wooseok had just gotten out of another student council meeting in the morning, discussing what they were going to do senior year other than graduate and go to prom. he let out a yawn as he walked down the hall to his first period class.

to his surprise, jinhyuk approached him and talked to him, which he found weird. they would only ever talk after school and other than that, they would exchange glances in the hallways during school.

"yes jinhyuk i told them we weren't going to some cheap amusement park" wooseok rolled his eyes, entering the classroom with jinhyuk by his side, "why are you here so early today?"

"oh uhm" jinhyuk rubbed the back of his nape as he walked wooseok to his seat, "seungwoo and byungchan wanted to talk to me about something"

wooseok took of his backpack, looking at the older, "something?"

"yeah something" jinhyuk turned away with pink cheeks that were unnoticed by wooseok who was busy taking out his books, "you want to uhm sit with us on the rooftop for lunch?"

wooseok froze, gently putting down his pencil in surprise, "did you just invite me to eat lunch with you?"

"yes and you better say yes" jinhyuk murmured, getting weird looks from other students as they came in, "or else i'll look like a loser"

wooseok grinned, nodding his head, "i'll be there. can i bring yohan, byungchan and hangyul too?"

"yeah" jinhyuk smiled, "seungwoo and byungchan would like that" he heard the faint gasps from the students around them when he smiled and immediately went back to his old face when looking at them with a glare.

wooseok had butterflies in his stomach. jinhyuk only smiled to him.

jinhyuk cleared his throat from all the embarrassment he was going through. only wooseok was supposed to see that. where did all those other people come from?

"i'll see you later then" jinhyuk mumbled, turning around to walk to his seat which was on the other side of the room.

"wait!" jinhyuk turned around upon hearing the president's voice. he raised an eyebrow at the younger, waiting for him to speak, "i-i like your hair today"

jinhyuk chuckled, bringing a hand up to his hair and stroking it back. he had followed wooseok's command and changed his hairstyle. tons of other people seemed to like it just like wooseok said. of course he just had to listen to wooseok.

"thanks" jinhyuk smirked, walking back to his seat feeling as proud as ever. wooseok complimented him. how could you not feel good from hearing that? it made his heart beat a gazillion times faster.

yet, he still didn't know what he was feeling.

lunch came right around the corner. wooseok got out of his math class and headed right up the stairs to the rooftop after taking his lunch out of his locker. he had told his friends to meet him up there too. there was a surprise waiting for them after all.

"mr. president is here" yuvin teased, nudging jinhyuk's arm. the older turned around and glared at him, making him roll his eyes.

"did you invite byungchan?" seungwoo asked, eyes practically gleaming as he was looking at wooseok sit down by jinhyuk.

"yes i did" wooseok replied, snorting at the happy boy, "he should be coming soon with hangyul and yohan"

"yohan is coming too?" yuvin asked, eyes shining just as brightly as seungwoo's was before.

wooseok nodded, glancing over at the vampire who was looking out at the scenery around the school, "come eat jinhyuk"

the vampire turned around, seeing a spoon of rice coming his way. he opened his mouth, letting the brunette feed him, chewing the food slowly as he glanced down at wooseok.

"is wooseok feeding you?" seungwoo smirked, giggling at the red faced vampire across from him, "that's hilarious. jinhyuk is getting all shy now"

"shut up" jinhyuk growled, looking away from wooseok and hiding his red face.

"you're doing a fine job at this wooseok" yuvin smiled, "are you sure you guys aren't dating?"

"we're not!" wooseok and jinhyuk exclaimed in unison, cheeks flaring red after as they looked at anything but each other.

wooseok thanked the gods that his friends made it in time before the two vampires could utter anything about them dating. him? dating jinhyuk? impossib— not impossible. jinhyuk would never like someone like him to begin with.

"feed me" jinhyuk opened his mouth, smiling at wooseok. they had the corner to themselves now that seungwoo and byungchan were busy keeping the others company.

"you should be the one doing that" wooseok pouted, feeding jinhyuk another spoonful of rice, "i want to read my book"

jinhyuk gagged at the thought of reading a book. but then he saw how happy wooseok was when he was reading. not to mention that he looked kind of— cute too.

he grabbed the bento box out of wooseok's hand as well as the spoon and held it out, "here"

"ahhhh" wooseok opened his mouth as jinhyuk put the spoon in. he looked down and continued reading from where he left off.

"still don't understand how you like those stupid books of yours" jinhyuk muttered, shoving a spoonful of rice into his mouth.

wooseok glared at him, "they're not stupid!"

"fine" jinhyuk rolled his eyes, "boring"

"you should try reading one you like" wooseok pushed up his glasses, "it's probably better than the ones we read in mr. choi's class"

"i don't think i even want to pick up a book" jinhyuk rolled his eyes, "here. open your mouth"

wooseok did as so, keeping his eyes on his book. jinhyuk sneaked a few glances, hoping the younger wouldn't see. he looked— attractive— cute— no— adorable. one thing he still doesn't understand is—

why does he like him so much?
