Her heart ached in the most painful way instead of beating against the time.

Everything seemed unnatural. Nothing had any scientific explanations or logical clarifications. Each part of the view looked exactly like a movie or dreams that we see. The way how each color and shadow mixed, stars twinkling in the rays of bluish purple waves, light clouds also round planets here and there. Everything looked astonishing yet unimaginable.

Her eyes wondered like a little child everywhere, being mesmerized each second to see those wonderful features of the sky. There were sparkles in her hopeful eyes like an anime character as she was too fascinated to see the beauty she was seeing. A deep blue and purple color mixed sky with thousands of crystal stars along with fantastic clouds covering many planets. Her feet shivered randomly so she looked abruptly down. She herself was standing over a planet.

The little heart shaped designs printed on the soil made her a bit jolly. She again landed her eyes on the space sky to observe the beautiful creations. The faint green smoke spreading everywhere made the sky even more magical. The word "Beautiful" could never present the scene she was watching. No word could.

A light comforting breeze blew pass her ear, giving shivers to her whole body. The wind unknowingly took control of her mind and made her look behind. Her dried lips parted in surprise as she saw bright light shining towards her. Closing her wet eyes swiftly, she grunted abruptly for her eyes to adjust with the sudden brightness. She half-opened her eyes and still couldn't see anything due to the light. So she decided to approach towards the light.

As her feet began moving by her will, she felt the soft touch of the soil beneath her. No crunches, no dusts, no hardness. Only softness. As if she was walking on a pillow.

Taking slow steps with eyes closing and opening, she was stopped by an anonymous owl that appeared in front of her. Her eyes grew wide staring at the golden owl with a tag around its neck. The owl tilted its neck to the side. To be honest, it kind of looked bossy. She looked at the name tag and read silently, "Soren."

The owl was doing nothing but staring at her with its yellow eyes. Her gut feeling somehow urged her to trust it. The owl flapped its wings and began flying towards the light. She wasted no time and moved her legs to follow it.

Running and running and running, finally the owl led her to her destined place. She stopped as exhaustion formed her whole body so she took a long breath while sweating. She still didn't see the Destiny in front of her.

When her eyes finally looked at the view in front of her, she was left astonished.

There stood a large castle; its height well disappeared above its surface. There was a beautiful garden circling the castle with amazing heart-shaped green trees. There were uncountable flowers with tiny lights fixed inside the petals which made the whole garden so bright and breathtaking beautiful. Also in front of the entrance, a large water fountain was seen where the sound of water droplets were aa sweet as lullaby.

She was gasping in surprise; unable to understand why everything around her was so jaw-dropping amazing.

The tall silver gates were already open with a large sign placed over it, "Love Universe".

The light breeze again flowed towards the entrance, urging her to go inside without any fear. She couldn't stand there still without doing anything. She wanted to jump on the land of glowing flowers while rolling around. She wanted to climb up those cute trees and sleep there. Most importantly, she wanted to explore as her wish.

The next thing she knew, she already entered the gate and stepped inside the castle.

Now that was quite a scene to see. In front of her were many males and females of all ages walking around, chatting, goofing around. They all wore white outfits. Each of them looked beautiful. But the men looked breathtaking handsome. It was too much for her to drool over them. And a tiny cute fact was, each of them was accompanied by tiny fairies. As if they were their personal servants or something.

No one actually saw her as they were too busy doing their own things. One even walked pass her and accidentally bumped against her back. He quickly apologized before walking to his own place. Suddenly being in a crowded place, she started to panick slightly while watching all the people. She looked here and there for anything to happen. Something has to happen for her to move on, right?

"Yah, who are you?"

She flinched and turned around in the speed of lightening. A male was looking at her with suspecting eyes. He looked handsome, cute, sexy, innocent at the same time. And his voice was so...

"What is this? I've never seen you before..." he placed his fingers on his lips in a body language to show he's thinking.

She was perplexed; no idea what she should say.

The male clicked his tongue in victory before pointing his index finger at her, "Aaah~~ you are the newbie, aren't you?"

Newbie? Her?

She gulped down her throat while keeping her big eyes on him.

"You must be! That's why I couldn't recognize you. Haha, don't misunderstand me, I'm usually very wise and intelligent. Just my screw gets loosened often." he was laughing on his own.

He then took out a book he was holding and went through some pages. He wore his glasses first. He looked handsome.

"Let's see. Well, well, well..hmm...so...You are...Song Yoon Min! Right?"

Song Yoon Min? It's her name? Why didn't she remember anything?

He grinned widely and closed the book. He extended his hand for a shake, "I'm Byun Baekhyun. Department Secretary of the Princess."

She stared at his extended hand without doing anything. She should hold it and shake it, right? It's simple so just do it. When she was about to reach his hand, he suddenly pulled his hand back and gasped in surprise, "Oh My Gosh, you didn't meet the Princess, did you?"

Princess who?

She shook her head.

He slapped his forehead out of remorse before rambling, "Aish, let's get you to the Princess's office first. I should had taken you there earlier. Aish, silly me! Come on, let's go!"

He walked to their left hall quickly. Her mind took some seconds to reciprocate but she eventually ran behind him in order to follow him. She had no idea of what was going on.

While following Baekhyun, she could actually realize how big the castle was. Actually there was more than just a castle. Behind the castle situated the main part. There began infinite land of natural beauty with heart shaped trees everywhere. There were some white buildings/departments. If calculated, there were many other places. Oh she did see a waterfall too. She couldn't wait to explore this Heaven.

"Only the Princess lives here in the castle. Our chambers are there in those white buildings. You'll get to know them soon." Baekhyun announced while walking.

Finally after walking for 10 minutes to the highest floor, they finally reached the Princess's office. The door of her office had carvings of beautiful designs with flowers and hearts. Looked amazing. Baekhyun stood in front of the door and knocked two times. There was a melodic voice inside that said "Come in". He glanced at her once then opened the door.

Upon entering, she saw the same owl Soren resting inside its white cage and a very undescribable beautiful woman was sitting behind her desk, working. She was absolutely gorgeous. Her hair was golden white that reached her back waist and she was wearing a crown of diamonds. Her skin was flawless and there were tiny pearls attached to some parts of her skin. Her eyes were pinkish red with pink lips. She didn't realize how she was eyeing the gorgeous woman in front of her despite being a female.

"Princess, the new Guardian is here." Baekhyun stood beside her desk.

The Princess moved her gaze towards her. Gosh, she was so beautiful! She didn't smile at all. Rather, she kept her face straight as royal. She stood up and she was seen to be wearing a long blue gown. Baekhyun stepped aside for the Princess to walk to her. She made her steps towards her, her high heels clattered as she stood right in front of her.

The girl gulped and looked down to avoid eye contact.

"Welcome to Love Universe, Song Yoon Min-ssi."

Even her voice was like a royal princess.

"I am Han Aereum, Princess of Love Universe. It's nice to meet you." she also extended her hand for a shake.

The girl immediately held her hand with both hands and shook it slightly before pulling back. She was nervous a lot.

"Now, I know there must be a lot of things going on your mind. Who are you, where are you from, why are you here etc. You'll have your answers soon. For start, I have to tell you that you are a Guardian now. Your responsibility is to work hard to bring love, affection, kindness back to Earth. It'll be your upmost duty while staying here." Princess Aereum stated.

The girl was flabbergasted by her words.

Earth? Wasn't this Earth?

She was too surprised and confused about being a Guardian. And she has to bring love? Why? What happened to Earth?

"You can ask me questions."

When the Princess said that with an encouraging sweet voice, the girl somehow managed to calm down. She was permitted to ask questions. She could had asked many things. Her stomach was craving for answers. She chose one question and only asked,

"M-My heart's not beating."

Upon hearing her own voice, she was a bit surprised her voice was very pleasing to hear. The Princess chuckled lightly before saying, "That's because you're dead, Guardian Yoon Min."

She had nothing to say.

Nothing.

She stared at the Princess with no emotion displayed on her face. She's dead? How come she's breathing then? She didn't know if she should be surprised or scared. Maybe nothing. She was too shocked to understand anything.

"You died approximately a few months ago. And I hate to inform you this but you had committed suicide."

She couldn't remember a single thing. Why would she commit suicide? That's horrible! Who does that? What happened to her? Did she lose her memory?

"I-I can't remember anything. What happened to me?" she asked innocently.

Baekhyun decided to answer, "It is better for your memories to be hidden from you until you learn to forgive yourself and become strong enough to know about your past. You'll eventually remember everything as you'll spend time here and heal yourself by dedicating the rest of your life towards humans living in the earth."

The girl bit her lower lip in sorrow as she faced the floor. She is dead. She took her own life. She is a guardian now to protect humans from God knows who. She'll remember everything one day. Suddenly getting to know everything was too tiring and gave her a headache.

Princess Aereum gestured Baekhyun to do something so he took out a scroll from his jacket and handed it to her. She opened it and gave it to the girl. She looked at the Princess for an explanation.

"This is your oath to continue your journey here. The life you had taken may had been suffering for you. But I assure you, the life you'll have while living here will be worth to enjoy. You'll find everything here. Love, friends, modern technologies, foods, books everything you need will be here. Your job as a guardian is to make sure no one in the earth faces the same situation you once did."

Yoon Min sighed.

Actually it was a blessing she wasn't completely dead yet. She had woken up as a Guardian to make the world a better place. Almighty had given her this golden opportunity so she should never deny something that was an honor for her. Things might sound or feel weird, strange, confusing at first. But the more she would get to know everything, the more she'll be comfortable around here.

She took the scroll and confidently began reading out loud her oath as a New Guardian,

"I, Song Yoon Min, a human who took her own life on 04.12.2025, am given a chance to live again. I shall dedicate the rest of my life to protect innocent humans from taking their lives. I shall create love in every human's life so that they do not take the path to commit suicide. I shall never be ignorant to my duties and shall refrain from going against the rules. I shall try my best to make the world a better place.

I vow to be a Guardian of Love Universe."
