Ella sat stiffly in William's office with her hands clasped tightly on her laps as she waited for William to come back from the company's clinic.

After the blonde lady with William managed to urge her sister to let go and Mary fainted, he took Mary to the clinic after ordering her to go and wait for him in his office.

Ella had planned and rehearse what she would tell William when she sees him,never in a million years did she dream that she would separate two maniac's in the elevator. If she knew that a world war VII would happen,she would have taken the stairs,at least that would save her the trouble and time.

She thrust her chin out stubbornly. It's not her fault that those two decided to fight with each other,That Mary deserved what she got. If she had minded her business and not say anything,it would have been better. But she had to go and open her stupid mouth and look what happened to her. Crazy blonde nearly chewed her finger off its sockets. If William do as much as blame her then she'd leave,work be damned,and never return to uptown again.

Ella studied the office interior to calm her jingled nerves. The walls were painted in a lighter shade of blue and white. A star like chandelier hung from the ceiling producing a soft light glow in the room. A fire place was at the right end of the room,in front of the fire place were deep red sofa and two single leather arm chairs. The floor was covered with blue and white tiles, the ceiling was also covered with marbles. A large oak desk was also present,she was sitting directly in front of it. A big leather swivel chair sat at the other side of the desk and on the other side was three silver and leather chair which she was currently occupying.

The glass wall showed the highway from where she was sitting. This place was identical to Kaden's company which was directly beside William's. Ella marveled at the way they were able to stick together after everything they have been through. Golden Homes and Mckade Gadgets.....

Ella tensed up when she heard the door open. She got up on her feet just as William got to where she was standing. Ella stared at his black Gucci shoes not wanting to meet his gaze.

"What did you think you were doing when you pulled Mandaline's hair?" William's voice could freeze hell over.

"I was only trying to help."

"Pulling her hair hardly helped anything, it only made the matter worse!" William shouted as if he was scolding a child. "I expected you to be the adult about it but you decided to be a child about it."

Ella's head snapped up with anger on her face. "It's hardly my fault that that rude brunette and that crazy blonde decided to have a go at each other,is it? How dare you blame me for their own mistake. Your girlfriend's sister is the one you should be scolding not I!"

William scoffed."Loud blonde? Rude brunette? And my girlfriend?"

"Like I care about whoever she is to you."Ella crossed her arms over her chest."and I don't need any explanation from you. What I ask is that you mind the way you speak to me."

"Mandaline is not crazy and who am I supposed to scold if not you?"

Ella stared at the picture above the fire place as she tried to calm herself before she erupted like a volcano. William Mckade would not be able to handle her if she let her anger out. The last thing she wanted now is for William to call the psychiatric home,as if she didn't have enough to worry about already.

Ella studied the picture. William looked around fifteen or sixteen years young in that picture and he looked really handsome in the picture. She was sure that at that age,girls would be flocking after him like bees to honey. Which made her think that that his child would look like him...or will the child look like her..... Ella shook her head.

Woah Ella,don't get ahead of yourself. You and William would never ever be a couple.

Never. Ever.

"---re supposed to be the sensible one." William shook his head as he walked over to sit on the large swivel chair.

Since Ella didn't hear half of what he said,she harrump rather than tell him that she didn't what he said.

"Tell that to that blood sucking leech not me." Ella thrust out her button lip. "She is crazy I tell you. I don't like you but that does not mean I want you to die. Who knows who else she might try to test her tentacles on? I suggest that you be wary of her."

"Thank you,doctor." He sniggered." And Mandaline has a bipolar disorder."

"They shouldn't have let her loose then." Ella sat down on the chair she vacated earlier. "Poor girl." She said under her breath.

"What was that?"

"Nothing." Ella sighed. "How is brunette's finger?"

"Her finger is fine. And her name is mary not brunette."

"I would call her any name I want."

William let out an exasperated breath. God give me patience. "Why did you pull her hair any way?"

"Because there was no way I could stop her. And from experience pulling someone's hair hurts like hell."

"Has your hair been pulled before?"

Ella could remember that it had been pulled before by that maniac Skylar Anderson when she tried to save Cassie. Her scalp had hurt for days from that onslaught.

"No." She leaned against the chair."Mr Mckade,I apologize for what I did to your friend's twin sisters. I merely wanted to help Rude brunette. And I assure you that if something like that should happen again,I would stand back and enjoy the show."

"You don--"

Ella held up a hand to silence him and it worked like magic. Light green eyes met her dark ones making Ella's throat go dry suddenly. She cleared her throat once,twice,thrice. Just when she was about to do it the fourth time William spoke up.

"Why were you even here in the first place?"

Every damned speech Ella planned had gone out of her head after that fight in the elevator. Where should she start from?

"Huh..." She cleared her throat. Again."I thought about your offer last night,And I have decided that..." Ella slumped into the chair relief when someone knocked on the door.

Who knew that telling someone you accept their job offer can be so hard?

"Hold that thought." He pointed at her. "Come in."

Ella twisted in her chair to see Emily walk in with two uniformed officers,Mandalena and the other crazy twin,Mandaline. Each of them had different expressions on their faces. Ella knew that where ever that crazy blonde is concerned, there would always be trouble.

She got to her feet just as William rounded the table to stand few feet away from her.

"Good morning officers,what can I do for you?"

"We have been informed about an attempted murder on Miss Lopez by that woman." The officer with the name plate,Joshua Graham, pointed at Ella.

Ella gaped."An attempted murder?"

"An attempted murder?" William echoed in disbelief. "There's been some mistake somewhere. Miss Milestone was only trying to help one of my--"

"By pulling my sister's hair!" Mandalena sneered."I am sorry Will,but I simply cannot let my sister get hurt and let the culprit go free."

Ella flared up." What do you even mean,huh? Why not have your blood sucking sister locked up in your house. She attacked a fellow human and I interfered when things got out of hand. You should feed her blood bags before taking her out. She's damn well crazy and you can't even look at her! What type of sister are you any way?"

"Did she just call me a blood sucker?" Mandaline's eyes widened as she took a step forward.

"I did. And you are crazy." Ella smirked.

In a move so fast that Ella barely had the time to blink,Mandaline rushed forward and rammed Ella's back into the hard desk.

A loud snap followed immediately, which Made Ella think that she had broken her spinal chord.

Mandaline attacked Ella's face with her fingers. She managed to leave three bloody trail on Ella's face before Ella could shield her face from Mandaline's claws. Ella hid her face behind her arm so Mandaline could attack her arm not her face.

It seemed like a decade before they could pry Mandaline away from Ella.

"Are you okay?" William towered above her as she straightened.

Is she okay? What sort of question is that?

Her face felt as if it was on fire and her arms felt the same way. Her back felt as if a bulldozer just leveled it.

Yes,she was okay.

"I am fine." Ella winced when William touched her bloodied face.

"You're obviously not." He sighed when Ella slapped his hand away. "You're coming with me."

After all the event that took place this morning, Ella felt drained which was why she didn't bother arguing with him.

"We are sorry Mr Mckade." Officer Joshua Graham apologized as they dragged a hysterical Mandaline to the door.

"This is not over." Mandaline screamed as they dragged her out the door with Mandalena at their heels.

"Emily,have James bring my car to the front."

Emily nodded before scampering out the door.

"Don't take what she said to heart." William said as he grabbed his phone from his desk and turn to lead her out of his office.

Ella nodded but deep in her heart,she knew that despite what William said,she had every reason to be worried,because Mandaline did not seem to be type that make a threat and not see it true. She shivered inwardly.

Her,Rafaella Milestone,just made her very first enemy.

Oh,joy.
