The sun was high and bright up in the sky,when William woke up. His head felt as if thousands of American solider were doing stampede in it.

He groaned when he remembered what happened last night. Hang over was the main reason why he despised booze,in the first place. William vividly remembered all that transpired between he and Ella last night; the memory made him all hot and aroused.

Throwing back the sheets,he got up from bed,went to the bathroom to do his early morning business, brush his teeth and wash his face. Grabbing the towel from the rack,he walked out of the bathroom while cleaning his face.

William jerked when he heard on knock on the door. A smile wormed its way onto his face at the thought of Ella,standing in front of his door,looking really hot and demanding to know what happened.

Ignoring the pounding in his head,he went to open the door. The smile fell from his face when he saw Lea standing at the door looking very worried. He was about to ask what the matter was when she spoke up.

"Hot stuff,Ella is gone."

People filed out on the island to see if they would find her. Everyone was informed that if they saw her,they should just alert the others or bring her back to the beach.

William,Maddy,Lea,Anu and Jamal all went together as a group. Even though they walked together and helped each other when it was necessary,neither of them attempted to make a conversation.

Jamal and several people, told William that they saw Ella that morning and she came to the main restaurant for coffee. But only Jamal claimed that she said she was feeling a little bit dizzy and that she had to lie down for few minutes.

Several people also confirmed that they saw her go into her villa. Aside from that,no one saw her leave her room after.

Her bags,every evidence that she stayed in the villa beside him was all gone. It was as if she was never there in the first place,which surprised William greatly.

His mind kept telling him that Ella left because of what happened between them last night. Thinking back on it now,William wished that he didn't give in to his urge yesterday. But it was hardly his fault too,if someone were to be blamed it should be Lea.

Thinking back on it now,he knew that Lea was the reason why Ella was drunk in the first place,because she kept calling Ella whenever it was her turn to ask either truth or dare. And since Ella can't do half of the dare,she had to take shots of whiskey. The same thing for him too.

William shoved his fingers through his head as he watched Lea and the tour guides,for the third time that day, ask everyone if they saw Ella anywhere. The answer always came back the same.

"No we didn't"  or "yes,I saw her at the main restaurant"  and "yes,I saw her go into her room."

"Don't worry,we would find her." Maddy joined him on the stilts where he was sitting down.

"When? I am really worried about her,Lena."

Maddy hid her excitement at nickname. William had never ever shortened her name,this is a first.

"You worry too much." She placed a hand on his bicep. "Have you tired calling home? Maybe she went back home."

William shook his head. "I don't want my sister and sister-in-law to be worried. Cassie is pregnant and the last thing she needs now is stress or worry."

"They would still find out either way. I think it's best that you call them to let them know," she licked her lower lip. "She might be home by now,while you are here worrying about her."

William's gaze rested on her. "You are right. I would call Annie now,excuse me."

As Maddy watch him leave,she smirked to herself. Sooner or later,William would be hers,it's just a matter of time.

"Why do you look so pleased with yourself?"

The smirk was replaced with a scowl in the matter of seconds. "And how is that any of your business,Lea?"

Lea scowled back. "It's Miss Mendoza to you,Mandalena. Why do I have this feeling that you know Where Ella is?"

"Because you are stupid and don't mind your own business?"

"Shut up!"

"No,you shut up." Maddy got on her feet. "I respect you Lea,and I also stayed away from you,if you noticed. I mind my own business you should do the same. My facial expressions are none of your business. If I wish to laugh,I would laugh and that's still none of your damned business. Stay on your line and I would stay on mine. Are we clear?"

Lea's lip lifted into a half smile. "Well,hear this too. Once I am onto someone,I never back out. And I,Alejandra Mendoza,am onto you. I am watching you Mandalena,if I learn that you are behind Ella's disappearance, you would be sorry."

Maddy threw her head back and barked out a bone chilling laugh; few people looked her way with interest.

"Oh,please I am scared." Maddy faked a shudder with a mocking smile on her face. "Ah,Miss Mendoza,I am not scared of you one bit. And please, feel free to do any research on me,I have nothing to hide. But know one thing,if you cross your limits,I would sue your sorry ass. Excuse me please,I have something better to do than to bicker with the likes of you."

Maddy turned to leave but Lea caught her arm and whirled her around until they were facing each other.

"You've said your part," Lea smirked. "Now it's my turn. Do you know who I am? From the look on your face,I am guessing that it's a no. Try searching Google for the name 'Maria-Alejandra Mendoza' and see what you would find.

Ah,before I forget. Let me remind you Mandalena,I know that you have been watching Ella and William ever since I got here,nor did I miss the look you give William when he is not looking."

At the look of surprise on Maddy's face,Lea grinned. "Shocked? Like I said earlier,if I find out that you are responsible for Ella's sudden disappearance, I would do more that suing your sorry ass,and that,mi amor, is a promise."

Throwing Maddy one last smile, Lea went in search of William.

Maddy gritted her teeth in anger as she glared at Lea's retreating back. Taking her phone from her pocket,she opened Google and types Lea's name. Maddy was shocked by what she found.

Not only was Lea's parent rich,they are also related to the president of Mexico and known in over twenty countries as the second most feared mafia group.

Maddy closed the Google account before making a call.

"We've got a problem."

"What problem?" Came the reply from the other end of the line.

"Maria-Alejandra Mendoza."

An evil laugh greeted Her ears. "That red-haired girl? I've heard a lot about her,but don't worry."

"I am really worried." Maddy bit her index finger.

"Ah,Maddy,dear Maddy. Have I ever let you down before?"

"No."

"Then you should not worry about that girl," A pause. "Just make sure that you get closer to William Mckade. I need to get my revenge on the whole of their family,and Starting from him seems good."

Maddy gasped. "I love him,you know that. How can I let you ruin him?"

"He is just a own Maddy. Just a pawn. Now that I have the threatening obstacle out of your way,I expect you to do better,okay?"

"Okay."

"Good. I would take care of Mendoza."

Maddy hung up with a smirk on her face.

Now let's see who the boss is.
