"I don't want to hear a poem or a song Tai. I just want to be left alone. Can't you at least do that for me"

Tai sadly shook his head.

"I can't let you go, can't you see I haven't stop thinking about you and us. What do you want me to do that could make all this better?"

Caroline shook her head with a fake laugh as she crossed both her arms over her chest.

"You want to make me feel better? Okay then why don't you get me a boat? And then maybe two big bags of cash? Then, then I'll be happy. Lots of money and lots of stuff! Other people want idiotic crap like getting married or having babies with the man that they've loved for years, but not me Tai.”

"You don't mean that, Caroline that was our dream"

"Well that ship has sailed, I'm not the same person"

She said as she was about to walk away. Tai angrily look back to her.

"Why can't you love me!"

He yelled causing Caroline to stop and look back to him slightly.

"...I did"

She said sadly as she turn to face him.

"If you love me like you say you do then their shouldn't have never been a reason why you had to choose at the wedding in the first place"

"We can start over. Please give me another chance"

"Why should I? Plus if we were to start over what would be different this time?"

Tai thought for a moment before looking into her eyes as he got closer to her.

"It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you. There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do. I'm gonna take some time to do the things we never had. Caroline I love you and this time I know what I want, I want you"

He said sincerely as he gently grab her hand in his. Caroline looked to their linked hands and let out a sigh as she removed her hand and took a step back.

"If I let myself go down that road with you again, then I'll lose myself, myself respect, my dignity, my future and my last ounce of strength. I can't do this anymore not with you. I mean it when I said I'm done with you. Now leave me alone"

She said finally walking away from him. Tai sadly look to her retreating form but quickly looked to his surrounding.

'She can't be alone at night. It's not safe'

He thought as he quickly catch up to her.

"Caroline wait"

He said cutting her off.

"Don't follow me"

She said in boredom.

"At least let me walk you home, please if something happens to you knowing that I could have done something to prevent it, I would feel guilty"

Caroline thought for a moment before looking around in the dark and let out a sigh in defeat knowing very well it's not safe to walk alone in the night.

"Fine"

"Great"

They walked together in silence until they finally reached to her apartment. As they reached the door, Caroline punched it in anger causing Tai to frown in confusion as she let out a sigh before looking to him.

'Damn it! I hate my good nature'

She thought.

"Can you spend a night? I won't feel comfortable for you to leave and walk home by yourself at night"

Tai was surprise at the request and gently smile as he nodded.

"Sure"

"Alright then"

She said as she open the door inviting him in. She removed her shoes and took off her jacket hanging it up in a nearby closet.

"You're best friend is waiting for you"

She said as she made her way to the kitchen. Tai frown as he took off his shoes by the door.

"Best friend?"

"The couch"

She motion as she got herself a drink and finished it off as she placed it in the sink.

"I have some extra clothes for you"

"Really?"

"Yeah, give me a sec"

She said as she headed to her bedroom and grab some clothes for sleepwear, handing it to him. Tai was surprise that it was actually his clothes that he was missing.

"Did I leave these here?"

He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No, Kari gave them to me"

She stated simply.

"After what happen between us, we remain in contact. She had this plan to get us together but I wasn't cooperating. She gave me your clothes because she had a plan to send you out in the rain to run an errand and I was suppose to bump into you and invite you to the apartment but I never showed up"

She said as she made her way to sit on the love seat as Tai sat across from her on the couch.

"Yeah, I remember that day I got sick"

"Well that's what happen. I could have got rid of these clothes but I wear them a couple of times because they were comfy"

"I am curious on something about you. How did you manage to hack on to Izzy's computer. I mean he's like the computer genius here"

"I have my ways. Besides that's none of your business of what I do"

She said simply before standing up and headed to another closet and handed him a blanket. Tai smiled in gratitude.

"You know this is the first time we ever spoken without arguing"

Caroline scoffs as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"The arguments starts because of you"

"Yeah but..."

"Just forget it. I don't want to get into this right now. It's just one night and then your gone by morning"

"Thanks"

He said softly.

"Don't mention it"

She said before heading to her bedroom. Tai got changed to his clothes and went to sleep on the couch.

*Few Hours Later*

Tai slowly stirred awake as he felt a slight weight on top of him, he open his eyes in surprise to see Caroline wearing a sexy light purple lingerie as she straddle him.

"Caroline?"

He said as she leaned towards him and kiss him lightly on the lips before going down to his jaw and then to his neck then to his ear.

"I want you to take my virginity"

She whispered.
