Princess Aereum silently stared at the white board in utter disbelief.

In one place, there was an enormous, well-made plan written on a white board. It was evident that Ozul Vex had cooked up this plan for a long time so that nothing goes wrong. And unfortunately, everything till now worked according to his plan.

The whole spaceship was filled with guardians, it no longer looked like the ship of the demon. As there was no sign of him or his fairy at all.

Jungkook first spoke up to break their immense tension, “God, that bastard wrote a thesis on how to damage the shield. The fact he explained everything to Fairy Ella and she escaping our suspicions, completely even did it month after month.”

Ozul Vex prepared many plans actually. But every plan had some faults or bad results. So he created one mastermind plan that had no flaws.

“Look, he even knew about the mission. It appears as if he wanted them to go on a mission.”

“Can't believe everything was planned.” Hoseok sighed sadly.

Aereum didn’t expect the demon would be twice clever than she thought. Now it feared her if they'll be able to defeat him or not.

She turned towards Seokjin whose arm was being bandaged by Yoongi. He seemed the most worried and anxious one here but he chose not to show his weakness.

“Did you figure out what Ozul wants from you and her?”

He shifted his eyes from the ground to her and nodded slowly. He told her everything in short about the dream travel because that's the only common power both of them share.

One by one, everyone’s eyes were widened in unexpected news. They had no idea a power like that could exist in guardians.

Except for the princess.

“Why didn’t you tell me before?” Aereum asked sternly.

“I didn’t find the need.”

“Do you know, Kim Seok Jin, that dream travel holds two valuable powers?”

He was confused so she explained, “It has the power to escape everyone's eyes, attention; also it has the power to gain thousands of immortal magical strengths. The earth, air, water, fire all will help him when he intends to use it.”

Seokjin was speechless after hearing her. All along he thought it was a blessed gift to him and Yoon Min for no reason. Who knew it had a dark side? So that's what the demon wanted. The ultimate power to destroy everything.

A guardian walked inside the crowded room, “Princess Aereum?”

She turned to him to hear his words.

“We cannot find Ozul Vex or the fairy anywhere. It looks like they left the ship.”

Fright and panic took over their minds as Taehyung asked to no one particular, “And go where?”

His important question caused everyone to stand up and look at each other with fear. Ozul already had Yoon Min's dream travel power. If he wanted, he could demolish anything and wreck through any elements. It's necessary to know his presence or else, things will be gone before they realize it.

Above all, Aereum realized everything and released a frightened gasp for the first time of her afterlife. The senior guardians all looked at her, surprised and worried. They waited for her to say because even though they had a slight guess, they just didn’t want it to come true.

She looked at the others and in a whispering voice, she let out,

“Love Universe....”

“Is she alright!?” Yian struggled to run through the large crowd of guardians and fairies. The whole universe was alarmed by their comeback with the lost guardian. They just had to see her and all were gone to shock seeing her poor state.

She gasped to see her friend, almost dead.

“W-wait..is she even--”

“Even if she is, we'll try to bring her back.” Beomgyu replied sternly, making everyone gossip about his protectiveness towards her.

Baekhyun made himself present in the crowd, “Let's go. Guardian Myeong Jo has prepared her bed.”

He nodded and carried the almost dead guardian to a safe room.

Upon entering the room, Myeong Jo almost went into shock before approaching towards them,

“Oh my God, Yoon Min! What happened to her?!”

Beomgyu made her lay down on the soft bed and covered her with a blanket.

One by one, guardians started filling inside the room. Some wanted to help genuinely while some just wanted to watch a drama.

The girls mostly sat around her and began warming her with whatever they had. Warm water, warm soaked cloth, even Sung Rin thought to use a hairdryer but chose not to because it might look stupid. Her body was ice cold and showed no sign of melting down.

“She's like an ice cube! What are we gonna do?” Koushi asked her friends.

Beomgyu answered instead, “Just keep trying. She was worse before. Believe it or not, the temperature of her body increased a little while bringing her back. Just keep warming her.”

Myeong Jo quirked her eyebrow up and asked, “And what are we gonna do about her not breathing?”

There was no answer that anyone inside the room could give. Knowing there's half possibility that she's dead already, yet they just kept a little hope inside them to see her open her eyes again.

Suddenly there was a loud, vulgar noise, that rang though everyone’s ears and pained them.

Everyone panicked and glanced at each other for an explanation. Beomgyu looked out through the window and his eyes widened to see, that a ferocious laser was being struck upon their shield.

“ATTACK!! EVERYONE RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!”

It took one scared person to yell a nonsensical thing and everyone just started to run away while screaming in fear and dread. Terror hit upon the universe as all were escaping to save their lives.

Baekhyun was already outside and saw a full view of what was going on. From a horrifying spaceship, someone was shooting a heated laser on their shield. The shield however was built strong. It won’t be broken that easily.

He received a beeping sound from his earbud so he responded immediately,

“Baekhyun-ssi! Is Ozul Vex there?!” it was Nam Joon speaking.

Not in a million thoughts did he guess it was that freaking demon!

“He's attacking on the universe!”

Nam Joon answered confidently, “Don't panic. The shield is unbreakable. It will take some time for it to fully get destroyed. Take everyone to a safe spot and keep yourselves protected until we get there!”

With that, he hung up their communication. Baekhyun acted according to the order and took immediate steps to push every resident to a certain place.

Meanwhile, all ships that were at the demon's residence were already on the way to the universe. It seemed like the fear itself feared their brave hearts.

Princess Aereum was with the senior guardians since they were the one doing the most important tasks.

“Ozul Vex has yet to take Seok Jin's power. So with whatever he has, it won't be enough to destroy the universe. I'm guessing he can at least pierce through the shield and kill the residents over there.”

The others nodded and thought for a plan.

Hoseok looked through the documents and explained, “From what information I received, there is another large spaceship in front of the universe and shooting lasers.”

Jimin added quickly, “So our significant step is to enter inside that ship.”

After a long time, Seokjin cleared his throat which caught everyone's eyes and glanced at him patiently.

He with his own theory spoke, “Fairy Ella is mostly to control that ship now. We need to wipe her out first.” he glanced at Jungkook, “Can you do it?”

The young senior guardian tilted his neck sideways and tightened his knuckles, causing his bones to crack and show his muscular strength. “Leave it to me.”

Seokjin smiled a little and continued, “As for Ozul Vex, he will approach us once we make our presences aware nearer his spaceship. He will probably use his power to slay all of us.”

With a pause, he put more importance on this, “But remember, if we try to fight him, we'll be stepping into our own death beds. We have to keep escaping his attacks until some guardians will sneak inside his ship.”

Taehyung raised his hand, “Fairy Ella will be the only one inside. Why the need for many guardians?”

He glanced at the younger and said an interesting point, “You're forgetting one thing, Taehyung.”

“The real Ozul Vex will be sleeping all the time.”

“Take in mind that he will be in his dream travel. His body will be sleeping somewhere inside the ship and his soul will be the one doing everything outside. There’s no benefit by attacking on his soul unless we harm his body first.”

“Once we harm his body, his soul will eventually return to his body and that's the chance the Princess will take to kill him forever.”

The senior guardians nodded with a positive smile. Somehow, there was this hidden hope that everything will be like they planned. That they will finally be able to clean the evilness off their lives.

Seokjin wanted everything either to go as slow as possible or as fast as possible. He didn’t want to stand before the demon again. For now, he held inescapable power and he could lose his life in a blink of an eye.

But no matter what, time waits for none.

He found himself and their ships flying towards the large spaceship which was currently busy creating a hole through their shield. It would take a few more minutes for it to finally get pierced.

Seokjin was ordered to stay away from the battle. As much as he wanted to fight too, but he himself knew he was a threat to the others.

He couldn't let Ozul Vex attack him and take his dream travel power.

He stayed inside his own little ship behind a floating rock and watched as the other spaceships in which his beloved friends and brothers were; marching forward fiercely. As they planned, Ozul came out from the ship who looked more unbeatable and uglier than before. It was clear he was within the power.

Seokjin was calm and cold, yet afraid. He won't be there to protect his brothers. What if he loses them? What if the plan they created flops? He watched as Ozul released his mighty powers and shot different force every time. There was still that evil, nasty grin on his face that he just wanted to punch it out of him.

Fear took over his whole body and numbed him so much that he wasn't able to control his fingers and feet from shaking. Anxious to watch more, he closed his eyes and looked away from the scene. The fear he felt right now was incomparable to other times as this time, he feared for everything. The universe getting destroyed, his fellow mates surviving out there, the demon lashing his strength, Yoon Min still unconscious, he standing as a threat...

Panic paralyzed him as he shut his eyes tight in order to calm his nerves.

Opening his eyes, he no longer found himself inside the spaceship. He was at a familiar, grand library. It was a sweet afternoon inside the universe as lovely scent of flowers and sweet chirpings of little birds were in harmony. He had a book displayed in front of him on the reading table; it was already half-way through. Glancing around, his gaze fell upon a presence beside him.

He saw her reading her book immensely with no pause.

Seokjin remembered this moment. He realized it was just a memory he was seeing to calm his uneasiness. A memory of theirs just a few days ago.

“Come and sit close to my coffin. And whisper in my ears that you love me and make my heart beat again one last time even after I die.”

She read out a line from her book for him to hear.

“Do you think it’s possible?”

He wanted to take her in his arms but his next words just tumbled out of his mouth,

“Yeah, maybe.” and he returned to read his own book without him controlling. Then he realized everything will repeat like in the memory. He cannot change any of it except to feel the same moment again.

A few seconds later, he heard her saying softly, “I want to believe in it.”

Seokjin glanced back at her face.

“Imagine if a loved one's honest whisper can bring you back to life from the clutches of death...” she paused before meeting his eyes. “Wouldn't that be amazing?”

Now that she mentioned it, it didn’t sound that bad. After all, all the impossible facts are likely to touch our hearts more. She smiled when he gave a nod, agreeing with her.

“I'll do it for you.”

Yoon Min smiled curiously, waiting for him to explain what he meant.

He held their gazes together before saying, “I'll whisper in your ear if you die some time. It's up to you to decide whether to come back or not.”

She let out a pleasing chuckle, finding his reply both funny and caring to the point she just couldn’t stop her wide smile and kept chuckling the whole time.

And he on the other hand couldn’t stop taking his eyes away from her in concern. She was so fine even a few days back. Now she's gone like a dead leaf.

Seokjin opened up his mouth to say something but before he could do that, she glanced at him with a comforting smile as she placed her hand over his. He didn’t remember anything like this. Was it his own imagination?

“Do not let fear win over you. What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?” Yoon Min softly tried to pacify him. “There are moments when you want everything to go back to normal, but you have to admit if you don't change it, nothing will ever do.”

“That demon is nothing compared to you. I see the same fear in your eyes which would take away my heart as well.” she smiled more. “Mind over matter; put your brain into every decision before committing it. Try to make a choice that doesn’t have any sacrifices to do.” as if she knew he will not hesitate to lay down his life so he replied a shy smile.

“And don't worry about me.” she withdrawed her hand back which just rumbled his mind to have her touch again. “I'm waiting for you.”

Warmth, peace and hope filled his chest when he opened his eyes, still caught in that both memory and imagination. Either way, Yoon Min sparked faith in his emotions and that made him wish to see her soon. But as soon as he caught the sight in front of him, shocking fright paralyzed him as he stood up from his chair in a swift second.

All ships of the guardians were stopped on their own. Considering the fact he didn’t know how but Ozul had Aereum in his grip tighter, ready to slaughter her mercilessly in any second.

Seokjin wasted no second before driving his ship towards the fighting scene which was currently in a pause.

Aereum was struggling her best to rip free from the demon's hold, but his strong, muscular, bulky arm was grabbing her waist a bit too roughly in amusement.

“LET HER GO!”

Seokjin yelled as soon as he came out in front of all.

Ozul Vex laughed, “And here comes Kim Seok Jin, the coward.” of course, he wouldn’t stop mocking him.

Guardians from inside the ships didn’t know what to do. They just looked at each other and stared at the scene.

“Where were you, senior? Are you that scared to face me now that you know what I want from you?”

How the heck he knew everything?!

“Well anyone would do the same if they were me.”

“Fool you are! You think hiding behind a little rock would save you from me? I could just aim my power towards you and just destroy the heck out of you. But I wanted you to come on your own.” his devilish words poisoned Seokjin's patience.

He gritted his teeth, “Let the princess go, Ozul.”

“Oh, her? My beloved ex-girlfriend? Who didn’t love me enough that we couldn’t return to Earth?” he pulled her hair harshly, making her yell in pain.

She grunted to speak, “S-stop, you m-moron!”

Suddenly, Seokjin's earbud started to make some noise and he heard Yoongi's voice in a whisper, “Hyung, keep engaging yourselves for a while. Jungkook, Jimin, Nam Joon are on their way to sneak inside the ship. Just don't let him see them!”

Seokjin carefully looked behind the demon where he clearly saw three guardians trying to get inside the large ship. He instantly looked away and pretended he didn’t know.

He acted according to their plan, “Ozul, I'm not gonna ask you repeatedly to free her.”

The demon smirked evilly before speaking, “And what do I get for freeing her?”

Seokjin knew exactly what he wanted. But he still chose to remain clueless to pass the time.

Ozul seemed to fall for their plan as he continued, “Let's see...how about you be a good boy and let me take your power?”

Seokjin widened his eyes and pretended to look terrified by his suggestion.

“No!” Aereum was quick to protest. “No, Kim Seok Jin!”

“Senior Guardian Kim, you very well know what would please me right now. If I take your dream travel power, I might let your princess go.” he sing-songed the last part.

She kept protesting as if she knew Seokjin will agree to this, “Seokjin, listen to me. Either way we are all gonna be killed. If he takes your power, he will have the opportunity to destroy everyt--”

Before she could finish, the demon slapped her tightly on the face.

“You talk too much, bitch.”

Ozul clicked his tongue as he put more spice to the suggestion, “Okay, how about we change things a little?”

“You give me your power, I will let all of you and your dear universe go. I will just come back a few months later and proceed to my plan then. Just giving you some time to think how to defeat me though it's useless.” he laughed loudly at his own words.

Seokjin couldn’t think straight. He didn’t know the consequences of any desicions. For a moment he just remained inside his ship, still and silent. As if his brain was fractured by the load of all negative feelings.

“DON'T, SEOK JIN!” Aereum never stopped her warnings. “Don't try to be a hero! Let me die!”

Ozul adored the passionate side of his ex-lover as he chuckled fakely, “Aww...look who's an amazing ruler of an universe. Everyone will be so proud of you~”

The Princess ignored his words and continued, “You run away right now and let the others fight. You heard me? I don't care about anything but all of the residents' lives. You think saving me will do good but no, it's just the worse. Just go!”

Seokjin was in a puzzled state where he had no idea of what to do. He didn’t even figure out what was best. His mind started to lose all thoughts as he felt himself being slight dizzy due to the extreme mental pressure he was facing for days. All he knew he had to save the princess no matter what.

He glanced at the eyes of the demon and confidently replied, “Okay.”
