Subaru's POV
I held Yume's hand while sitting down on the chair next to her. I stared at her sleeping figure.

She looks so peaceful...

But tired...

Yume slowly fluttered her eyes open and smiled. She looks so stressed. "Hello." She greeted, her voice not that good.

I kissed her hand, "Hello, my love." I greeted while holding her hand, "Don't do that, ever again." I whispered.

"I promise." She replied weakly.

Yume slowly gets up, "Let's go to the rooftop." She suggested. "I'll carry you." I said as I lifted her up for a piggy back ride.

I walked to the rooftop with Yume on my back. I felt Yume's breath hitting my skin, her arms wrapping around my neck. I smiled as a small blush spreads on my cheeks.

We soon reached the rooftop. I settled her down gently and held her hand. That's when I noticed, Yume's hair is down, messy but beautiful.

"Hey, let's dance." I offered as I hold out my hand. Yume looks at me confused then smiles. She accepts this.

"There's no music." Yume said with a giggle. "Then we'll make one." I answered.

I took a deep breath and let it out.

(Play music now)

I placed my free hand on her waist and pulled her close.

"I'm only one call away. I'll be there to save the day." I sang as we began to dance, "Superman got nothing on me. I'm only one call away."

Yume looks at me in awe as she dances along.

"Call me, baby, if you need a friend. I just wanna give you love."

C'mon, c'mon, c'mon

"Reaching out to you, so take a chance." I breathed the tune as I pulled her close, "No matter where you go, know you're not alone."

"Come along with me and don't be scared." I whispered in a tune.

"C'mon, c'mon, c'mon." I sang as we continue dancing, "You and me can make it up, anyway."

"For now, we can stay here for a while." I finally Yume's angelic singing voice. "Cause I know, you just wanna see mh smile."

"No matter where you go, know you're not alone." I sang.

"You're only one call away." Yume sang as she lets go of my hand turns around dancing. I smiled and sang, "I'll be there to save the day."

"When you're weak I'll be strong." I sang as I her in my embrace. "I'm gonna keep holding on." Yume sang.

Now don't you worry, it won't be long

"Darling," I said as I let go and walk a few steps away from her, "if you feel like hope is gone, just run into my arms." Yume ran to me as she embraces me and I lift her up.

I kissed her forehead and murmured the tune against her skin, "I'm only one call away, I'll be there to save the day. Superman got nothing on me. I'm only one call away."

"You're only one call away." Yume whispered.

"That's why, if you feel problematic, I'll always be here. Just call me." I said, intertwining our fingers, "Promise?"

She nods as tears roll down her cheeks, "Yes!"

I'm not rushing this book...and yeah chapters are getting shorter. But I will explain don't worry! I'll try updating at December 31
