He stared at Avneet as she descended down the stairs in her wedding lehenga. She came face to face with him and gave him the most beautiful smile. He realised how much he had missed her smile.

Avneet ( pouted dramatically ) : Sid , what kind of best friend are you ?

Siddharth looked at her confused.

Avneet ( looked in his eyes ) : It's been four years. Why did you ignore my calls and texts ? Why did you not attend my wedding ceremonies ? I missed my best friend.
Siddharth ( lied ) : I was busy.
Riyaaz ( walked to them ) : Wifey , are you ready ?
Avneet ( excitedly ) : Yes. Let's go.

Siddharth suddenly gave Avneet a tight hug and caressed her hair.
Siddharth ( deep voice ) : I missed you too idiot. I am glad that you still haven't changed all these years.

He broke the hug as she walked off smiling hand in hand with Riyaaz.

Riyaaz looked back at Siddharth and felt guilty to see him so heartbroken , but it was too late to change anything.

When Avneet looked back at Siddharth , she saw him looking at her with something in his eyes which she could never understand nor explain.
