✓ Kyojuro POV

Silence.

That's what was between us. He hasn't spoken to me,not even spared a glance. Did he forget? And why am I kinda hurt?

We continued to walk down the path to the village that reported demons. "Man,I hope we run into a moon." He said his first words. 'Thank God the silence was uncomfortable' "Y-Yeah hopefully."

"Kyojuro?" He stopped in hiss tracks with a serious face. "When do demons come out?" 'Why the hell would he ask such a dumbass question?' "At night, ya know when the sun goes away."

"Then we have time!" He grabbed my hand pulling me towards what looked like a restaurant. 'A restaurant in the middle of the forest?' "Im starving."

We both sat at a table. I fumbled with my fingers nervously under the table. A waitress the came to us. "What will you be having?" She asked with a smile.

"I'll just have some dango."

"Kyo aren't you gonna order?" He asked winking at me. His eyes then flashed. 'Was he trying to tell me something?'

"Y-yes I'll order sweet potato, boiled!" I smiled. "It'll be here in a sec." She left. "There's a demon." Uzui said pulling out his bombs.

"The sense is vague,it's a little hard to sense." I told him grabbing my sword. We then walked out of the restaurant and stood at the front of the door. "But it's the middle of the day."

"Uzui can you hear it?" I asked. "No,and could you calm down your hearts pounding." He leaned against the wall of the restaurant. "Is something the matter?"

My face lit up. "U-Umm no just......a little tired." My heart started to hurt. 'Was he not interested in me?' "Good because we can't have you slowing us down."

'Was he just interested in my body?'

"I'll asked for Kamado to come take care of this demon,we still have ours to take care of." I said passing the message onto my crow. "Yeah,I'll get our order on the go." He left.

"Lord Kyojuro?" My crow spoke up. "I'm fine,just give my boy Kamado the message." The black bird then flew away.

¶Timeskip

We stood in front of two giant gates. The were designed with wine red paint surrounding a gold dragon image. "Wow! What a flamboyant village!" Tengen smiled. "Yeah apparently more flamboyant than the guy you seduced."

"You said something Kyo?" He asked about walk in. "No.....just let's get this mission over with I'm tired." I internally rolled my eyes.

"Right!"
