05. the kind of way i'm lovin' it

as promised, he asked his mom to pack another lunch box for him. that meant he had three of them in his backpack. his mom didn't really question it. just simply asked who it was for.
"the guy i'm tutoring" wooseok said, slipping into his vans, "you and dad are leaving this afternoon right?"
his mom nodded, turning down the fire of the stove, "we'll be back soon honey. its only going to be a few weeks this time"
wooseok's lips curved into a smile, "have a safe flight" he picked up his backpack and headed towards the door. we has going to have the house to himself again. his house wasn't that big. it had two floors, but each floor was huge. they only really had three people living in it after his brother left to study overseas.
sometimes he missed his brother. he missed having company and watching movies with him. he missed the days where they would walk around and buy random things to eat. but he still had his friends of course. he could find company whenever he was with them.
"why do you have three lunches in your backpack?" yohan asked, leaning onto the door of his locker as he watched the president stuff three boxes of food on top of each other neatly.
"its for me" wooseok said, smiling to himself. jinhyuk was so going to like the meal. he did compliment is yesterday and that made his heart all fuzzy.
"three?" byungchan peered his head into the locker, "you are not going to eat three bento boxes seok"
"whose the other one for?" yohan smirked, wiggling his eyebrows, "is it for a special someone?" wooseok's ears turned red as he looked down at his feet, avoiding his friend's teasing gaze.
"let me guess" byungchan giggled, "is it for yowoon?"
yowoon wasn't a part of the student council, but he did help out from time to time. he was extremely nice and wooseok liked him— well not like that. even though he fitted into wooseok's ideal type checklist, there was something about the boy that was missing.
"no" wooseok shut his locker door and picked up his backpack, "don't even bother guessing" a cheeky smile appeared on his face, knowing that his friends weren't going to guess who the person was.
byungchan threw an arm around wooseok's shoulder, "is it jinhyuk?"
wooseok felt himself froze. of course byungchan knew. byungchan knew everything. that was exactly why he was vice president of the student council.
"don't worry i won't tell—"
byungchan was cut off by the erupted screams from the girls mouths as they crowded around a group of boys with their phones out. that made wooseok, byungchan and yohan look up to find seungwoo, yuvin and jinhyuk walking down the halls.
"what are they screaming about?" wooseok covered his ears, looking at them in annoyance as byungchan slipped his arm off of wooseok's shoulders.
"he dyed his hair" byungchan whispered, staring at the boy in awe as he walked down the hallway with his hands in his pockets. he glanced over at byungchan and sent him a wink before returning to his old cold face.
"did he just wink at you?" wooseok asked, jabbing the boy's ribs with his elbow as he let out a soft giggle.
byungchan nodded, crimson red blush forming on his cheeks as they walked closer to them. wooseok caught a glimpse of the other vampire who just looked at him plainly and looked away. wooseok looked down shyly. did jinhyuk just look at him?
he shook his head, walking past the crowd to get to his first class. he shouldn't let the vampire get to him. he doesn't like him. he's rude and cold hearted and—
"wooseok" the mention of his name made him lift up his head. a happy boy skipped over him and it was none other than yowoon.
"yowoon" wooseok smiled as he sat down in his seat, "what's up?"
"just wanted to say hi" the other smiled brightly, "how are you? you look tired" the boy pouted, looking at the eyebags forming under wooseok's eyes.
"i'm doing fine" wooseok replied, taking out his notebook, "just have a lot of things to do with the student council and tutoring and all"
yowoon nodded, reaching out to pat wooseok's head by surprise, "if you need help with anything then you can always tell me. i don't want to see you overwork yourself"
wooseok nodded, feeling shy when yowoon put a hand on his head, "t-thanks"
"anytime" the boy smiled once more before skipping off to his seat across the room.
yowoon was everything he wanted in a boyfriend. but he still didn't want him. he wanted someone else. someone that'd make him feel things inside. like when jinhyuk fed him yesterday—
"you're late mr. president" jinhyuk glared at him, "what took you so long?"
wooseok sat down in his seat as he catched his breath, "i had to do something" he put the two lunchboxes on the table, sliding one over to jinhyuk, "here"
jinhyuk looked at him, then looking back at the container on the table, "that's mine?"
wooseok nodded, smiling happily as he put down his backpack, "i wasn't going to let you steal my food again" he looked over at jinhyuk's arm, "is your arm getting better?"
"still hurts like shit" jinhyuk murmured, taking out the chopsticks and began to devour the food. he saw wooseok lean over and touch his cheek softly, "what're you doing?"
"does the bruise still hurt? what about his cut?" wooseok asked, cheeks flushing pink as he brushed his thumb softly over the cut on his face.
jinhyuk flinched when wooseok's hand touch the bruise on his cheek, "don't touch that. it hurts" jinhyuk scowled, feeling a hot feeling in the places wooseok touched on his face. it made him forget all about the pain.
"sorry" wooseok murmured, pulling his hand back and feeling the burning sensation on his fingertips. he cleared his throat and reached out to push his lunchbox closer to him, "is it good?"
"oh" jinhyuk nodded, "its good" he put another piece of meat into his mouth, "don't go touching me out of nowhere"
wooseok's cheeks flushed red, "i just wanted to check that you were okay. did you change the bandage on your arm?" he put a spoonful of rice into his mouth.
"i changed it last night after i took a shower" jinhyuk replied, scooping the remaining rice in the container and putting it in his mouth before closing it, "thanks for the uhm food"
wooseok grinned, watching as the vampire slid over the lunch box, "won't you get sick from eating human food mr. vampire?"
"mind your own business" jinhyuk crossed his arms, knowing very well that he'd get sick a few hours later, "it wasn't that good anyways"
"you just said it was good!" wooseok huffed, digging his spoon into his rice, "no one calls my mom's cooking bad"
"and?" jinhyuk smirked, leaning over the table to flick the president's forehead, "it wasn't that good" jinhyuk exaggerated, wanting to see the brown haired boy puff his cheeks up cutely.
"then i'm not bringing it anymore for you" wooseok crossed his arms, looking away with a small pout, "hmph"
"whatever" jinhyuk leaned back on his chair, "i'll just have to steal your lunch then" he watched as the president mumbled incoherent words and stab at his food and shove it into his mouth.
bothering wooseok was one of his hobbies now. of course he wasn't gonna let wooseok know that of course.
