    Elizabeth's alarm rang loudly in her ears, waking her up from her dreams. She groaned as she rolled over and smacked the button, silencing the loud beeping. Elizabeth pulled herself up out of bed and over to her closet. She pulls out some black jeans, a white t-shirt with a small alien head near the shoulder, and a red and black flannel. She quickly changed and ran to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup.

    She put on some eyeshadow, mascara, and lipstick before brushing her dark brown hair the went a bit past her shoulders.

    She walked out of the bathroom and back to her room, grabbing her phone, headphones, and backpack before heading downstairs.

    Elizabeth checked her phone while she ate some pancakes. She had some texts from her best friend Layla.

Layla🦀: MORNING

Layla🦀: HEY

Layla🦀: ARE YOU STILL SLEEPING??? WE HAVE SCHOOL TODAY

    Elizabeth laughed at Layla's texts before answering.

Eli🦑: I know we have school! You think I would miss a day of school?

    Layla answered quickly.

Layla🦀: I don't know...

Eli🦑: I've never missed a day of school

Layla🦀: there was that one day...

Eli🦑: we don't talk about that alright

Eli🦑: anyway

Eli🦑: I heard there are some new students and today is their first day

Layla🦀: really!???? Omg we should do something crazy af today

Eli🦑: ummmmm no?

Layla🦀: pft ur no fun

Layla🦀: I'll be able to get Ethan to do something crazy with me

Eli🦑: I'm sure you will

Layla🦀: well, the bus is here

Layla🦀: see you at school 😝

Eli🦑: see you 😋

    Elizabeth shoved her phone in her pocket before standing up and setting her plate in the sink. She looked out the window to see her bus approaching. "Shit!" She mumbled as she quickly slung her backpack over her shoulder and ran out the door.

    The large yellow bus came to a loud stop and the doors open with a squeak. She stepped up the stairs and gave a small smile to the bus driver before walking to her seat.

    She quickly sat down, setting her backpack on the floor in front of her. "Oh look, is Elizabeth" she looked over to see Ethan smiling at her. "How was your morning dear?" He said with a fake British accent.

    "I'm doing well, thank you sir" Elizabeth mimicked his British accent. They both started laughing so hard that others were staring, but they didn't care. "Oh my god Ethan" Elizabeth laughed. He just laughed. "Gotta make the morning great, were on the bus, taking us to our death, why not make the best of it" Elizabeth laughed before pulling out her phone.

    "Smile" She pulled open the camera and quickly took a picture of them, sending it to Layla.

Layla🦀: OMGGGG YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTEEEEE

    Layla sent a picture of her and Nathan sitting together to Elizabeth not to long after.

Eli🦑: omg so adorable

    The bus ride to school wasn't that long, so all Elizabeth and Ethan had time to talk about were the new students.

    "I heard there are three of them, two are brothers and the other one is just like a friend" Ethan had told Elizabeth excitedly. "You know their names? Or anything else about them?" Elizabeth asked. "I don't know, I think one's name is Castiel Novak"

    "Interesting name" she mumbled as the bus pulled up to the school. Ethan and Elizabeth quickly got off the bus and went to find Layla, Nathan, and the rest of their friends.
