Yume's POV
My alarm rang as I lazily turn it off.

"What date is it today?" I asked myself as I look at my calendar, my eyes still heavy.

My eyes widened as I realized what day it is.

He will be discharged today!

I immediately get ready and bathe.

"Which outfit should I wear?" I asked myself as I search through my wardrobe.

I hurriedly ran out of the academy after choosing an outfit and getting the permission to leave.

I ran to the hospital which I have no idea why I didn't pick up a cab. I soon reached the hospital. I saw the other members of M4, along with Subaru's mom at the entrance.

I'm dead.

"Yume!" Asahi called.

Subaru's mom immediately turns her head to my direction as she glares. She fixes her composure as soon as I approached them.

"So you're the person they are waiting for. Let's get going." Mrs. Yūki said coldly as she enters the hospital.

I walked between Nozomu and Asahi, while Kanata walking beside Asahi.

"Did I make her wait?" I asked Asahi, more like a whispered.

"No, not at all." He replied in a whisper.

"To be honest, she was annoyed on what took you so long." Kanata said bluntly, softly.

"Kanata!" Nozomu retorted softly.

I sighed in disbelief, "I ran my way here." I reasoned.

"That's okay, Yume!" Asahi said, "Atleast you came." He smiled.

I smiled, feeling relieved. But I can't help, but feel anxious. Especially with Mrs. Yūki around. The feeling of being hated and despised by your lover's parents, scary.

"Sorry, Yume. I shouldn't have told you that earlier." Kanata apologized.

"No! No! You're not at fault." I said.

He smiled, "Mrs. Yūki is really scary." He whispered. I laughed, I'm glad Subaru didn't get the trait from his mom. If he did, I might be shivering in fear with him right now.

We soon reached Subaru's room. We entered, and saw Subaru watching TV.

"Yo, Subaru!" Nozomu called.

"Yo!" Subaru greeted with a smile.

I greeted him also but regretted a bit when his mom glared at me. She beckoned to follow her so I did.

"Yume?" Subaru called.

I nodded my head with a smile signifying that it's fine.

We head to the rooftop. She looks at me straight in the eyes.

"Yume, you know I dislike you." Mrs. Yūki said.

I looked down.

"I have favor to ask if you want me to like you." She offered.

I looked up hoping the favor is not hard. "Anything if it means for you to accept me." I replied.

"Break up with my son before it's too late and if you don't want to be hurt." She said bluntly.

Then, silence.

"Subaru, why didn't you tell me?"
"I was scared."
"But you didn't trust me."
"No, I do."

She looks down crying, cannot dare to look at him.

"Yume, I love you and I do. So before it all falls down, I have one question for you to answer." He said, "Will you...
