Five ✝️

(Tyler's pov)

The very next day was the morning of Catholic Mass, which every Catholic was required to go to once or twice a week. I was very excited about going, since I haven't gone in a week.

When we walked in, the church was filled with music and happiness. That would always lift my spirits, especially our dear Mother Mary's. I'm sure she loved hearing the sounds of joy and laughter.

When our family took our seats, we opened up the Catholic hymn book and started singing with the rest of the church.

(Josh's pov)

We arrived at the church for morning Catholic Mass. I hate going to Mass. It's a total waste of time. Why should I come to something that doesn't matter at all.

Mom kept on pushing us to get inside because we were always late, but I don't care. I don't believe in God. Catholicism is full of nothingness.

When we all walked in, the usher stopped us to say hello, the priest came to his side.

"You're all late, again."

"I'm sorry Father." My mom told him. "We ran a little behind."

"Very sinful." The priest said. "You should learn to arrive early like always. Understand?"

"Yes Father."

I turned my head and saw another family sitting in the front row of the church. They looked a lot like our family, but they weren't late, and they seemed perfect.

And that boy, who sat next to his mother, he caught my eye. Look how happy he is, praising the false god, who isn't even a god at all.

Why should I care about him, he's like all the other stupid Catholics, like our family. I hate Christianity.

(Tyler's pov)

During worship, I turned my head and saw a family being escorted to their seats. They were the only members of the church who were always late to Catholic Mass, and it always angered the priest.

I looked over and saw a young boy who looked a bit like me, well, the opposite of me.

He looked so beautiful, like Mother Mary herself, but as a boy.

I had never seen such beauty, but it made me sad that he didn't enjoy being here, loving the Lord and honoring our blessed spiritual mother. I wanted to make that change.

But I didn't know how.

(Josh's pov)

I hate that boy, I hate everything about him, but he's so hot. Just look at him!

Those brown eyes, the fluffy hair, the gorgeous looks, that's an image of the devil, but in such grace and beauty.

But whatever, why should I fall for someone who would care less about someone who doesn't like what his family believes in? He just like his, and that will never be me.

Ever.
