Dinner

"Look who it is!" Dan called out enthusiastically as the four walked into the Bangers lobby. "It's Kevin and friends!" He wandered over to them putting on an overly friendly smile. "Hey Matt! Aren't you looking cute tonight!" Matt blushed while Dan smirked, then looked over to Ian. "And who is this tall glass of water?"

"That's Ian!" Matt giggled as Ian turned bright red.

Dan walked passed both Kevin and Matt before stopping only inches away from Ian. "You know honey, red and blue don't really work out together, but it looks absolutely sexy on you!!"

"It's um nice to meet you...?" Ian replied flustered at the surge of attention.

Laughing heartily, Dan and took a step back looking at the four standing side by side. "Table for three very handsome men?"

"Four, please." Marcy interrupted in a low tone.

Turning towards the tables and grabbing four menus, Dan started towards the back. Leading them towards the same space they had sat in prior. "It's good to see you again too. Marcy right? I thought you were out of town."

"I came back to grab my textbooks, and Mathew invited me to dinner." Marcy replied sitting down without looking up, ignoring Dan's fancy gestures.

Kevin sat down in his chair and pulled Matt down with him. Matt practically fell down into the chair beside Kevin. "Ow Kevi! What was that for?" He asked while rubbing his shoulder.

"Sorry," Kevin grumbled avoiding the question.

"I guess you'll all need some time to think." Dan smirked waving his hand as he started off. "I'll be back soon."

"I guess I'll sit here then," Ian mumbled to himself, sitting down across from Matt. "So uh, what's good here Kevin?"

"Nothing," Kevin muttered with a scoff,

Matt looked over at him confused. "You said you love this place though...?" Kevin quickly picked up his menu making sure to cover his face ignoring Matt's question again.

"He's just jealous Mathew," Marcy smirked as she elegantly opened her menu. "He's not used to sharing you, and now that another boy is here who-"

"Shut up Marcy," Kevin growled across the table.

Pulling Kevin's menu down with a small growl, Marcy put her fist on it stopping him from lifting it and glaring at him with the same icy stare she had the day she had left. "Mathew is a big boy, he can make his own choices. You don't get to just decide who gets to spend time with him and who doesn't." Kevin yanked his menu away from Marcy and flicked it back up ignoring her.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick. I'll be right back." Matt said with a small squeak as he stood up and quickly wandered towards the big bathroom sign. When he got there, he pushed the main door open only to see Dan waiting for him. "H-Hi Dan! What are you doing in here?"

"Well punkin, I was waiting for you!" Dan replied with a soft uncharacteristic voice for a man of his size. His masculine body began to ripple as he stood up from his leaning position. "See I had a feeling that you might come hide in here while those three hash things out, so I came by to spend some time with you!"

A dark feeling surrounded Matt as Dan got closer and his gut told him that it wasn't safe "I uh, I don't think you should get any closer..." Matt stated in a semi-anxious whimper. "I don't think Kevi would like it very much."

"Well Kevin's not here," Dan replied, his voice falling flat. "Look I know you got some past with Kevin, but I don't think you get what you mean to him." His eyes flicking from the door then back to Matt. "See he comes in here all the time and spills his guts to me about you. You are all he ever talks about. Every damn time he comes in here, you're life becomes the hot new thing."

"Wh-What does that have to do with me?" Matt asked, his fear turning into worry. "Is Kevi okay?"

A soft chuckle escaped Dan's lips. "Course he's okay, but that won't be if you keep flirting with that Ian kid." Matt began to blush as Dan continued. "Look kid, I see why Kevin has his eye on you. You're charismatic, and small, with your damsel in distress vibe going on. The problem is Kevin's got a hero complex. You can't just keep messing around with anybody who bats an eye at you. Otherwise you're going to hurt his feelings."

"Damsel?" Matt repeated with surprise. "I'm not a damsel, I'm a boy!"

"Of course you're a boy-" Dan paused as he looked Matt over. "Do you like to play games Matt?" Matt nodded his head with a half-hearted smile. "Well how about you and I play a little game. If you win, I'll give you whatever you want. If I win, you need to leave Kevin alone forever."

"Why would I want to play a game like that?" Matt replied with a grin, "I don't wanna lose Kevi, he's my roommate!"

"Roommate or not, you need to play this game." Dan replied holding out both hands palm side up. In one hand there are four candies each with a different emotion. In the other a large stack of money. "I want you to think very carefully about which option you choose Matt." Dan continued as he looked at Matt with an intense gaze. "In one hand you have the sweetest boy you will ever meet with the most basic of emotions. In the other, a life of prosperity and wealth. Whichever one you choose. You need to stick with it, but you need to stop trying to have both. Kevin's a good boy, but he will never make enough money to keep you both supported. He will love you unconditionally, thick and thin. If you pick Ian, you will lose Kevin forever. But I'm sure with his intelligence you will surely have all the wealth you could ever want."

"How do you know Ian is smart?" Matt asked, his eyes narrowing as he looked between the candy and the money.

"Ian and I are related, in a sense. He and I share a grandmom somewhere in our family tree. I have been keeping tabs on him since he came to town." A man opened the door and began to walk inside, "Bathroom's closed, come back later." Dan growled as the man looked at the money in his hand and quickly turned around. "Now, you don't have long Maddy I suggest you make your choice before I make it for you."

"I made my choice a long time ago silly." Matt replied before walking over to the urinal to go to the bathroom. "If I really wanted to be roommates with Ian I would have asked to go live with him." Matt said as he began to pee. "I mean Ian is really nice and all, and I've never seen a boy grow blue hair before." He continued as he flushed the urinal, zipped himself up, and wandered over towards the sink. "I chose Kevi day he met me." He turned on the water and began washing his hands as Dan looked at him confused. "He's my best friend in the world. He was the first person to be my friend. I told him I would do anything for him. I wasn't kidding." Matt turned the water off and grabbed a few paper towels before drying his hands.

"If you were willing to do anything, how come you fled last time with Marcy here? Why didn't you pick her?" Dan questioned as Matt wandered back over towards him.

"Marcy's a girl, I don't like girls. I never have! They have cooties and stuff!" Matt reached up and snagged the candy before walking towards the door. "I choose Kevi, but I hope you can find love with your husband!" He wandered out the door leaving Dan speechless in the bathroom. Matt let out a relieved sigh as he wandered back towards his table. As he did, he noticed Kevin was red in the face, and Marcy was laughing at him. As he got closer, Matt couldn't help but smile when he saw Kevin looking at Ian with a dumbfounded smile. "Hey Ian did you know they have a candy machine in the bathroom!" The three of them turn around and see Matt with the small handful of candies.

"No Matt I didn't know that! Did you get any good ones?" Ian asked enthused as he looked at the small man.

Matt held the four candies in his hand with a small twinge of unhappiness. "Not really, but I thought maybe I could share them with everybody!" He looked at the four and picked up the first one, handing it to Marcy. "You can have the smiley face, because you make me smile" She accepted it and smiled gratefully. "This one's for you!" He picked up the tear covered face and handed it to Ian.

"Why do I get the sad face?" Ian pouted, with a grin breaking through his poor excuse for a sad face.

"Because you work nights, and that makes me sad because I don't get to see you as much." He looked over at Kevin, then quickly handed a heart-shaped candy to him and sat down taking the sickly looking one for himself.

"What no description for me?" Kevin asked before looking down at the heart-shaped candy.

Taking a long drink of his water, Matt looked over to Ian for a moment before looking back to Kevin with a weak smile. "I gave you the lovey one Kevi... Do I really need to explain why?"

Kevin smiled as Matt looked at the candy left in his hand. "Well I would like to know, but I wanna see what candy you gave yourself!" He quickly snatched the remaining candy before Matt could hide it. "What have we here?" He asked looking at a sick face candy.

"I was trying to decide between giving you this one, and the other one. But you seemed unhappy, so I gave you the other one." Matt explained as he tried to take the candy back.

"Why would I get the sick face?" Kevin questioned with a suspiciously glance at Ian.

"I can think of a few reasons..." Marcy whispered over to Ian making him chuckle.

"It's because you eat those nasty pork rinds. They smell bad, and taste worse" Matt answered almost gagging at the thought of them. "You always eat them, and now that we started kissi-" He freezes as Marcy looked at him in shock.

"You're kissing him?" Marcy repeated with a disgusted look on her face.

Kevin smiled and looked over to Matt. "I guess he couldn't keep that a secret forever. I guess you should know, me and Maddy are dating." Marcy rolled her eyes and took a drink from her water.

"We are?" Matt asked surprised, "Since when?" Ian began to laugh laughter, but fell silent the second Kevin glared over at him.

"Maddy... Ever since Marcy left I thought we had started going out. That's why I have been kissing you. Amongst other things..." Kevin explained ignoring Marcy's dramatic sound effects.

"Is that what couples do? They live together and kiss?" Matt questioned as Marcy gagged,

"Well, something like that..." Kevin replied with a weak smile. "They also do other stuff like touch each other in certain places." Matt began to blush thinking back to when they were laying on the floor in their apartment.

Dan spoke up startling everybody. "Awww. A love confession at my place of work! So cute!"

"Where did you come from?" Ian asked as he began to blush.

"Oh shut it Dan, you're ruining the moment!" Kevin hissed across the table at him.

Matt smiled and looked over to Dan who winked at him. "I think that means he wants you to bring us food!" He looked over to Kevin and kissed his cheek. "Can we order now babe?"

"Sure Maddy, let's order..." Kevin mumbled, his cheeks burning bright.

"What can I get you sweety?" Dan asked Matt earning him an angry glare from Kevin as Matt giggled.

Looking around the room for a second before looking up at Dan Matt grinned sheepishly. "You know I didn't actually know what I wanted, I had to pee so bad I didn't have time to look at the menu..." Dan let out a little chuckle, and Matt's cheeks began to burn. "Maybe come back to me later?"

"Well then how about tall, blue, and handsome over here. What can I get you?" Dan smirked and looked over to Ian.

"Can I get the hidden stuffed peppers with extra sausage please?" Ian asked smirking at the name.

Nodding and scribbling in his book Dan looked over to Marcy. "Sure thing sweety, what about you?"

"Can I get the-" Marcy paused, letting out a long winded-sigh. "The bear belly filly cheese sandwich please?"

Continuing to chuckle Dan scribbled onto the page. "Of course, and for you Matt?" Dan smirked as he noticed something behind Matt.

"I still... I don't know, you have so many wieners to choose from..." Matt exclaimed, looking up apologetically."

"Can I get the nacho's please? The large one, me and Maddy will split it." Kevin spoke up as Matt smiled and put down the menu.

"Thank's Kevi... I couldn't decide what I wanted." Matt said relieved that he didn't have to choose anything.

"Sounds yummy! I'll get that going for you!" Dan checked over the list one more time before taking the menus and strode off to the kitchen.

Looking over to Kevin with a timid smile, he turned bright red and quickly looked away when he noticed Kevin had already been looking at him. "W-Why are you looking at me like that Kevi?"

"Because... You and I are dating!" Kevin replied with a weak chuckle.

Marcy scowled trying to stop the conversation. "Get a room, pervert."

"Oh I intend to." Kevin replied with a sly grin. "I plan to use our dorm and your bed!"

"Kevi!" Matt blushed, his cheeks burning hot. "I don't know why we need a room, but I think you are talking gross stuff and I would appreciate it if you didn't do that right now."

The sly grin growing wider, Kevin looked over to Matt. "So I can say gross stuff at home? Maybe even show you a few gross things?"

Looking down at his cup, Matt refused to look elsewhere. "I-I don't know, please just stop for now, and we can talk about it later..."

"Sounds like a good trade to me!" Kevin replied before pulling Matt over and kissing him on the lips.

"You two are so cute!" Ian chuckled as Matt scooted backwards with an embarrassed grin. "Maybe my girlfriend and I can come over some time and we can play a board game or something?"

"Girlfriend?" Matt repeated looking at him suddenly. "I didn't know you were in a relationship..."

"Oh yeah, you missed our talk." Ian covered his face with his hand rubbing his eyes. "One of the reasons I wanted to come to dinner tonight was to tell you. I thought maybe you would like to meet her sometime. She's very nice, and seems to want to meet you very badly!"

"Is she a monopoly player?" Matt questioned with a hopeful tone in his voice as both Marcy and Kevin groaned.

"I think so, she has a board at home, but I don't know if she loves it. I'm sure she would love to play with you though!" Ian replied looking at Kevin and Marcy who were both wide-eyed in fear.

Smiling ear to ear, Matt began jiggling in his seat. "I love monopoly, it's my favorite game in the whole world! TherewasthisonetimeIwasplayingwithKevi-" Kevin covered his mouth quickly silencing him.

"Take a breath Maddy, and slow down. Ian can't understand when you talk a million miles an hour." Kevin said with a smirk before his face began to contort. His eyebrows furled up, then squished together as if he was enjoying and panicking about something at the same time. Moving his hand slowly away from Matt's lips he noticed the saliva on his palm. "Did you just suck on my palm?"

"You weren't letting me tell my story! Next time I'll bite!" Matt giggled with a proud look on his face before snapping his teeth together. Looking back over to Ian his smug smile faded. "Anyways, me and Kevi and Marcy were playing the other day. Marcy landed on a maxed Boardwalk, and she was forced to quit the whole game because she couldn't pay the fine and refused to sell anything!"

Ian looked at Matt and grinned nodding his head agreeing. "That's crazy! Did Kevin give her a fair price for any of the property's?"

"NO!" Matt whined, "It wasn't fair at all! I wanted to help pay her debt, but she said she wanted to lose with dignity, so she got up and walked away."

"Real dignified," Kevin remarked making Marcy glare at him.

"We had been playing for five hours! I just wanted to go to bed!" Marcy explained waving her hand. "Five hours!"

Coming back with a large tray of food on his arm Dam took a deep breath and sighed in content with the smells that wafted up beside him. "Grub's up!" He said setting the plates down one at a time for everybody. "I hope you enjoy!" He bowed his head and wandered off to take care of another guest.

Noticing a large chip that had an even larger pile of toppings on it, Matt reached for it and picked it up with excitement. Bringing it over towards his plate Kevin adjusted his head and dove forward eating everything but the end of the chip leaving a small nub in Matt's hand. "KEVI! That was mine!"

"Sorry, I thought you were trying to feed me!" Kevin explained as he chewed with a smug grin.

"How could I have been trying to feed you? I was bringing to my plate!" Matt whined as he tossed the small chip nub back onto the plate.

"That's not what it looked like to me! It was so weird, my mouth's all the way over here, and you were taking it the wrong way!" Kevin replied making Matt smirk. "I guess I'll feed you one then!" He picked up a small chip with nothing on it and brought it to Matt's mouth. "Open up wide!"

Matt pushed it away breaking the chip, pieces scattering all over the table. "There's nothing on that chip!"

"Exactly! I didn't wanna spill anything!" Kevin smirked, his eyes focused on the pile of nachos.

Ignoring the steam rising from the plate, Matt grabbed a small handful oh the nacho's and pulled them away, the cheese stretching with him as he pulled. "These are mine. You can feed yourself!" He dropped the handful of chips onto his plate and began licking his fingers in front of Kevin with a sensual smile. Kevin blushed and quickly began eating from the larger plate making sure not to make eye contact.

"God you two are just too much!" Ian cried out laughing as he reached for his fork.

"Yeah... Something like that." Marcy growled before lifting up her sandwich.

I love this story, not to be weird or anything. I just love how Matt can be so innocent, yet so adulty! It makes me smirk! Have a good day everybody!
