(Tyler's pov)

I sat on the living room couch with my father and siblings as mother sprinkled all of us with holy water, which was a weekly ritual for us and a monthly ritual for the church.

As the water ran down my body, I wondered how Josh felt when I blessed him with holy water. Did it make him feel holy or ashamed?

After the ritual, my mother sat with us on the couch and we all started watching The Bells Of St. Mary's, which is a Catholic movie that was filmed at a different St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church from a different state.

I've seen this movie so many times, it's hard for me to count the times I've watched it. But this time, I wasn't very interested.

Even though I wanted to go upstairs or even go as far as going outside of my house, my mother wouldn't let me until we finished the movie.

So I stayed.

During the movie, I fell asleep on the couch, so I missed the ending. Because my mother noticed how tired I was, she let me sleep on the couch while everyone else when to their rooms for the night.

Unfortunately, I didn't know she'd do late night prayers with everyone before bedtime. It was very rare of us to do it, but I'll make it up to her in the morning.

(Josh's pov)

After staying by the tree for a few hours, I realized that I needed a place to stay for the night until my mom would allow me back into the house.

And that's when I thought of Tyler.

Then I turned my head and saw that I was right next to his house.

My heart began to feel holy, like as if Mother Mary touched me with hope and love. Besides, I love Tyler and I know he'll always help me.

As I came up to the door, I peeked through the window and saw nobody in the living room.

At first, I thought nobody was home, but the door was somehow unlocked. I quietly made my way inside.

When I walked into the living room, I saw that Tyler was asleep on the couch. I predicted his family was doing something and he fell asleep while doing it.

I sat next to him as he slept, thankfully I didn't wake him up. He looked so beautiful while asleep, like an angel beyond the heavens.

I picked him up and laid him across my lap. I rubbed his fluffy brown hair and stroked his cheeks.

It made me fall in love with him even more.

Then I realized that if he woke up, he would see me and throw me out. So I decided to put him to bed, then he wouldn't know I was here.

Quietly, I carried him upstairs to his bedroom, dressed him in his pajamas, and laid him in the bed.

Before leaving, I sat down by his bedside, held his hand, and prayed to him a prayer that I learned from my mom.

"Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth. O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ our Lord. Amen."

After I finished the prayer, I kissed Tyler's hand.

"See you soon my love."

I gave him a kiss on the forehead, and left.
