Yoon Min's eyes were widening at each part of the grand hall room.

Everything, literally everything was decorated like elements of the universe. The front entrance was decorated with white and blue balloons along with silver ribbons. The thick carpet for walking was black and the whole ground was sparkling. Tables, chairs drapped in white were placed sufficiently, leaving the main centre vacant for dancing. The curtains were purple, windows open, letting the natural wind be a guest as well. There was a higher floor which was guessed as a stage, maybe for announcements. And lights that were shaped as stars were hanging from the ceiling with a large Moon ball. The ceiling was a majestic painting of a beautiful night sky. In all, as if she was inside a fantasy world of beauty.

Letting out a smile, she was feeling better than before.

Her friends were looking so gorgeous which caused her to think maybe she wasn’t that pretty as them. But as long as she was the reason this occasion was being held, it didn’t affect her. Koushi just joined them and the wine glass she was holding was about to slip away from her hand in surprise. Gladly Myeong Jo caught it.

“Holy shit, is that you, Song Yoon Min?!”

She smiled slightly in answer. Koushi then grabbed her by her arms and scanned every detail of her face. “You Look MARVELLOUS, my friend! I almost thought it was someone else.”

Yoon Min smiled again and said, “Ella did everything. You should thank her.”

“Indeed, Yoon Min's fairy is very responsible. My fairy couldn’t even pick me up a dress.” Sung Rin pouted.

That's when, Yian also joined them.

“Yah, you fraud! Who's your partner? You said you were coming with Guardian Jungkook!” Koushi yelled.

Letting out a simple smile, she giggled, “Sorry. I thought Jungkook will ask either you or me. But he didn’t. In fact--” her eyes changed to Sung Rin.

Sung Rin raised her arms in defence, “What did I do?”

Yian scoffed at her innocence and said, “I heard he asked you?”

“Are you serious? Would I be with you if Jeon Jungkook had asked me? He didn’t ask anyone. Aish, why does he play with us like this~”

Myeong Jo and Yoon Min remained in their positions since they had lost interest long ago at their other three friends, fan-girling Jungkook.

“Who are you dancing with then?” Koushi asked her friends with concern.

“Guardian Nam Joo Hyuk.” Yian answered. She didn’t look completely sad.

“Guardian Park Chaneyol.” Koushi replied soon.

“Guardian Hwang In Yeop.” Sung Rin said.

The others widened their eyes and asked her in union, “WHAT ABOUT KIM TAEHYUNG?!”

“Hey, it's not my fault he didn’t ask me. We broke up, remember?”

Yian changed her focus on Myeong Jo, “Senior Guardian Jimin?” she received her answer when Myeong Jo nodded simply without any excitement.

The party was going smoothly. Everyone was having fun. It was seen on their faces and behaviours. No one could deny Princess Aereum looked the Most Beautiful among all female. The situation was to this length that even female guardians were falling for her. Koushi organized a long table where all types of foods, desserts, drinks were placed. So nobody had any problem with eating. Princess Aereum rewarded Koushi with three special pass cards for her clever, brilliant arrangements. A special pass card is a chance that lets a guardian to spend his/her whole day without serving humans. He/she can spend the entire the day, having fun inside the universe. And she received three! Koushi was really happy.

And occasionally the party moved to its special point; the time when the chosen guardians would step forward in the centre and start the dance. Princess Aereum stood on the stage which was especially designed for her and announced, “My dear residents...”

Everyone stopped their activities and looked at her.

“I'm very impressed with Guardian Hwang Koushi's efforts to make this celebration so beautiful and amazing. It's been a long time I saw you all this happy. I'm glad you're enjoying this party. As you know, it was held for our chosen three guardians who had taken brave, fearless steps to save our universe; now we'll move on with them initiating the dance process. Senior Guardian Kim Seok Jin, Guardian Choi Beomgyu and Guardian Song Yoon Min, please step forward with your respective partners.” everyone clapped for them after she finished her announcement.

It took a while to see the three guardians on the centre. The first duo all saw was Yoon Min pulling Beomgyu with her towards the dance floor aggressively. Maybe he was shy all on a sudden. Then followed by them, Seokjin was rather polite; he held Guardian Min Aera's hand delicately and led her to the centre wearing an undescribable expression. After countless whines and efforts to make his shyness go away, Yoon Min finally managed to make Beomgyu get back to his confident mood. He mumbled a sorry to her and grinned.

The blue lights changed into white lights and focused on the two pairs. A melodic music began to play. While the others were surrounding them, keeping a safe distance. The men bowed to their partners first and gently kissed the top of their hands as custom. The women did a slight bow and smiled nervously. Then the men connected their arms around the women's arms and all four of them began circling, staring at each other. This wasn't a normal dance. There were many steps to make it look natural and beautiful at the same time.

Unwrapping their arms, they joint their palms together while keeping the other arm free. And they moved in sync, feeling the music and closeness. The men held their women's hand and spun them and repeated the first move again. This was a graceful dance. Not so much touching; only they needed to feel the music and look at the partner's eyes.

Yoon Min however couldn’t keep up with Beomgyu's stare. She never saw him like this. Not because they were  closest to each other now than before; it was a different feeling. She just felt something else from his stare. 

Moving her eyes to something else, the first person her eyes landed was Seokjin. How beautifully he was smiling and dancing. How would it feel to have him close to her, how wonderful would it be to look into his eyes and see the sparkles. Just how a person eventually knows if someone is staring at him; Seokjin removed his eyes from his partner and looked at Yoon Min too. Truthfully, he didn’t expect her to stare at him. Yoon Min was taken aback in shock, she didn’t know if she should look away or not.

“Yoon Yoon...” Beomgyu's gentle voice saved her and she looked at him. “What's wrong?”

She shook her head and smiled, “Nothing, Beomgyu.”

“Tell me if this is uncomfortable.”

“No! No, it isn’t, Beomgyu. I am just....not familiar with the steps.” she wisely lied.

He believed her and continued their dance, leading her in the easiest way as possible.

The two pairs were continuing their dances; the others finding the right opportunity also joined them with their respective partners. Soon the dance floor was filled with many guardians, doing the same graceful dance.

“Hey, do you mind if I take some rest?” Yoon Min asked Beomgyu.

He shook his head with a smile and let her go slowly.

Yoon Min didn’t notice where he went or what he was doing after that. That was her last time with him.

Flopping down on a high round chair around the food table, Yoon Min let out a loud sigh as her body was feeling weak after dancing, though it wasn’t that long. She took off her heels and began rubbing her toe fingers. High heels hurt that bad? The dance floor was getting filled up with more people doing the same graceful dance again and again. So pretty much, the whole party hall was empty.

Time passed with her dazing out in her own thoughts and munching some chocolates thoughtlessly. Yoon Min basically didn’t like to waste her time like that. If she could, she would've walked straight out of the hall. But since this grand party had been arranged mainly because of her, she couldn’t just leave. So she occupied herself in limitless thoughts about the whole universe and continued eating.

“I didn’t know you could eat like a dog too.”

Someone's comment brought her back to her senses and she turned to the source of the voice. Gulping down nervously, she pushed aside the boxes of chocolates and acted as if she was innocent.

Seokjin chuckled at her cute act and pulled a chair to sit right beside her. “Don't be embarrassed. All women like chocolates.”

She felt a slight tease so she asked boldly, “I assume you don't like it?”

“N-no, not exactly. But I do like chocolate flavoured foods.”

Finding his response acceptable, she nodded and faced the crowd of guardians.

“Woah, things are getting heavy.”

The dance floor was no longer the same. Rather, men and women were dancing holding each other like couples. The music changed into smooth relaxation, causing the whole hall room to bear a different vibe. A good different vibe. Yoon Min rolled her eyes slightly and mumbled, “At this rate, we are gonna have tons of couples the next day.”

Seokjin found her words unusual so he asked with curiosity, “Why?”

She looked at him, feeling a bit pride that he wanted to know something from her. Clearing her throat, she said,

“This type of dancing produces an emotional state between the partners. Especially, if the woman has never been in love or never danced with someone, she will definitely feel like a diamond. They have to or they eventually stare at each other as if their worlds are inside them. Being so close to each other can cause your heart beat faster and in a sensual way; you might think you're in love. And if the man holds the woman as if he treasures her more than his life...you can imagine that love is bound to happen between them.”

Seokjin stared at her for a minute in silence and then said casually, “I never thought of it like that. It was always an ordinary couple dance to me.”

Yoon Min glanced at him slightly then back at the dance floor, “Nobody realizes it until they dance like that.”

The next thing Seokjin said which definitely created an unusual feeling inside Yoon Min's chest was...

“Shall we test that out?”
