he nodded and he went to get up but I stopped him, I sat next to him and snuggled up to his arm,

"I need to ask you a question"

"First call me JJ just don't say my real name or grace I hate both those names"

"W-why did you kiss me on the day that I left??"

his eyes went wide

"Y-you remember that??"

"Yes"

"Sorry, and if you ever need to talk JJ I'm always here ok?"

"Come one lets get some sleep"he said,

we stood up and walked to the bedroom, I went to find some pjamas but I didn't have any, so I went to get into bed just wearing today's clothes when Lawliet threw one of his shirts at me,

"You can use that if you want"

"Yes, don't you remember you did it a couple if times at Wammy's when we had sleepovers"

i giggled at the memories

"Oh yea"

I went to the bathroom and changed into his top, it stopped about 3 inches about my knee and was quite baggy but it was ok,

(Lawliets POV)

She walked out in my shirt, she looked gorgeous, I loved her in things like that, I walked over to the bed and tucked her in,

"Goodnight JJ"i kissed her forehead,

"Night Lawlie"

i walked out the room turning the lights off, and leaving the door slightly open, I sat back at my computer an continued to work on the Kira case,

I, L have found out the following information,
Kira is a student based on the timings of the deaths.
I am 75% sure he is located in the Kanto region of Japan.
Kira also has a very childish idea of right and wrong.

This is all I have come to soo far but I have only just been investigating this for 2 weeks and have decided I am going to need the polices help, I shall be contacting them in a weeks time.

I finished typing up what I have found out soo far, I went to the kitchen and made some tea with 6 sugar cubes, I sat on the sofa again and thought over how quickly JJ came up with her conclusions,

half way though my tea I hear JJ crying, I run the the bedroom and she's sat up with her knees up and her head in her knees, I sat on the bed and wrap my arms around her,

"Shhh whats wrong??"she just shook her head "it's alright calm down your safe, you don't have to tell me"

after a while she calmed down and I got her a drink of water,

"Is that better??"

"Thank you Lawliet, I'm sorry"

"No, no don't worry it wasn't your fault"

"Thank you"she yawned,

"You need some more sleep its 1 in the morning"

"Ok"

she lays down and I tuck her in, I go towards the door, but she pulls my wrist and stops me,

"Lawlie please...stay"i nodded and got in with her,

I wrapped my arms around her she turned around and snuggled into my chest and soon, fell asleep, after a while I feel myself fall properly asleep for the first time in years,

~~~~~~the next morning~~~~~~

I wake up and JJ is still in my arms and she is gripping my shirt, my shirt is also damp so I'm guessing she started crying again, I feel bad for not waking, I stroke her hair and she slowly wakes,

"Morning JJ"

"Morning Lawlie"

"Did you cry again"she nodded,

I stroked her hair more,

"Lawliet, your eyes there not as dark, did you sleep??"

"Yes"

"When was the last time you actually slept properly?"

"When I was 5"

"So not long after I left?"I nodded, she frowned,

"I'm sorry Lawlie..."

I felt bad now, she thinks that when she left I got depressed, I didn't I just became.....L

(JJ's POV)

"No it's ok you were adopted"said Lawliet,

I really didn't want to go and I feel bad I think he doesn't sleep now because either I left or he became 'the greatest detective in the world',

"I didn't want to go, after a while I hated it there..."I got quieter as I said it but Lawliet heard it,

"Why?"

I didn't want to tell him but I had to, no! I'll lie,

"I had no friends to talk to and I missed you"i lied,

"No it isn't its more to that"he said,

I started moving my sleeves up to cover my hands,

"N-no that r-really is all"

"JJ I know you, you play with your sleeves when your hiding something, scared or lieing, you stutter more when your lying or hiding something and you cant look me in the eye or face for a long time when your lying or hiding something"

he can see straight though me there's no use, I dip my head down and sit back more, my eyes start to well up,

"What happened JJ?!?"

"S-she b-beat me...s-she locked me in m-my room...s-she..."I started crying,

Lawliet wrapped his arms around me,

"Oh JJ im soo sorry"i gripped his shirt and cried more,

"S-she used t-to c-cut me w-w-with a k-knife...."Lawliet pulled away and looked at me,

I pulled up my up and showed him the scars across my lower belly,

"How often did she do this?!?"he was clenching his fists, he was angry,

"She beat me and locked me in my room every night...she cut me on the weekends or when she was angry accusing me it was my fault..."

I wrapped my arms around his waist trying to calm him down, he did calm a little and he stroked my hair,

"I'm so so so sorry JJ..."

"My father left 2 years after they adopted me..."I started crying again "I'm scared Lawlie..."

"It's alright your safe now..."

"I feel soo weak im always crying..."

"Your not weak, was this the reason you were crying last night??"

"Y-yes..."

"Come on lets take our mind off this and get some breakfast..."I nodded and we stood up,

I wobbled a bit as I walked but Lawliet helped me, I went to the living room and sat down, soon after he brought me a cup of hot chocolate,

"I didn't know you had this?"

"Yes I have it incase I get guests"he sat down next to me,

"I'm soo sorry if I'm a pain, and if its pain me being upset..."

"No, no its fine you needed to let it out..."I smiled a little.

A few hours later we were walking round town, then Lawliet dragged me into a huge sweet shop,

"Woah..."I said

"Pick anything you want and as many things as you want"

"I'll only get a couple it's soo expensive in here"

"No, no its fine my treat"

"No I cant Lawlie it's too much"

"No I insist"

"Hm...ok"

i picked a few things, ok a lot of things and took them to the counter and paid, Lawliet came up behind me and whispered in my ear,

"When were outside the apartment please call me Ryuzaki"

"Omg, yea, sorry, call me grace"

"No its fine"

we walked for a little while when I spot light walking down the street in front of us, he spots me and says my name,

"Grace! Hey"

he walks down to us

"Oh no!"

"Who's that grace?"

"My ex, light yagami"

"Oh want me to do something?"

"Nothin you can do"

"I've got an idea whatever I say just go with it"

"Hey ho- wait who's this?!?"

"I'm her boyfriend, who are you?"Lawliet speaks up,

my face lights up at the sentence, light snickers

"Really? I don't believe you"

"Why you jealous light?"i say his face shocked

"N-no!"

"Hm...how's you and that bimbo going??"

"F-fine"i hold Lawliets hand

"Well we have to be going"i say,

"Wait! Grace can I talk to you for a second??"

(Lights POV)

"Wait! Grace can I talk to you for a second??"

"Fine, but quickly, two seconds"she pecks her 'boyfriend' on the lips and walks up to me "yes what is it you want?"

"Woah harsh!"

"Really? You fucking cheated on me and you think one fucking sentence if harsh?!?"

"Woah ok calm down, I'm really sorry I should of done it..."

if she doesn't take my apology and da te me I'll kiss her that always works...

"Your right u shouldn't of done it, just go live your life with that blonde bimbo I've got Ryuzaki now"

"Pft, Ryuzaki what kind of name is that?!?"I said

(JJ's POV)

I clenched my fists and turned to the right to face Lawliet more,

"A better one than yours"he sighed,

He turned me around and kissed me, his lips wernt as soft as the peck I got from Lawliet they were rough and sticky, i also didn't get the same spark I did from Lawliet, I shoved him off and kicked his dick, he groaned in pain and knelt down, I ran to Lawliet and he wrapped his arms around me,

"He's a dickhead"

"Yep, I'll make it better"i smiled,

he kissed my lips, he dipped me down a little, the same, amazing spark shot though my body, his lips were amazing soft and moist, I kissed him back and more fireworks were sent though my body, our lips moved perfectly in sync, we stopped for air,

I looked at him and smiled, I stood up straight and held his hand and we walked back to the hotel, we got in and Lawliet rubbed his neck awkwardly,

"S-sorry about that..."

"I-its ok"

"You sure??"

"Perfectly"he smiled, he walked past the sofa and I pushed him onto it,

"Stay there"

i walked into the kitchen and made us some tea just how we like it and I sat next to him,

"Thank you"he thanked me,

I kept going over the kiss in my head, the way he did it, so much passion, it made me realise I am sure of my feelings....I love Lawliet, my best friend, I turned to face Lawliet a little more,

"Lawlie, I need to tell you something..."

he looked at me with worry and curiosity plastered on his face,

"Yes JJ?"

"I-I...l-love you"his eyes widened,

"Y-you d-do??"

"Yes"

then he leaned forward and kissed me, I kissed back, more sparks!! and I loved it, this time I knew it was real, no act, just...love, he pulled away and smiled at me,

"You know you asked me why I kissed you the day you left"

"Yes"

"It was because I loved you and I thought I wouldn't see you again so I kissed you 'does that mean he doesn't love me?'

(Lawliets POV)

JJ turned to me and said,

"Lawliet I need to tell you something"

what was wrong I wonder?

"Yes JJ?"

"I-I...l-love you"

my heart stopped, she loves me?

"Y-you do?"

"Yes"

i suddenly needed to feel her lips on mine, so I leaned forwards and kissed her, she didn't kiss back so I started to pull back a little but she kissed back, there were Sparks, like electricity running though my gains, I probably shocked her, I pulled away and smiled at her,

"You know you asked me why I kissed you the day you left?"i asked,

"Yes?"

"It was because I loved you and I thought I wouldn't see you again so I kissed you"i said,

she replied her face sank a little, I lifted her chin up,

"But I love you even more now JJ" her face lit up "will you be mine JJ?"

"Yes"she grinned,

i hugged her and pecked her cheek,

"I need to focus on the kira case for a while will you be ok?"she nodded,

"I'll go have a shower see you in a bit"

"Alright"

she went to the bathroom, I looked at my computer and Beyond had sent me an email...
