Nandini's plane took off from the ground and journey of 22hrs begun from Mumbai to California. Her full focus was on her work it's not simple as driving a car on road so not for once she shifted her focus to somewhere else. Even she don't want to think of anything because eventually her mind will be fucked up mess.

Next morning after that night she got a message from her boss that he needs his pilot and it will be five days long trip. She was bounded to her work so she couldn't denied it being professional but personally she wanted to beat him for travelling this much long distance when doctor clearly suggested bedrest for a month.

"Why so grumpy?" Manik heard the voice of his brother from behind where he was nagging his girlfriend.

"I wish Swaroop also could have come with us ...... We three always used to go for vacations together .... So I am just missing him" Diya said this to Karan and he nodded understandingly. Manik also allowed Diya in his private jet when Karan pleaded with puppy eyes but more than that Nandini's one request did worked for Diya. She just professionally msged him to allow Diya she will pay for her ticket and Manik didn't denied.

"U can video call him whenever you want" Karan said suggestively and she nodded. Swaroop denied for this professional cum fun trip because of his work or maybe he didn't wanted to leave side of Aura, she has started living nd he made sure that she will start her new life with him.

"Hmm ...... I'm sleepy and my head is aching" she whined, she was having headache due to incomplete sleep. They have woken up at 3am. Manik wondered how his sleepyhead pilot will be dealing with it, but no matter what she is best in her work.

"Let's sleep then" Karan pulled her on himself and covered them into very thin blanket. Some voices of their cuddling made Manik scrunched his nose in annoyance, why people do so much of PDA.

"Sir" another annoying yet seductive voice reached his ears and he looked up to see two big mountains in the form of skin in front of his eyes. He startled for a moment then looked more up at the face of airhostess who stood there leaning on his face with her shirt half undone.

"I'm not interested today" he said looking at her face and she pulled her skirt up, showing her almost naked, round buttocks. He groaned in irritation, he definitely don't want to cut that last thread of his unnamed relationship with Nandini, because of his untamed desires.  Before he wasn't bounded by her but now things are different and she is a person who will not accept his infidelity ever.

"Haven't u heard about gunshot of that day?" his voice was mixed with anger and sarcasm when he saw her opening remaining buttons of her shirt. Hearing him she stopped instantly and remembered Manik is injured.

"I'm sorry sir ..... Please don't fire me.... I was just hoping to remove those frowns from ur face by giving u pleasure" she pulled her skirt down and again started buttoning her shirt. He never hired her for his sexual desires but they did had fun couple of times whenever he used to travel.

Manik looked at her disappointed face and he smirked as idea appeared in his mind to remove those frowns.

"Actually u don't need to control ur harmones" he said and she frowned.

"Aren't u injured?"

"I'm but my ex P.A. isn't ..... I mean he is not that good as me but sure he can pleasure you well" he suggested.

"He is with his girlfriend .... I guess".

"Noo ....... U r misunderstanding their comfort and care ...... She is lesbian and his best friend" Manik said innocently.

"So I still have chance?"

"Off course u have ..... But just don't start it here ..... Take him somewhere away from his friend ..... U know, he is little private" Manik said in his fake innocent tone, maintaining his cool image.

"Thank you sir" he just nodded with a small smile and asked her to leave.

Manik smiled evily after she left, now at least he won't have to witness PDA instead he can entertain himself with upcoming fight and bickering. He closed his eyes in satisfaction and now he was thinking of removing horny staff and replacing it with innocent and honest people. He always used to hire people who will be useful to him and his buisness then no matter how they are in their personal life.

"Here ...... ur cheese omelet" Swaroop sat beside Aura in their office canteen. It was 3pm in the afternoon and they were having lunch in the canteen.

"Thank you" she gave him beautiful smile and both started having their lunch. But after two three bites she felt nauseated and ran towards the wash basin, he ran behind her. He rubbed her back when she was puking.

"Come ..... We need to go" he said when she was done with drinking lime water.

"I'm fine".

"No ..... U r not ...... Today we r going to hospital nd u won't deny" he said strictly and she too nodded. She was ignoring her health but this time he won't let her ignore. She slightly have doubt about the reason behind her sickness but she hoped it's not be true.

"Swaroop" she called him and he looked at her.

"What do u feel about me?" He was shocked with her sudden question but kept driving with normal speed.

"Is it necessary to answer this question now?" He said with hesitation and she sighed.

"I mean I don't know .... Yet" he said further.

"It's okay" and they moved towards the hospital.

Here Nandini's aeroplane landed in Los Angeles International Airport after long journey of 22hours. She was hell tired and sleepy, each bone and muscle of her body was screaming for bed though she wasn't flying plane all alone, there was another pilot with her but still she was very much exhausted.

It was 2.30am in California when Abhimanyu showed up on airport. He brought two cars with him and directly came to Manik.

"How r u ?" He couldn't control himself and hugged his cunning boss because he is seeing Manik for the 3rd time after that incident because Manik immediately sent him to California for the deal and shooting of the song. And now Manik is here for the launching party of the song which is after two days.

"I hope u r still straight and haven't turned bisexual ..... Because ur touch is giving creepy vibes" Manik said with lipped tight smile and he sighed knowing that his boss is totally fine.

"Abhi please take us to hotel" he looked at tired Nandini who was ready to sleep on the floor of airport.

"We r staying in Manik's penthouse" He immediately gave her friendly hug and then his eyes landed on his ex who was coming towards them with her recent boyfriend, Diya looked pissed and may be Karan was manofying her.

"My back is aching if ur greetings are over" Manik's annoyed voice reached his ears and he nodded.

"That reminds me u have appointment with doctor day after tomorrow" Abhimanyu informed him and sighed 'This insane man travelled this much distance with stitches on his back'.

He with Nandini and Manik went into one car. Diya and Karan came in second car, Nandini literally forgot to meet Diya after coming out of plane so she will directly meet her in penthouse.

During the whole drive Manik keep looking at her sleeping figure, she was flying plane recently as it was her turn in the last, so she slept instantly after sitting inside the car.

"Sleepy cat" He gently caressed her soft, chubby cheek with his two fingers. Almost after a month he is seeing her from this close distance. He bent little down and his thin, pink lips lingered on her right cheek, he just brushed his lips on her smooth skin not wanting to disturb her sleep.

Half hour after reaching Manik's penthouse they all met in dinning room for dinner. Nandini didn't wanted to eat but Diya forced her and as Nandini was very tired so Diya was giving her shoulder massage while Nandini was leaning on chair with her eyes closed, waiting for Karan to join. And Abhimanyu already had his dinner so he directly went to sleep.

"Diya listen or else I will kiss u in front of everyone" Nandini chocked on her Saliva after listening Karan's threat from behind, as he was coming from behind.

"I have better idea ...... Go nd kiss that bitch" Diya said without turning towards him and Manik smiled from inside. Silently he is enjoying his brother's misery.

"NOT A WORD ....... JUST HEAR ME OUT" he said sternly leaving no option for her denial.

"See she was horny and she took me with her towards washroom saying she wants my help ...... She was seducing me as she thought I will give into her demands and she was trying very hard ...... At that time u came there when I was trying hard to get rid of her" he calmly explained it to her while Manik didn't gave any expression nd Nandini was very tired so she was hogging on her food.

"I saw u guys kissed each other" Diya huffed.

"She was forcing herself on me ....." They kept bickering and Nandini's phone buzz with Swaroop's call.

"Hello ..... We have reached safely and I am very much exhausted ..... I will call in the morning bye ..... Good night " she kept blabbering as she just wanted to finish everything and hug her bed.

"Nandini ...... Aura is pregnant with her fiance's child" Swaroop said without filter and Nandini stopped eating.

"What is ur reaction?" She asked him in calm tone and got up from her seat.

"This news was so sudden and unexpected that I just came running out of the hospital" he said with a guilt in his voice.

"How is Aura?" She looked at bickering couple then at her boss who was busy in eating but his ears was on her.  Ignoring them she started climbing stairs.

"We didn't talk I just ran away from there leaving her alone" he said as he remembered how her positive reports shook him.

"It's okay. ...... U don't need to feel guilty ...... I won't force you into something for which u r not prepared". She reached inside her room.

"I'm just numb to react ..... I mean I never thought or faced such situation before ..... So it's new". He was total mess and it was evident from his voice.

"I know ...... Just answer my one question ..... Do you love her ?" She asked sincerely.

"I ...."

"I .... I... " He wasn't sure about his feelings.

"Take ur time and find this answer for urself .... Be sure about ur own feelings then only u can find way for u two" she suggested most needed thing and he realised she is right.

"Thanks and please don't tell this to Diya ..... She will kill me if she heard I ran away from there".

"I won't ...... Now bye ..... All the best and good night or good morning" after throwing her ph on side table she jumped on her bed and within seconds she was asleep.

Next day ,

"Nandini stop .... I hate this thing of following u like third class roadside Romeo" said the annoyed Manik who was following Nandini.

"I don't want to be a puppy with hearts in his eyes and following u ..... Watching, how ur sassy ass sways" she again ignored him and keep finding at least one familiar face.

Today she woke up in the late afternoon till then Karan and Diya were out enjoying their vacation, they did asked her if she wants to join but she refused. Then Manik forced her to come to the studio with him as she is his driver though she refused saying she don't have license of this country still he managed to bring her with him but during whole drive she sat on passenger seat leaving Manik alone on backseat. And now he is trying to talk with her but she is ignoring him.

"Stop or else I will kill everyone who is walking beside you" and she stopped because the sincerity in his dangerous tone made her believed on his words.

"Impressive ..... Ur new mission of becoming serial killer or mafia" she turned to him and mocked him.

"Instead of showing tantrums indirectly through ur riddles u can simply and rightfully throw them on me" he said in pissed tone.

"By which right Mr Malhotra? ..... And it doesn't matter what I think? ...... What I want?, don't hold any importance in ur life. ..... U r just obsessed with my presence which doesn't make u feel alone ..... Apart from that u don't care about my feelings" she spat venom through her words which angered him.

He leaned closer to her with fury in his eyes to which she just moved back her face and before he could say something to her he heard the greetings of his p.a. and turning to them he saw a pair of his new collaboration beside him.

"Finally we met, Manik" Nandini saw how Jenna threw her arms around his neck and welcomed him.

"Pleasure to meet you" with his usual fake, professional smile he greeted back. As they broke hug Nandini looked at the 5'8 girl who is looking absolutely stunning and beautiful with blue eyes, sharp pointed nose, perfect jawline and dress suiting her white complexion and dark brown hair. There was just a touch of nude make up on her face, she was a kind of woman who would make anyone feel inferior in front of her charm and even Nandini felt inferior but only for seconds.

"Come I wanna show you something" excitedly she dragged him with her, he didn't liked it but anyways it's part of his business so he can do it. Nandini sighed in relief 'she can have peaceful moments without her grumbling boss'.

"Upset with ur Prince charming?" Advik said catching her attention, she gave him baffled look.

"Umm ..... One true fact ..... He is King of darkness in my real-life fairytale" she sighed and smiled at him.

"Umm if you won't take it as a pick up line then seriously I think I have seen u somewhere" he said while scratching his nape.

"Obviously u have ...... Basketball court in Mumbai?" she chuckled.

"Yeah ...... I remember I lost the match as well as bet" he shrugged his shoulder.

"It's just that u made wrong deal with a person who seeks winning" he nodded.

"Though I am working for free but still I got much more compared to some amount of money" obviously he got chance to work with foreign beauty that too in Los Angeles without wasting his money and apart from this he will get much more fame in future so he was satisfied with this deal.

"Hey" Jenna abruptly came and stood in front of Nandini, startling her.

"Hii" Nandini smiled sheepishly.

"Don't mind me but don't u think u r too simple for standing here in this studio" mockery was evident in her tone.

"No ..... I don't think profession of driver demands make up 24*7" Nandini replied back in her usual cool tone.

"What if driver is of a billionaire Manik?"

"Still no ...... I'm not some showpiece in his car".

"U do have pretty tongue" 

"Well not my fault I do feel offended if anyone insults my cute night dresses" she said flaunting her dress and also blinked her eyes innocently which was fake. Today she wore casual night dress and not one with cartoons printed on it.

"Cool" Jenna gave one fake smile and left from there.

"Typical actresses and their self obsessions" she said and both of them laughed.

"It's quite surprising ...... I never saw her being this irrelevant" Advik said the fact because she was very talented and focused in her work. She never bothered about anything in this month.

"How anyone can stay sane when Manik Malhotra is around ? ..... Actually she is frustrated that Manik isn't giving her attention" Nandini stated another fact because she is observing since long time that Jenna is doing things to keep him engaged with her while Manik is just trying to be generous business man and Abhimanyu looked little disturbed.

"Ohh I see" he looked at their direction where Jenna was eye raping Manik's bare chest as first three buttons of his shirt were opened and he was listening to Abhimanyu.

"But I guess now I know why she behaved weirdly with you" advik smirked and Nandini hardly bit insides of her cheeks to stop that creepy blush which is making her cheeks warm.

"Okay stop giving this look" she said dismissing his teasing smile because she is very well aware of the constant gaze of her snoopy boss which didn't go unnoticed by Advik too.

"Do u think beauty matters?" He asked all of a sudden because he remembered something from his past when he saw Jenna tried to insult Nandini.

"According to me it does ..... And in specific fields it matters the most ..... Beauty enhances the personality ..... But beauty is just one factor of personality like intelligence and if someone is gifted by it then it should be appreciated ...... Apart from that person with amazing personality is more attractive then just beautiful face in any field, even if heart or profession is included" she stated her beliefs.

"Actually ..... U r right. ...... U know sometimes I used to think beauty matters and sometimes it doesn't ..... But now I know it depends on personality which is built with several factors ...... U r very thoughtful" he praised her because for the first time someone putted these feelings into words that too appropriately without any fake denial.

"Like that I am very hungry too ..... And if u know a good restaurant which serves vegan meal then please" she said while caressing her stomach and from other side Manik stood up knowing that she must be hungry.

"Come ...... I know few food trucks..... They serves  awesome food" and they ran out of the studio and Abhimanyu stopped Manik from going out by saying he has meeting with foreign partners in 10mins and his presence is must because he wasn't here for first meeting too.

Next day, in India,

In the morning Swaroop stepped inside the office after taking deep breath. He went near to his favourite desk to find it empty, he frowned then enquired about her and one peon told him that she is on leave.

Month back she started living with her parents so he went to her parents home but didn't found her there too. After thinking for a minute he drove towards her apartment with a hope of finding her and yeah he was right because she was there only.

She was sitting on the floor of living room, all surrounded by memories of her dead fiance, her cheeks were wet with the tears but eyes were smiling with happiness and pain mixed in it. 

"Aura" he sat in front of her on floor.

"Swaroop I am sorry but I won't  ...... I can't remove his last memory from my life ..... I loved him" she said being in daze.

"U don't have to do anything like that ...... My mom has raised me better to not run away from responsibility" he said honestly and she looked at him without blinking her eyes.

"Do u love me?" He cupped her cheeks and asked, she freeze on her place.

"May be I do ..... But part of me will always love him too" she said honestly as tears dropped from her eyes.

"And It's not ur responsibility"  she added further.

"See I am sorry ..... Yesterday I ran away leaving u alone ...... But I was so messed up, this news was totally unexpected and I wasn't prepared for baby at this age ..... Our careers have just started and even I wasn't sure about my feelings for you" he explained his inner turmoil to her.

"What do you feel for me?" She asked with hopeful eyes.

"I need you in my life ..... I won't lie I had many girlfriends in past and everytime I felt it's true and we r the endgame ..... But this time it's different I can personally feel it ..... I guess I need this feeling for lifetime ...... And u r the only source of it ...... Before I knew what love is but now I can feel it" he kissed her forehead after his confession.

"I don't want to sound like pessimistic bitch  ..... But r u sure u want this and u won't regret it in future ...... I don't want to force u" she shared her insecurity.

"I had thought about this too and then I realised he or she will call me Papa from the very first day itself so he or she will be my child ...... U love his part nd I will love the part of u in child and baby will love me the most ..... Don't think too much we can go through this" he pressed her hands in assurance.

"What about ur parents?".

"They don't need to know about father".

"I don't want to form relationship on lie".

"Okay ...... Next week is Nandu's birthday ...... I will introduce you to them".

"Introduce as a ...?".

"Their future daughter in law".

"U r not serious ...... Are you?".

"Very much".

"I don't know what I have done to deserve you" she said before taking him in slow kiss and he reciprocated with same feelings of love.

They must be the first couple who realised each other's feelings at most weirdest situation.
