Subaru's POV
"It's so beautiful." Yume said as she stares at her ring.

The ring has a ruby on it to bring out her eyes. I'm glad she likes it.

But...

There's...

One more thing I have to tell her.

"Yume, I..." I stopped as she turns to me with the brightest smile ever, "I...I'm glad you like it." I said as I hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead.

She smiles as a blush spreads across her cheeks.

"Yume, I....I ha--"

The door of the top of the tower suddenly burst wide open interrupting me. Mahiru, Ako, Koharu, Rei, Kirara, Kanata, Asahi and....Yuzu? Well, they were there at the hallway.

"Yuzu found them!" Yuzu cheered.

"What the hell?" I asked as I sweatdropped. "She insisted." Rei-san said as she points at Yuzu.

My nauseous attacks once more. I tried to fight it. My eyesight became blurry and everything seemed like there two or three figures.

"Subaru?"

"Buddy, you okay?"

I can't even distinguish who is talking.

I fell on the dirty floor.

"Subaru!"

"Subaru, bro!"

"Subaru, are you okay?"

"Someone call the medic!"

"Everything's going to be fine, Subaru."

Yume.

Then, black.

I woke up finding myself on the hospital bed. I looked around, only spotting my mom.

"Mom?" I mumbled. "Subaru, I'm glad you're awake." She said, "You've been asleep for five days!" She exclaimed in a worry.

Five days?!

"Where are the others?" I asked.

Exactly, the door opened and five people entered. The rest of M4 and Aria. I looked at them and figured Yume is not with them.

"Wh-where's Yume?" I asked. "She was here five days ago, sweetie. Maybe she's busy." My mom said. I wasn't satisfied with her answer.

My mom kisses my forehead as if I'm still five years old, "I'll be back to buy you some food." She said then left.

I looked at the five people infront of me.

BAMM!

I looked over to Asahi that was standing by the wall. His fist on the wall while he's looking down and trembling.

"The hell, Subaru..." He murmured, "What the fucking hell?! Why didn't  you tell us you're sick?!" He bursted in anger as he glares at me with tears in his eyes.

I've never...seen him get angry before.

"Asahi, contain yourself." Kanata said calmly. "I can't! He.....didn't tell us that he's nearly dying!" Asahi cried while glaring at me, "What....what kind of shitty friend is he of not telling his friends of what he's going through?!"

"Asahi, I can explain." I said trying to calm him down. "I don't need your fucking explanation! You lied to us! You have no idea what Yume is going through right now!" He cursed as tears spilled down.

Yume!

"Why? What happened when I was out?" I was panicking.

"Your mom kicked her out." Aria finally spoke.

Shit!

I looked down as I gripped my hair. "I'm horrible." I said. "I'm glad you know that." Asahi grumbled, "You lied to us. I'm fucking out of here." He said and left.

"Sorry about Asahi." Nozomu apologized. "No, he's right." I said as I shook my head.

"How dumb of you not to tell us." Kanata said in a serious tone.

You don't need to tell me. I know that.

"I know I fucked up. But help me see Yume." I begged to them. They all looked down, "That...would be impossible." Aria said.

What?

"Your mom filed a report on Yume and Yume was ordered not to get closer to you." Nozomu explained, "She has to be atleast 60 meters away from you." He added.

I clenched my fist.

"That's impossible! And it won't work this time!" I protested thinking of our engagement and marriage.

"Subaru, it's okay. We'll find a way." Kanata comforted.

Tears slowly spilled as I shook my head frantically.

Aria's POV
I stood there watching the scene unfold.

"I'm gonna get some fresh air." I said to Nozomu then left the room.

I walked down the hallways remembering what happened earlier and five days ago.

"Everything happens so fast." I mumbled.

"Indeed it does." Someone said.

I looked up and saw Asahi leaning in the wall looking down, clearly he's angry.

"I don't understand why he has to hide his sickness. We could've help him." He reasoned in a low voice, "But he didn't. He...he hurt us, his friends. He hurt Yume." He added.

I looked down, he's right. Subaru had hurted Yume so much. I clenched my fists as I glared at the floor.

"Asahi, why is life so unfair?" I asked.

Asahi's POV
I widened my eyes from the question as I remembered what happened five days ago.

"Asahi, why didn't Subaru tell us? Why....why is life so unfair?"

Yume...I'm sorry I can't answer you.

"I can't answer that." I said as I walked away.

I went outside the hospital to breathe some fresh air. Suddenly someone tapped me on the back. I turned around, "Asahi, is Subaru awake?" It was Koharu.

I smiled, "Yeah he is." I said. Koharu hands me a paper bag. "Yume asked me to deliver these caneles to him, is it okay?" She asked timidly. I nodded with a smile as I escort her to Subaru's room.

Maybe there's still hope for both of them.

Done! So sorry! I was stressed with school. Unlike before, I used to update most of the time but now it's like every one-three months you get an update. (3rd year HS or Grade 9 is tougher than I thought)

In the next chapter, it will feature what happened next after Subaru fainted on Yume's side.
