

I looked confused and got sat up from fluffy arms. Jerome? I looked around me and it was a couple of baccas. None of them were Jerome. They were all smirking with a weapon in their hands. I actually felt a little better. Cause I slept or "slept" for a while?

"What do you want with me? Where am I"?
They smiled and one kneeled down in front of me. He raised my head up with his index finger. I clenched my teeth and he smirked.

"Wonder if this will get Jerome back to our side"he mumbled.

He let his claw poke out of the tip of his finger and he scratched my cheek. Making me yelp a little and he grinned at that and then wiped the the blood falling down my cheek with his clawed finger and licked it off his fur. He stood back up and one grabbed me by the arm roughly and made me stand up. He pushed me, a grip still on my arm, and made me continue to walk. I was looking down at the ground. What's gonna happen?

Jerome's POV:

I groan as I opened my eyes. My hands were tied behind my back and I was sitting up against a tree. The tree that me and Mitch were hiding in. I heard mumbling and I looked up from the ground. What the?

"Well~ well~ well~ Look who's awake. Rise and shine furball".

Humans? What do they want? The one that talked kneeled in front of me and grinned. Grabbing my chin and making me look at him with narrowed eyes. Then I realized something, but didn't show it.

"What did you do with Mitch"!?

They raised an eyebrow and their teeth gritted tightly.

"We're thinking about the exact same thing. You baka (stupid or idiot in Japanese) baccas kidnapped him and we know it. When the baccas and humans go into war tomorrow morning, will give you back to the baccas when they give us back Mitch. Then we'll just kill you and your father during the fight and if Mitch has one scratch on him then we'll kill all of you and burn down your village. Women and children baccas or not in their houses and huts"the man spat.

My eyes widen and I moved my foot and kicked him in the shin. Hearing a snap as he fell to the ground screaming. I smirked and looked up to get a punch to the face. Making me wince in pain. Then one sits next to me and watches me as everyone else goes into tents that were set up all around the forest area. There's gonna be a war?
