J-Hope's POV

We saw y/n fall to the ground outside, so we quickly ran to her and I picked her up. She had been walking around sloppily the whole day.. She must've been shocked knowing that Jungkook lives with Areum.. God, I'm so mad at that idiot right now. We took her to the nurse and her temperature was high. The nurse told me and Jihyun that she would wake up soon, and that there was something that shocked her recently. Jihyun got angry and stormed out of the room. I followed behind her and asked what was going on.

"I have to find Jungkook." She says angrily and storms off to the Class A classrooms.

I didn't say anything, but just followed behind her. She was kind of right...This is all Jungkook's fault.

She opened the door harshly and yelled. "Where is Jeon Jungkook?!" She looked around the room.

I smiled embarrassingly at the class, and looked around helplessly. The students looked shocked, but just pointed behind where he was sitting. We both walked up to him and Jihyun sat down. I sat down next to her.

"Come with us, we have something to show you." Jihyun said in a stern tone.

"Who are you?" Jungkook replied and looked at both of you.

"We were with you in the same high school! Even though you got about...I don't know.. 200 IQ, you still don't remember us?!" I say angrily.

"I don't remember something that's a waste.." He gets up and grabs his bag.

"He's so annoying!" Jihyun groans and cringes.

"..Oh, I remember..." He speaks up, and me and Jihyun look at him.
"You both have the same level brains as y/n." He chuckles and puts a book in his bag.

"You're J-Hope.." He points at Jihyun. "You're Jihyun.." He points at me.

"The other way around, dumb dumb!" Jihyun is infuriated.

"What do you want?" He asks calmly and puts his bag on his shoulder as he was ready to leave the room.

"It's about y/n.. Lately... she's been hurt, because of you.." She pretends to cry, giving me a bit of cringe.

"Because of me?" He asks curiously.

"You think we don't know? ..About you living with her? y/n followed you and Areum home, and she saw it with her own two eyes! She waited the whole night!" Jihyun says, and Jungkook continues putting books in his bag quietly as he looked kind of confused.

I speak up. "Although you know y/n's feelings towards you, you moved out of the house.. and started living with someone secretly! Don't leave her in the dark, if you are a real man, tell her directly and straightforward!"

"Hmmm... so I tell her straightforward?" He asks and looks at both of us.

"Well, consider it.. If you learned how to love, then.. now you understand her feelings of a human, right? Anyway, don't make y/n suffer anymore.." Jihyun smiles awkwardly.

"I won't tell you to stop loving Areum..But at least, if there's no chance.. I want you to lead y/n to give up on you.." I say, more calmer than before.

"Please." Jihyun bows, and I follow her bow.

"Anyway, that's what I wanted to tell you. Bye." Jihyun says as she grabs my hand and takes me outside.

After School
Y/N's POV

"Here we are.. Are you okay, y/n?" Jin asks you as he gets out of his truck and steps in front of the mansion.

You nod in response to his question.

"Yes. I'm sorry you have to go work.. See you later.. and thank you." You bow to him, and start walking inside the mansion.

"y/n~" He calls your name with a cute voice.
"I'm here for you.. Always. Anytime. I'll be close to you, right here.. That's all. Get well soon~ I'll cook you delicious food."

"Jin... I'm sorry..." You apologize.

"It's not the situation for you to apologize..." He pouts.

"See you." You laugh nervously and start walking inside again.

"Eat well and get some rest!" He calls out to you.

"Thank you.." You mumble and look up at the night sky.

He leaves and you walk upstairs to your bedroom. You'd hear Jimin crying, and Mrs. Jeon shushing him quietly. You step in your room, and get on the bed. You think to yourself and get lost in your thoughts. Maybe too much..

"Does that mean you hate me?" You look up at him.

"You're hard to deal with..but I don't hate you." He looks into your eyes.

...

"Jungkook, do you like amusement parks?" Areum smiles up at him.

"Yes, but I never have the chance to go to them." He replies.

...

You then remember Jihyun's words from today.

"I understand that you're heartbroken, but he's not the only guy.."

"y/n.... i'm here for you.. anytime." Jin smiles.

..What am I doing..?
...Why am I thinking of Jin...?

"y/n, are you sure you're okay?" Mrs. Jeon asks you as you were about to walk to school.

"Me? I'm fine!" You force a smile on yourself. "I'll see you later, Mrs. Jeon~" You wave her off and start walking towards the school by yourself.

..I have to pull myself together..I have to become okay for real. I can't cause trouble for anyone anymore..

All right.

I'll cheer myself up!

You walk cheerfully and spot the school ahead. You're going to punch the day in the face, and be happy! You see a familiar figure in the corner of your eye, and look at it. You saw Jungkook staring at the distance and you try to walk past him without interaction.

"Good morning." You mutter and continue to walk.

"Wait." He says with his cold, stern voice as you stop walking.

"Come with me." He says in a more laid-back voice. He starts walking and well, you're going to follow behind him. Silently.

"How do you like your new place?" You ask with a smile and adjust your bag.

"It's nice. It's pretty big, too." He says with his hands in his jean pockets as he continues walking.

Of course, he has a mansion..

"How are you doing with meals?" You walk beside him cheerfully.

"I eat at a cafe or have something made for me.." He replies.

..as I thought..

You stop walking and speak up. "Listen.."

You look up at him nervously and continue talking. "I think it's wonderful to fall in love.."

"What are you saying all of a sudden..?" Jungkook looks at you oddly.

"I've been.. in an unrequited love with you..it may have been a nuisance to you, but I could accomplish things because of it.. If I stayed as I was, I may have not been able to graduate. I know that.. it might be nothing for you, but it was a big deal for me.." You look down.

"Summarize what you want to say." He says.

"I mean.. if you have somebody you love, I want to be happy about it.. Of course I'm disappointed.. but if you like Areum, and she likes you, then if you live happily together I'm good with it. I'll back you up.." You smile reassuringly up at him.

"Jungkook!" A younger looking girl starts running to him.

"Is this... y/n l/n?" She says to you cheerfully.

"How do you know who I am?" You ask.

"Because.. you're just like what I've heard.. unintelligent and clumsy.." She smiles.

"Who would say that?!" You reply, and Jungkook shifts a bit awkwardly.

"Jungkook and my sister." She replies.

You gasp. "Your sister..? Is your sister.." Areum follows behind her and walks beside her.

"My name is Ayano.. I'm a senior in high school. Didn't Jungkook tell you about us? Jungkook comes to our house and.." You cut her off.

"I know. You live together. I wish you happiness, Areum." You scoff.

"What are you talking about? Jungkook is tutoring me at our house.." Ayano says in confusion.

"He's...tutoring..?" You reply.

"I'm planning to come to this university next year, so my sister introduced me to him 3 times a week. Jungkook is tutoring me."

"It's a good part-time job at Areum's. Meals are included." Jungkook says as you look at him with an expression.

You feel your heart pounding out of your chest super quickly.

"Tour me around, Jungkook and Areum!" She says cheerfully and walks off.

Jungkook follows behind them and looks back at you. "So what did you say..? You approve of me living with Areum? You're having my back?" He asks.

You widen your eyes and run to him. "No, no, no! I take back everything I said! I'm strongly against it!" You yell.

"You're so loud.." He says.

"I moved out to he with myself.. why would I bother living with someone? See you, y/n." He says and continues walking towards Areum and Ayano.

"Areum!!" Namjoon yells from behind as he runs to you.

"She doesn't live with Jungkook!!!" You exclaim to him.

"She lives with Jungkook?!" He says in a mad tone.

"What? No. No! They don't!" You giggle.

"Oh.. I don't know what you're talking about, but where is she?" He asks.

"..but why did Jungkook tell Areum where he works..?" You mutter to yourself, but Namjoon heard.

"He did? No he didn't.. I told her.. I introduced Jungkook that place..." He replies.

"You did?!" You exclaim with glee. "So she lied to me!"

"I'm so happy!!!" You yell.

You spent the last hours of school with Namjoon, and in the middle of the conversation, you thought to yourself.

So I guess I misunderstood.. I'm so glad it was a misunderstanding..

But if so, why did Jungkook start living by himself?

"It's okay!" You exclaim to Namjoon and cling to his arm as you poke his dimple.

"Great! Let's go there." He replies.

You swore you saw a familiar, tall figure looking at you and Namjoon in the distance, but you shrugged it off.

"My eyes see you, I see you, but you don't see me."
