Sunday
You got clothes from your closet and started looking at the mirror.

"Blue, or pink?" You mumbled under your breath.

"Hmmm...pink.." You smile in the mirror and put it in front of you.

You then skip along to the bathroom as you put light pink lipstick on your lips. You pop your mouth, and put cream on your face. Your face expression changes in the bathroom mirror as you realize something.

Even if I put on makeup, the person who's going on a date with Jungkook isn't me.. I wanted to go on a date with Jungkook too. Get dressed and put on makeup..go to the movies and go shopping.. Eat dinner at a little fancy restaurant...

Time Skip at the Date
"That's her.." You say as you hide behind a sign.

Areum was dressed in high heels, and was wearing a tight skirt, as you were a plain pink dress. You sighed and got lost in your thoughts of how pretty she looked. Suddenly, someone touched you from behind. You quickly turned around to remember Namjoon was also coming.

"You gotta stop doing that.." You scoff.

"Nice dress.." He looks at you up and down and shakes his head. "Okay, Areum is going to tempt Jungkook, so.. we need to follow them after Jungkook arri—" He stops talking as Jungkook walks towards her.

He was wearing a cute vest, and jeans. "Sorry, did I make you wait?" He says to Areum.

Areum smiles. "No, not at all. I just arrived."

"You look pretty in that dress.." He looks at her body.

You gasp and look at Namjoon. "She's tempting him!" He says loudly and you quickly shut him up.

"Let's go." Jungkook says to Areum and he goes off with her.

You follow along quietly behind him and pretend to be a couple with Namjoon. You swore you hear someone yell your name, but you ignore it.

They walk in the movie theater, and you tell the register lady to get seats behind them, pretending you were with them. You walk inside the movie and it looks like they were watching a sad romance movie. Of course Areum would pick that. You sit behind and watch the movie, at the same time as looking at them. A sad moment comes, and Areum pretends to cry. She then was going to lay her head on Jungkook, but you quickly put a paper on his shoulder making her confused and go back to his position. You duck down so Areum wouldn't see you.

"You have a bit of ketchup on your face, Joonie.." You look at his cheek where his dimple was.

"Oh.." He replies and takes it off.

A bit later in the movie, Areum begins to stretch. You watch her closely as she was about to put her hand on Jungkook's hand. You quickly grab Namjoon's popcorn and throw it on her. She stands up and looks behind her as you cover your face with a newspaper, getting really close to Namjoon.

"What is wrong with you?!" She says.

"Sit down, I can't see." Someone says from behind you as she pouts and sits back down.

You giggle to yourself as you lower the newspaper from your face.

The movie was about to end, and you quickly got out of the room and hid behind a wall. They both come out early, too.

"Want to go get a drink?" Jungkook says to Areum.

She nods and they both head off as you both follow again. They sit down in a nearby coffee shop and start talking as you sit near them with another newspaper on your face.

"I've been interested in you for a while.." Areum starts.

"You're an amazing tennis player, handsome, super smart, and your dad is the CEO of a company, right? I thought you were going to go to another university, but when I heard you were going to this one.. I was happy.."

"Is that so?" Jungkook replies and smirks.

"What type of girls do you like?" She asks, and Jungkook's smile grows wider.

You inch closer, as they almost saw you.

"Type?" He repeats. "Let's see.. beautiful, smart, and must cook."

"y/n.." Namjoon calls your attention, making you draw back out of sight. "You're beautiful, don't worry." He winks at you and your heart starts fluttering.

"Thanks, you don't have to cheer me up.." You let out a smile.

"So what do you think...? Don't we make a good couple?" Areum smiles to herself.

"Probably." He replies.

You squeal loudly, and Namjoon covers your mouth.

She continues. "We have time after dinner..want to go shopping with me?"

He nods. "Sure."

You and Namjoon sip your drinks furiously, and continue to follow them cautiously.

"This one, or this one?" She raises to outfits to Jungkook.

"The blue one will fit you." He touches the blue dress.

She walks inside the dressing room and he walks around the store. He picks up a necklace made out of blue jewels.

"Why is he looking at women accessories?" You mumble.

"Is he getting her a gift?!" Namjoon says in a panicked voice as you both watch him from outside the window.

"I've been living with him for years, and he hasn't given me a gift yet.." You pout.

He walks up to Areum.

"Hey Jungkook, can you zip this dress up for me~?" She chimes.

Jungkook does as she says, and you have the perfect view.

You sigh. "Don't you think they are perfect for each other?"

"What? What makes you say that? Don't be dumb!" Namjoon looks at you.

They walk out. "Want me to hold the bag for you?" Jungkook says to Areum.

She nods and Jungkook takes her bag. They walk again and you both continue to follow.

"I'd like a pair of new shoes, I've seen some that I really li—" She gets cut off by Jungkook.

"Watch out!" He pulls her to the side from a guy riding a bicycle her way.

"Are you okay?" He looks at her. "Good you didn't get hurt."

She smiles to herself, and they keep walking.

You pause and look down. "Namjoon, I'm going home now.."

"What?" He stops and looks at you.

"I can't watch them anymore..." You mumble.

"That's the point, we're here to prevent what we can't bear to watch.." He responds.

"But there's not point if they like each other. It's too miserable. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna go.." You say sadly and start walking away after giving him a bow.

You walk away, but someone runs into you and spills a drink they were carrying on themselves.

He spills the drink on you. "Watch where you're going!" He yells.

"I'll pay!" Namjoon quickly reacts and runs over to you.

"That's not enough! It's 2500 dollars!" He angrily says.

"What can I do?!" You panic.

"I'll pay. Here, have 1050." Namjoon says quickly.

He ignores Namjoon and looks at you. "You. Why don't you come with me to my office and we can discuss this?" He suddenly grabs your wrist and drags you with him.

"Please, help!" You yell.

I was being punished because I was ruining someone else's date..

"Let's go now." He grabs you harder.

"That'd be 2500 dollars." A familiar voice says from behind him.

You and the guy both turn around, and see Jungkook standing still.

"What did you say?" The guy walks towards him.

"The fee for the cheap shirt will be 2500." Jungkook says.

"Wait, why are you here?" Areum examines you.

"Don't be so arrogant!" The guy yells and tries for a punch.

Jungkook ducks, and the guy continues to throw reckless punches. However, Jungkook dodges all punches, and the guy falls to the ground by tripping.

"He's so amazing!" You and Areum say at the same time, and look at each other weirdly.

"Namjoon, since you've been tailing us all day—it's your lucky day. Go and use your strength to win Areum's heart." He pushes him lightly towards her.

Jungkook runs up to you and grabs your hand.

"Sorry, I have to go.." He looks at Areum and starts running while he holds your hand and drags you behind.

Everything was passing too fast, Jungkook was running away with you. He looked...calm.

It's like a dream..

You think, and trip on a rock as he loses the grip on your hand. He stops running, and looks down at you. He then grabs your hand and helps you up. You look at him dumb founded, but he continues running, not losing the tight grip of your hand. You both run through a short bridge, and through streets.

I wish..time would stop right now...

You both continue running and he goes down stairs to small bridge with water surrounding it, and boats in the water. He stops at the middle of the bridge and huffs.

"We'll be..okay now." He says between breaths.

You look at him huff and lean on the bridge fence and you catch your breaths as well. You just blankly stare at his face.

"Jungkook..you noticed our tailing..?" You questioned.

"Yes. The moment I got to the place, I noticed your creepy tailing after hearing Namjoon's screech, and I knew you would come." He replies.

"So you knew Namjoon had a crush on Areum?" You tilted your head as he also leaned on the fence.

"I thought you and Namjoon were a couple until yesterday.." He said. "But I knew you two were following us. It was so funny to see your reaction." He lets out a bunny smile, and laughs.

"I'm sorry!" You bow with a worried expression.

"I couldn't control myself when I heard you were going on a date with Areum..but if you like Areum, I got in your way.." You hold your purse anxiously.

"Want to go somewhere?" He says randomly.

"What?" You reply and look up at him. He looks back down at you with a pause.

"Okay." He says with a pause, he looked..almost disappointed. "I'll go home."

He walks slowly away.

"I'll go!" You yelled, and he stops, almost as if he knew it was going to happen.

You run up to him. "Yes, yes, yes! I'll go, I'll go!" You jump up and down excitedly.

"Just say it once.." He looks down at you.

"I'm sorry~" You chime and dart your eyes to the side.

"Where shall we go?" He says.

You perk your head back up at him, and widen your eyes. "Then, a movie theater! Well, we already went there, so...shopping..and then a nice restaurant!" You giggle.

"Eating in that?" He gestures at your drink-spilled dress.

You look down and gasp, remembering the guy. He starts walking away.

"Right, you'll be embarrassed if I'm like this." You smile awkwardly and follow behind him.

"Come on." He says and a soft smile grows from your lips as you follow beside him cheerfully.

You both walk side to side and you spot another bigger bridge with more boats and a fountain. You run to it and look at the boats as the sun seems to be going down.

"It's so pretty! Isn't it, Jungkook?"

You turn around, and Jungkook was nowhere to be found.

"Jungkook?" You call out.

You look around, but he was nowhere to be found.

You run around the whole place, trying to look for him as you call his name. After searching the place two times, you give up and go back to the bridge with the fountain. You rest your arms on the fence and sigh.

Is he playing with me again?

You look off into the horizon as the sunset was bright and clear. Someone puts a bag in front of your face, drawing your attention.

"You can't go to a restaurant like that. Here's dinner." Jungkook hands you a green bag.

You sit down on a nearby bench next to him, and unwrap the paper around the hamburger he bought. He sips a drink he had from his hands. You take a bite out of the hamburger.

"It's delicious~" You chime.

"Anything is when you're hungry." He replies.

No tasty dessert, breakfast, or dinner could win against this hamburger.. You stare at the hamburger while smiling and continue taking little bites out of it.

Jungkook gets out of his seat, and walks towards the fence. You follow next to him and continue eating the hamburger.

He breaks the silence. "I've never experienced anything hard until a while ago..but since my last year of high school..since I got that love letter from you.. almost every day has been a series of continuous hardships and frustrations."

"Maybe you're the first trial I was given.." He mumbles.

"Trial?" You repeat.

He continues. "I was confused by the first trial I was given..so I tried to run away from it."

You scoff. He's treating you like a pet.

"But..compared to a life without hardships..It's more easier to face these trials..thank you." He says, and you look at him with a confused expression.

You then look down at the ground.

"If you don't understand, it's okay.." He sighs.

"No, I understand—You wanted to get away from me, but now you want to—" You cut yourself off and gasp. "Do you want to marry me?! Is this a proposal?!" You say excitedly.

He cringes as he slurps his drink. "Stupid, how could you think that?"

"Right." You reply.

"I'm saying that—" He pauses, and continues. "I don't mind being in the same house as you.." He mumbles.

You look up at him. "So that means..you don't..hate me?"

"You're hard to deal with..but I don't hate you." He finally looks back down at you.

You smile at the ground as tears start dwelling your eyes. You sniffle, and he continues to look at you.

"Now not just your clothing, but your face will be a disaster." He sighs.

He sees you sobbing, and hands you a mini towel from his pocket. You blow into it and continue sobbing.

After an unexpected turn of events, I won my first date with Jungkook. It was completely different of what I dreamed of, but.. more than our first kiss...or the first time he held me.. I felt Jungkook...was even closer to me..

You walk down the stairs after fixing your hair in the bathroom.

"No! Are you serious?! Right after y/n moves in, you want to move out?" You hear Mrs. Jeon say loudly and you decide to eavesdrop.

Your heart shatters into a million pieces, and you can feel your slow heartbeat.
