(Josh's pov)

Tyler doesn't want to leave me? During this most holy time, when he's about to take communion. I was really confused. I always thought I liked him, and now he has feelings for me?

Are my dreams really coming true?

Tyler looked at me after he let go. He saw how stunned and sort of shocked I was.

"Josh?" He asked.

"He started snapping his fingers in front of my face.

"Josh?-"

"Oh. Um. What?" I said; startled.

"Are you okay?"

"Um yeah."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes Tyler. I'm fine."

He smiled at me.

"Communion's about to start. You better get back over there with your family."

"Will do."

(Tyler's pov)

I went back over to my family after it was over. I started to regret saying I never wanted to leave Josh. It wasn't because I wanted to leave him, I was too excited and I let the sign of peace ritual get to me.

I hope communion will relieve the sin.

After that, the priest went in front of the altar and took a piece of holy wafer, which Catholics use as bread as a symbol of body of Christ, and held it in the air; sighting the prayer.

"This is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Happy are those who are called to his supper."

"Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and I shall be healed."

Soon after, communion began. The priest, bishops and deacons stood in front of the altar to give the wafer and wine. We all made 4 separate lines and we all one by one received communion.

When my turn took place, I kneeled down before the deacon and he placed the wafer in my mouth and gave me the wine to drink. It felt glorious.

Josh didn't come up because he wasn't allowed to, but his family did. When he watched me receive my communion, he was shocked.

It was like an angel from heaven came down and blessed him. He had never seen such beauty in his life. But I didn't see his reaction.

When communion was over, we all began the prayer after communion, which the priest recited.

"Lord Jesus, I believe that I have received your body and blood. I adore you. I praise you. I thank you. I love you. Thank you for giving yourself to me. Now I give myself to you every part of my body that it may always love you and live for you."

"Amen."

"Go forth. The mass has ended. May almighty God bless you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
