Counter Offer

"It's your turn Marcy!" Exclaimed Matt as he picked up the dice and handed them to her. His fingers had been stained orange by the artificial cheese in his puffy snacks. Even though he had long since finished them all off.

"Thank you Mathew." Marcy replied graciously as she accepted the dice and looked down at the board, her battleship token was right past the go to jail space, and Kevin owned the whole row with hotels on all of them. She glanced over to Kevin who was watching her intently as she shook the dice. "Kevin how did you end up getting a whole forth of the board all to yourself?"

"I just happened to get lucky in the beginning." Kevin replied looking down at the board enthusiastically.

"Uh huh," She sighed before tossing the dice. They rolled in what seemed to be slow motion. The first of the two dice slowed to a halt on a six, then Marcy took in a deep breath as the second dice landed with a two face up.

"Ooh, you rolled an eight!" Matt giggled moving her piece for her. "You know what that means!"

Kevin spoke up before Marcy had a chance with an evil grin. "It means you owe me two thousand dollars!"

"I don't have that kind of cash!" Marcy complained as she frantically looked around her meager slush pool. "I guess I need to start selling off my houses..." She sighed as she grabbed her little green houses from her red spaces and counting with her fingers.

A few seconds passed and an evil smile crept across Kevin's face. When he spoke, his voice was mischievous making Marcy freeze and look up at him. "Wanna make a trade Marcy? I will give you both my Boardwalk and Parkplace with their hotels attached. If you let me have the dorm for the night alone without you here"

Marcy dropped the little green house in her palm and glared at him. "So you can get all touchy feely with Mathew for a whole night? No way, I wouldn't trade anything in this game to give you a night alone with my Mathew." Marcy replied huffing as she started counting again.

"Not even to keep you in the game?" Kevin tempted picking up the blue property cards and wiggling them in the air temptingly.

"Never," Marcy responded pushing them away, "and the rest of my houses means I can't, I guess I can't afford to pay you"

"Fine, you're out of the game then!" Kevin mocked causing Matt to pout as Kevin started to pick up Marcy's properties.

"Now there's no way I'll win! Kevin has all those extra properties. There's no way I'll survive now!" Matt looked at Marcy with frustration. "You should have accepted his offer, I could have won!"

"Matt I don't think you understand what's at stake if I made that deal..." Marcy replied trying to keep her voice even as she picked up the battleship.

"You gave up playing because you didn't want to find somewhere else to sleep for the night right? That seems like a silly thing to give up to keep playing!" Matt continued his pouting.

"Hey Maddy!" Kevin purred, his silky voice rolling out in what seemed like soft waves. "I'll make a trade with you!"

"Don't you dare!" Marcy cried out as she glared at Kevin with malice.

"Don't he dare what?" Matt asked confused, "What doesn't he dare to do?

"Don't listen to her." Kevin hummed, "I have a deal to make for the players only!" He glared to Marcy. "That means you have no say." He looked back over to Matt hungrily as his voice started to change into a sensual smooth tone. I will give you half of the property's I got from Marcy, you can even pick the ones you want." Matt's face lit up and looked at the red, green, and yellow property's with greed flickering in his eyes. "In exchange! I want for us to go on a date with just the two of us for a dinner alone!"

Matt looked at the cards then back up to Kevin. "No strings attached? Just a date and nothing else?"

"Just a date?" Marcy scoffed rolling her eyes annoyed. "Just a date? What a horrible deal, I would never accept a date with him for any reason."

"What's wrong with a date with my best friend? We both go on dates all the time!" Matt argued as he looked back over to her. "Are you saying that going on a date with Kevi is wrong?"

"Well..." Marcy started, but Kevin interjected cutting her off.

"Shut up Marcy, you can't influence my deal." Kevin hissed looking over at her with obvious annoyance. "Beside's it's his deal to make!"

Marcy glared back at him and started to lose her temper. "You can't just take advantage of him like this!" Marcy accused before looking at Matt with pleading eyes. "Matt please don't listen to him, that's not a fair trade! This is just a game, going out on a date for a few cards isn't worth it!"

"I said shut up Marcy!" Kevin growled, his own temper waning. "You are sticking your big fat nose where it doesn't belong."

Matt shrunk back when they started raising their voices. "It's just a game guys. Can you maybe tone it down a little?" Matt asked before picking up dice and shaking them, trying to get them focused on the game.

"I just want to make a simple deal." Kevin argued, looking over to Matt. "Maddy do you want half of the cards I got from Marcy's going bankrupt or don't you?"

"I do..." Matt started, looking back down at the cards. His heart began to beat faster, and his anxiety starting to climb higher. "But I don't understand why Marcy is getting so mad." He looks over to worried in hopes she would clarify. "Can you explain why you are so mad that he wants to go out on a date with me alone?"

"Because Matt," She answered as casual as a train wreck. "He wants to get his dirty fingers all over you! He wants to use your body in dirty ways!"

"You bitch!" Kevin spat out, slamming his fist onto the table "I just want to go and have a good time with my best friend. You are the one who straddled him and practically fucked him the other day. I know exactly what you want."

"Ugh, I can't handle this right now." Marcy grabbed Matt's arm and tugged on it. "Come on Mathew, let's go for a walk." Marcy scowled looking at Kevin with murderous eyes.

"But, what about the game?" Matt asked, his anxiety soaring. "I was going to play with Kevin for a while longer. Can't your walk wait? I wanna try and win!"

"You can't win with him." Marcy growled tugging on Matt again practically pulling him out of his seat. "Come on, let's just go before he gets his grubby man hands on you."

"We're not done playing Marcy!" Kevin growled, his hand flashing across the table and snatching Matt's other hand. "It's rude to be a poor sport. You can go for a walk all on your own if you want. Me and Maddy are playing a game we both want to finish."

"Marcy..." Matt whimpered out. "Can't you just wait a little while? Then we can go on a walk altogether? I don't want to quit playing, and I wanna go on a walk with you. Campus is beautiful this time of year. The leaves are changing colors, and campus has really pretty lights in the evening. The leaves look so pretty when they flutter to the ground. But we were right in the middle of the game!"

Taking an annoyed breath, Marcy grabbed a long strand of her hair and started to play with it letting go of his hand and sitting down with distaste. "I guess I will wait for you to finish your game. If you really wanna play sweety. Then we can go for our walk."

"Thank you Marcy!" Matt said with a soft smile, pulling out of Kevin's grasp then sitting down and grabbing the dice again. He shook the dice once more and started to calm down, he was happy they had stopped their arguing and threw the dice. The dice rolled and Kevin called out making him look up before he saw what they were.

"Hey Maddy did you want to make that deal? We can go wherever you want!" Kevin said trying to cool down. "We can go see that new fish at the aquarium!"

"OH! I wanna go to the aquarium!" Matt shrieked out excitedly before looking over to an infuriated Marcy. "Are you sure it has to be alone?"

"She doesn't like fish." Kevin countered looking at her with a victorious grin. "Besides this is a date for just the two of us." He picked up the three property tiles and held them up for Matt to see. "Is it a deal?"

Matt looked at Kevin, he was smiling then looked to Marcy was borderline snarling. "Can I go to the aquarium Marcy? It sounds like a bunch of fun..."

Continuing to twirl her hair with her long painted nails, Marcy thought about the request. "Well I guess it is filled with people, and it's a public place. So I guess he can't do too much to you..." Marcy looked over to Kevin annoyed. "I say in addition to that I get to take him on a date of my own!"

"That has nothing to do with our deal." Kevin replied not even looking at her. "You have nothing that interests me enough to get me to leave you alone with him."

"It's a deal!" Matt cried out suddenly, "I get to go on a date with Marcy, and a date with Kevin! Aand-" He snatches the property's and add's them to his collection with a happy little giggle. "I get the property's!"

"Hey that's not fair!" Kevin cried out, "Maddy give them back!"

Marcy let out a small chuckle beginning to calm down. "Enjoy your fish tanks Kevin! I am going to take him to a movie for our date. Don't wait up."

Letting out an annoyed sigh, Kevin grumbled and watched as Matt looked down and saw the dice number, then moved the top hat a few spaces. "Can I at least swap and be the battleship now? I wanted to be the battleship since the beginning."

"Nope! Once a piece is picked you're stuck with it till the end of the game." Matt giggled starting to count out his money to buy houses for his newly acquired land.

"Come on Maddy pwease!" Kevin begged running his foot up Matt's leg making Matt shiver. "Jus for meee!"

Matt shivered again as Kevin's toes reached his waist. "Oh fine!" Matt replied scooting back a little way away so that his foot was no longer touching his crotch. "You can't cheat anymore though."

"Cheat?" Kevin asked as he threw the shoe into the box and moved the battleship from Boardwalk to his current space. "When did I cheat?"

"Just now." Matt replied pointing at the battleship. "Swapping characters is cheating!"

"I'll show you cheating!" Kevin chuckled before grabbing a few five hundred dollar bill's and adding them to his already huge stack of bills. "How's that for cheating! I robbed the bank!"

"That's not fair! You can't rob the bank like that. The police would have caught you by now!" Matt pouted as he reached for the money to put it back, but Kevin grabbed his hand in his own first.

"You know you look so cute when you pout!" Kevin cooed as he snatched his money pile with his free hand before Matt could.

"Oh get a room." Marcy sighed disgusted and rolling her eye's.

"I would love to, wanna get lost?" Kevin replied looking over to her annoyed.

"In your dreams sausage sucker." Marcy spat back.

"Oh, name calling already? Normally you do that after you've been made a fool of. I guess you can handle that part all on your own!" Kevin replied even headed.

"Nope just pointing out the obvious." Marcy remarked with an equally even tone with much darker undertones.

"Can we get back to playing now?" Matt asked softly retracting his hand from Kevin's.

Kevin put down his money and stood up walking over to Marcy. "You know what, you are really getting on my nerves. I am trying to have a nice time playing a game with Maddy, and you are making it impossible to enjoy myself. Can you just go to any other part of the planet and paint your nails or something?"

"Oh please," Marcy scoffed before checking her fingernails, "We both know you are much more likely to paint your nails than me."

"G-Guy's...?" Matt asked nervously,

"Look I get it. You don't like me, the gay boy, dick sucker, but you know what you're not perfect either. You have cheated in every relationship you have ever been in. I am so sick of seeing you trying to get into Maddy's pants while you claim to love somebody else. It's disgusting!" Kevin snapped.

"At least I am supposed to have a chance! We both know you're going to hell!" Marcy spat back.

"G-Guys please!" Matt tried again, continuing to be ignored.

"Oh here we go again with your bible talk. Your hellbent because you are a religious chick with a stick so far up your ass you can't see that times have changed! You're a hypocrite! You always claim the bible when I'm around but the second you're alone you break all the oh so precious rules. How many times have you had sex? Did you get married to any of them? None of them?" He gasped in fake shock. "How weird, how about not wearing clothing blends, or maybe not to eat shrimp, your favorite seafood. You always claim the bible when it's convenient for you, but what about when it's not so convenient? When was the last time you actually went to church huh? When did you tithe last?" Kevin yelled out, his rant making her look at him in surprise.

Matt flips the game board sending pieces in every direction causing both Kevin and Marcy to freeze. "I don't want you two here anymore! You both need to move out and get different rooms!"

"Maddy!" Kevin whined.

"No!" Matt cried out, losing his own temper. "You two are always arguing, all I wanted was to play a simple game of monopoly, but you two had to get mad and argue about who gets to fuck me and make a mess of me. I've had it! I may not be smart, but I can tell when people need their own fucking space." He heads for the door and slams it behind him.
