The whole hallroom filled with unreadable chatters, gossips and exclaims. It felt like a disaster was approaching their lives. That was the least thing they expected to happen. No one even imagined he would come back one day. Most of them were curious about his disguise. They all heard of him since their recruitment but never actually saw him.

Princess Aereum continued, "In fact, he had been planning to attack us since a long time ago and it is my thought that he already has done it."

Everyone was getting really worried and anxious, seeing the Princess speaking so seriously.

She cleared her throat and continued, "A few days back, Guardian Taeyong and his friends went to hang around near the boundary of the invisible shield that is protecting us from Ozul Vex."

"Which I hope won't happen again." she glared at Guardian Taeyong and his circle of friends for a second in disappointment.

Princess Aereum had put a large invisible circular shield around the whole universe which was protecting the universe from outer evil space. It was forbidden to go anywhere near the shield by her strict order. As a result, no guardian or fairy went near the boundary. So it seemed like Guardian Taeyong had gone there despite knowing the consequences. He simply raised his arm and mouthed a Sorry before lowering his head again.

"So during that time, he had intentionally pushed his arm through the shield jokingly. And surprisingly, his hand could go through it and he could touch everything outside the boundary."

The whole hall exclaimed in shock. Some covered their mouths with their hands while some began whispering to each other. A few were so shocked that they couldn't even blink.

She looked at the waves of guardians and fairies, "I know this is shocking. Usually, nothing wasn't supposed to go through the shield at all due to the strong effect of power but it seemed like, the shield had been broken and lost its power a long time ago."

Yoon Min was getting attacked by each of her word. Her chest heaved up and down due to anxiety. If the shield had been broken since a long time ago, then Ozul could had easily enter the universe! Of course, if only he knew.

Aereum moved on with her speech, "We did a few investigation on it. After going through many guesses and theories, it appeared that Ozul Vex was the one who used something to weaken the strength of the shield and it eventually lost its power."

"Now I know you all must be thinking why didn't he attack us sooner or if he was the one who ruined the shield a long time ago, then how come he didn't enter inside yet? I haven't found the answer yet as of now. But what my guess is, he has created a big plan to attack us."

Princess Aereum gave Secretary Baekhyun a nod, then he switched on a remote in front of the crowd. A large piece of white cloth dropped to the floor and light fell on it, presenting a picture of the shield. To describe easily, it was like a projector showing lessons in a class.

She moved to the center and pointed at the shield with her laser pointer, "Now, let me clear your minds. Ozul had done something to the shield a long time ago and pretended to keep it like before to deceive us. We all thought the shield was protecting us with its power but we never knew it was nothing but a deception. So, he could've attacked our universe a long time ago. But he didn't. What my guess is, he has been planning something dangerous since then. He wants to strike us real big. So violently that we will end up losing within a second."

Yoon Min could feel the silence of fear around her. There were numerous times she heard people gulping nervously. The fact a vicious demon was clever enough to trick them like that, was enough to make anyone faint. And he was planning to attack violently?

"Any questions?"

Upon hearing the Princess, Myeong Jo was fast enough to raise her hand higher. So she got noticed and stood up with her question.

"Princess, you said the shield was very powerful and strong. You were the one who put it around the universe. And you even said nothing could ever break it. Only you know about the shield's weaknesses. Don't you think something is missing here? I mean, how come Ozul Vex could mislead us like that? How could he know how to ruin the shield?"

Nice question.

Beomgyu gave her a thumbs up for asking such an interesting question.

Princess Aereum answered within a second, "Well, we all know how intelligent and knowledgeable he is so it won't be a surprise that he hacked our personal database and then did his work. My second guess is, someone inside our universe has helped him to know what it takes to break the shield. Which I highly doubt."

"Anyways, back to our main topic, the shield which was the only thing that was protecting us from Ozul and his army is now ruined. I already think Ozul Vex is aware that we got to know about his deception so we gotta act fast to defeat him."

Baekhyun slid the next photo which was quite confusing for anyone to understand.

"Putting the shield back again by my powers won't do any good. So I was looking for another way to stop him and after researching a lot, I finally came across something."

The photo showed a rare purple diamond and a magical golden wand.

"Does a purple diamond even exist?" Hoseok asked Nam Joon beside him who replied with nothing.

Aereum continued, "Ozul Vex is a demon. And does anyone know what a demon is afraid of?"

"Why is she questioning us at this critical moment?" Yoongi cursed under his breath.

"Nothing. A demon fears nothing except for a purple diamond." she answered.

Everyone looked quite confused and uneasy about her statement. Surely, a purple diamond didn't exist anywhere. So it was impossible for him to fear a non-existent thing.

"I hope you know what you are talking about. Because a purple diamond does Not exist." Seokjin openly insulted her shamelessly.

Is he crazy? How can he speak without the Princess's permission?!

"Senior Guardian Jin, do not speak without the Princess's permission." Baekhyun warned him immediately.

Yoon Min saw Princess Aereum glaring at him for some time, then she released a deep breath. She went back to her explanation,

"I figured out that if a large purple diamond and this magical wand is connected together as one, we can use it to completely destroy the demon. I believe by joining both the powers together will create a huge strong effect. He won't be able to bear the light. The light that will come out from the wand will burn him fully and he will die."

Her explanation had logics as well as correct rationality. So everyone nodded to her proposal and accepted her theory to be the right one.

"So all we need to do is to find a golden wand and a purple diamond. Join them together and use it on him." she spoke as if everything was very simple.

After a long time, a feeling of relief filled the hallroom. The silence of fear turned into silence of confusion and eager as time passed. Every guardian looked tensed, not a single smile was plastered on their faces.

Seokjin shamelessly asked again without her permission, "And do you have any plan to do that, Princess Aereum?"

She looked at him from a distance. The look on her face clearly showed she was pretty annoyed by his absurdity. Luckily, she already had a well-made plan.

"I actually have one, Senior Guardian Jin."

She gestured Baekhyun again so he quickly slid the next picture by pointing the remote at the projector.

There were two pictures on the screen, one was the planet Earth and the other one was the 7th planet Uranus. Everyone seemed pretty perplexed by looking at the two solar planets.

"So the research says we can find the golden wand in Planet Uranus. And there is only one Purple Diamond in Earth. Humans aren't aware of it so we have the chance to take it before they get to know about its existence. Approximately, we can spare only a week so whoever is gonna do it, they must hurry." she ended with a soft exhale.

Sung Rin raised her arm to ask a question. Upon getting the chance, she asked, "Who's gonna go outside the universe to get them?

Princess Aereum let out a heavy exhale and removed her gaze from everyone. She was thinking, that's what it looked like. Of course, it wasn't a trip or vacation. It was risking your life to get two valuable items from outer unknown space, thousands of miles away from safety. The devils who worked under Ozul Vex might attack them each minute. It will be a long week, fighting to stay alive and bring two impossible things.

She said softly, "Three guardians. Three young guardians who are willing to volunteer for this mission. The decision is up to you all."

The whole hallroom filled with questionable chatters. Most of them were saying they were not gonna do it. Well, they were afraid to risk their life for it. They were already dead. But still, they were afraid of eternal death. If they die on this mission, they might go to heaven or hell based on Almighty's judgement. Ozul Vex and his devils consumed dark powers that could kill anyone. So they had no self-will to go on this mission.

Yoon Min hesitated four straight times. She had a strong will to go on this mission, find the diamond and the wand at any cost and bring it back to the universe to save everyone. But she was scared too like others. Beomgyu beside her was already determined he will NOT go on this mission even if the Princess ordered him to do so.

A long time passed with no one stepping up willingly. Everyone was afraid, scared. They already lost their life Once, they wanted to hold on to this life at least. Even if it means to save humans.

"I will go."

Suddenly, a voice attracted everyone's attention. Baekhyun's mouth parted in surprise seeing an unexpected person willing to volunteer. Princess Aereum remained silent for some time. She was judging the guardian by her eyes, watching if it was safe to send the volunteered person or not.

"Are you sure you want to do this? I must inform you there is no turning back and we will not be responsible for your life." She still asked to be sure.

Yoon Min nodded, half confident.

"I-I am sure."

The guardians around her were very surprised to see her guts. It's been a few months she's here and she wanted to go on a death mission already? Despite Myeong Jo forbidding her ten times already, she couldn't be stopped. No one was sure whether it was Yoon Min's will to show off or it was her own will to save the universe.

Princess Aereum gave a sincere smile, "Well, I'm glad someone is willing to go. Anyone else?"

"I will go too!" someone else said and this time, no one expected him literally. They all made that Whooooo noise and gossiped rumours again.

Yoon Min was taken aback by his sudden will to go. Her mouth parted and she badly wished he shouldn't go with her.

Princess Aereum looked at him for some seconds and asked, "Guardian Choi Beomgyu? Are you sure you want to go?"

Yoon Min held his hand and squeezed it tightly for him to deny while there was still time. She knew he stood up for her otherwise he won't ever go on a mission like this. Beomgyu hissed at her to let go of his hand but she strongly kept denying and kept forbidding him.

"Y-yes, I want to go. I can do it."

He sat back down and earned countless slaps, hits on his arm by her who was whining and fussing at his stupid decision.

"Great! Two guardians already! I'm not forcing any of you but it will better if three guardians are in this mission. If no one is willing to go, I've to finalize with those two. So...anyone?" Aereum insisted for the last time.

It seemed no one else was gonna go.

"Okay, so It's decided. Guardian Beomgyu and Guardian Yoo--"

"Count me in."

At the last second, he announced his participation when everyone thought he would be the first one to take this mission willingly.

Yoon Min turned her head behind to look at the source of the familiar voice. A new encouraging, serene hope and confidence took birth in her mind as soon as her eyes fell on him and a tiny smile reached her lips.

He will be with her.

Aereum sighed heavily; looking at him, "Next time, announce yourself a bit earlier."

"Okay, so I'm really proud to present our brave three guardians who will be taking part on this deathly mission. I wish they will bring our necessary items safely and I hope they will not lose themselves and be afraid at any point. Everyone, give applauses for our Brave Guardians...
