Next Morning (One day before engagement)

Nandini was in her Art gallery. She was trying to refresh her mind by making painting but couldn't. The work which used to give her peace was not doing anything . Because she had found peace in him , now.
"In two days before our engagement , I will make you realise that you have feelings for me. That's my promise to you , Angel" His words were again and again ringing in her mind. She was thinking that what he would do. She was even upset because of not getting his morning message. In few days only , she got habitual of reading his morning message. Starting her day with reading his message , it used to bring smile on her face and after that their never ending conversation. Because of that conversation only, she used to stay all day happy.

Everything was going good until Manik didn't show her the reality that she had feeling for him. She was ready for the marriage , In fact she was happy with him. But she was afraid of falling in love. She was afraid to give her heart again to someone else. Before the reality check , she was having no clue that she was falling for him. But after  that she started running from the reality and started running from her own feelings. Only because she didn't want to be broken again. She was afraid of going through the same pain. After his betrayal, she never  blamed him , she blamed herself for loving him truly. She called herself fool for seeing true love in his eyes and for giving her heart and soul to him. She devoted herself to him. Now she had fear of doing the same mistake again because her first love was also true for her. This was the only reason , she was running from the reality.

"Mumma mein jab daddy aul aap jesa bala hojaunga na tabh mein doctor banuga. Aur fil jab aapko khi ue hogi na toh mele pass ana. Thikhai mumma. (Mumma I will become doctor)" Muskan was sitting on bed and telling her mother about her future plans. She was playing with Doctor set , wearing the stethoscope and hearing the heartbeat of her teddy bear which was kept on her lap. The teddy bear was her patient.

"For that you have to study a lot." Zoya smiled , listening her words  and said. She was sitting behind her and combing her hair.

"Daddy.."she yelled , running toward the door when she saw her father walking inside the room. He picked his princess in his arms.
"Daddy , do you know ? Mein bala hokal doctor banuga." Muskan was telling him and he was sitting her hair which got messed up. Zoya walked toward them.

"Really , Now you want to become doctor. Last week you want to become a business man like your father. Last to last week you want to become singer like your chachu." Adi laughed saying this and Muskan was also laughing cutely, covering her mouth with her hand.

"Daddy , Mujhe sabh bana bai. Doctor bhi , singal bhi aur jo aap ho voh bhi." Zoya and Adi laughed when she pronounced singer as singal.

"Musu , It's singer , not singal." Zoya tried to correct her.

"Ale Vohe toh bola meine singal." She said immediately, pronouncing it still wrongly. This made Zoya and Aditya laugh more louder.

Manik was sitting on floor , taking support of bed. He was tuning the guitar and the low pitch melodies sound was coming out. There was sadness on his face. He wanted to talk with her but couldn't because he decided to ignore her to make her realise her feelings. He was sure that when she would miss him then only she would realise his importance in her life.

The moments which he had spent with her were coming in front of his eyes like a movie was playing in front of his eyes. His face was clearly showing that how much sad he was to ignore her. Spending One day without talking to her was like spending a one year without her. In few days only , she had became a important part of his life. Now he couldn't even imagine his life without her. He needed her in his life badly. His life was perfect for him until he didn't meet her but after meeting her , he came to know that something was missing in his life and that something was love. Till few days back , they were strangers on the path and now she resided in his heart and soul.

"Chachu , Chachu.." Muskan's walked inside Manik's room , calling him. He came on the earth back , listening her sweet voice. A smile came on his face , seeing her. He kept the guitar on bed and made her sit on his lap.
"Tomolow aapki e... musu toh bhul hi gye ki kal apki kya hai. (Tomorrow is your e.. , Musu forgot that what is tomorrow)" she said cutely, playing with her fingers. Her words made her chachu smile broadly. She was lightening up his mood.

"Tomorrow is my engagement Musu." He said and kissed her cheeks , wrapping his hand around her small stomach.

"End..ende.. oh.. ho.. yeh word toh kitu difficult hai. (It's so difficult for me to pronounce this word.)" Muskan said , slapping her forehead slightly.
"Aap sabh log isse ita easily kese bol lete ho?
(How you all pronounce it so easily?)"She asked from him , turning her face toward him. She was finding difficult in pronouncing the word engagement. 

"It's en.. gage.. ment.." Manik tried to make her pronounce the word.
"Endagement.." she got super happy when she say the full word. She said and clapped her hands , jumping on his lap. She pronounced it wrongly but still it was a big achievement for a small girl like Muskan.

"Very good Musu.." Manik praised her and again kissed her cheeks.

"Vese mujhe aapse yeh puchna tha ki endagement pal hota kya hai ? ( i wanted to ask that what happened in engagement)" she asked confusingly , looking at Manik. She was having no idea about the word engagement.

"In this , the couple who are going to get married , that couple  exchange the rings with each other. Tomorrow Chachi will slide the ring in my finger and Chachu will slide the ring in your chachi's finger." Manik tried to explain in the most easiest way it was possible. Muskan opened her mouth making 0 shape.

"Chachu toh meli endagement kab hogi. Musu ko bhi ling exchange kalni hai. Chachu meli bhi endagement kalwa do na kal , please. (Chachu when I will be get engaged. Musu also wanted to exchange the rings.)" She requested him innocently. Manik was looking at her , widening his eyes. Her this wish , he couldn't fulfil at that time.

"Musu , You are a small kid. When you will be grown up then Chachu will fulfil your this wish. For now enjoy chachu's engagement." Manik said and she nodded her head sadly , saying 'Okay'. She became sad because she also wanted to get engaged. Manik gave her chocolates and with in few seconds , she became happy. Kids are like this only.

In evening, Nandini came to Malhotra's Mansion to try her engagement dress. Inside her heart was happy that she got a chance to meet Manik. She was drinking the juice, sitting with Neyonika and Mukti in the hall. Her eyes were only searching him in every corner of the house.

"Where is everyone ? I mean Muskan ,  Zoya babhi and Cabir ?" She asked from Mukti and Neyonika. She wanted to ask about Manik also but she was feeling shy to ask about Manik directly.

"They went out for shopping and Manik is in his room." Mukti told her about Manik also understanding  that she needed to know about Manik only. Cabir came there and they both greeted each other. Neyonika asked Cabir to call Manik. After that Cabir went to call Manik and Nandini became happy.

Manik was setting his hair , standing in front of mirror when Cabir walked inside his room.
"Bhaiya bahar koe aaya hai.. ( Bro , somebody has came outside)" Cabir said walking toward him. Manik turned around and stared him. Cabir was smiling like a fool standing in front of him.

"Aisa kon aagya  bahi , jo tere face se yeh smile hi nhi ja rhi hai ? (Who has came that the smile is not leaving your face ?)" Manik asked , pointing his index finger toward his smiling lips.

"Nandini Bhabhi has came." Cabir said and listening this , a smile spread across his face. But with a second, the smile got vanished when he remembered that he has  to ignore her and that's why he couldn't even go to meet  her.

"You go , I am coming." Manik said casually and turning around , he again started setting his hair. Cabir was shocked to see his  so boring reaction. He thought that his brother would start jumping in happiness. He left from there last time looking at Manik suspiciously.

"I won't meet her. Because if I will meet her then my plan will be not get successful." Manik said to himself after Cabir left. Then he walked outside after picking up his jacket from the bed.

He looked at Nandini from upstairs. Nandini started looking  here and there as she could feel that his eyes were looking at her. She could feel his presence. On the other side , he wanted to go and talk to her but couldn't.

" I need to control myself and I will not look at her" Manik said to himself. He took a deep breath and started going downstairs and he was trying hard to not look at her. Before anybody could stop him , he ran out of the house.  But Nandini eyes caught him. She felt hurt when he walked out like she was not even presented there. Her eyes became teary but she controlled her tears from falling down.

Manik was peeping inside from the door , standing outside of the house. He was looking at Nandini.
" I know it hurts a lot when a person ignores you. But I have to do this. You need to realise your feelings. I am sorry Angel for hurting you." He apologised from her when he saw her eyes getting wet. He left from there after last time peeping inside. The way he was peeping inside like a small kid , he was looking adorable.

She came back home and She was getting restless because Manik was not talking to her. His ignorance was affecting her a lot. She was going crazy , thinking that why he was affecting her a lot. Her mind was blasting. She needed something to relax her mind fast or else her mind would get explode.

"I need to do this. It will surely help me." She said to herself, walking out of her room. She walked inside her father's room. He was not at home. She opened his cupboard and took a bottle of alcohol. Her father used to drink sometime like when he used to feel lonely and miss her mother . That's why he always kept stock of alcohol with him. Nandini opened the bottle and started drinking. It was not the first time , she was doing this. She used to do this frequently.

Driving the car in drunk state , she reached Malhotra Mansion because she wanted to talk to Manik. She was completely out of her mind and that's why she was listening to her heart. She came here to meet Manik. She walked inside and nobody stopped her. Her legs were shaking. She was not even able to walk properly. This was the affect of drinking Alcohol. Luckily no family member was presented in the hall.

"Where is Manik's room.  ? There.." she said pointing her index finger toward Neyonika's room.
"Or there.." she said now pointing her finger towards the Manik's room . She thought for a moment , putting her finger on her chin cutely and her eyes were looking upward.
"I think there only." She said looking at the Neyonika's room. She started walking toward the wrong room. It was clearly seemed that she was going to create a big trouble for herself.

At night Manik came back home from studio. He was looking sad because he was ignoring Nandini. He was missing her. He walked inside his room and closed the door. He walked toward the cupboard to take out his lower. Opening the cupboard, he got the biggest shock of his life.

He found Nandini sitting in his cupboard in between his cloth. She smiled showing her all the teeth to him. Manik rubbed his eyes because he thought for a moment that he was dreaming with open eyes. Because it was unbelievable for him. He never expected that one day he would find her sitting in his cupboard.

"Oh.. Hi Manik" She greeted him , waving her hand in front of him cutely. Manik was staring her like he saw a ghost.

"What are you doing in my cupboard Nandini?" He asked being clueless about her presence.

"I.." She put her finger on her chin and thought for a moment , stretching the word I.
"Bhar bhut thandi hai , tabhi tumhari cupboard mein aakar beth gye.. ( there was too cold outside that's why I sat inside your cupboard.)" she said and laughed on her poor joke. Manik was even more shocked , seeing her behaving like this.

He was looking at her suspiciously when she was laughing cutely. He went close to her and immediately he got to know that she was drunk.
"Are you drunk ?" He asked shockingly and unbelievably , moving away from her.

"Ni , meine pi nhi hai. (No , I have not drunk.)" she started singing the song , nodding her head constantly.
"Haanji Menu pila  di gye hai , jo bhi hai sahi hai
Maza aa rahi hai. (Yes, I've been made to drink. Whatever is there, is good , I'm having fun.)" she even started dancing , moving her hands in the cupboard. Few clothes fell down from his cupboard because of her dance. Manik just admiring her because he was finding her super cute. His heart was feeling good, seeing her singing and dancing freely. He was loving the drunk Nandu more.

"Now will you help me in coming out or should I jump outside myself ?" She asked , looking down like she was measuring the height.

"Stop , I am helping you." Manik said , coming toward her when she was about to jump down. It was very easy to come out from the cupboard but she was drunk so he was worried.

"No , stay away and don't touch me." She shouted when he was about to hold her arms. Manik moved away instantly when she shouted.
"I don't need your help. I will come out myself." She said showing her index finger to him. Manik was confused because before she herself was asking for his help and suddenly she stopped him.

"You will fall Nandini. You are drunk." Manik said again coming close to her.

"No , don't touch me." She said , moving backward like she was scaring from his hand.
"Why are you not understanding that I don't want  you to touch me." She shouted when he was about to hold her hand again. Manik felt hurt listening her words.

"You know whenever you touch me , meri body mein aag si lag jati hai aur meri dhadkan tham jati hai. Tum jab mujhe chute ho toh aisa lagta ki jese tum meri ruh ko chu rhai ho. When you touch me , my every part body feels alive. You set my body on fire with your touch.
(You know whenever you touch me , my body burns , my heat stops beating and feel like you are directly touching my soul. When you touch me , my every part body feels alive. You set my body on fire with your touch. )" she told him the real reason that why she was stopping him from touching her. Manik got lost in her words. He was staring her without blinking his eyes. He never knew that he used to do so many things with his touch only.

"Don't you feel good ?" He asked slowly moving his both hand from her hand to her forearm, from her forearm to elbow and reaching on shoulder , he grabbed them and pulled her toward himself. First she looked toward him shockingly and then  she shyly looked down.

"Answer me angel?" He asked again , pulling her chin upward with his thumb and index finger. She was now looking at him innocently. He was taking full advantage of her drunk state to take out all the truth from her that what she used to feel about him.

"Are you my teacher or my father ?" Suddenly she asked this making him confused.
"No , you are not. Only my teacher and my father has right to ask questions from me." She said cutely.  He opened his mouth , making 0 shape.

"Won't you give this right to your husband?" He asked moving his eyebrows upward and waited for her answer.

"Yes , I will give this right to my husband but I am still single. " she answered him smartly after thinking for a moment. Then holding her arm , he helped her in coming out of the cupboard.

"Now , will you tell me that what were you doing in my cupboards in this state?" He asked pointing his hand toward cupboard. She made sad pout.

"I felt so hurt when you ignored me like this. I know first I ignored you. I did wrong but I was having my own reasons. But you did wrong with me without any reason. You are very bad. You hurt me for the first time." She said sadly and turned her face to another side ,  wrapping her hands around her chest to show her anger to him. Manik was happy to know that his ignorance affected her. Which means his plan got successful.

"I was also having reason to ignore you." He said and she immediately looked toward him for  the answer.
"I was ignoring you because I wanted to make you realise that what you feel for me." He said and she opened her mouth, making 0 shape.

"Aare.. Manik tum bilkul bhudhu ho. Yeh sabh karne se phele ek bar mujhe inform toh karna chayie tha na. (Manik , you are fool , you should have informed me before doing this. )"She said and laughed on her senseless talk , clapping her hands. Manik looked at her , making weird faces like he was trying to understand what she said.

"Okay , now keep everything on side. I need to tell you something very.. very important. After listening this , you will start jumping in happiness." She said , getting excited to tell him something. Manik was looking at her cluelessly.

"Then tell me.." he asked getting excited.

"For that you need to close your eyes.. first." When she asked him to close his eyes , instead of closing his eyes , he opened his eyes wider.

"Manik , I asked you to close your eyes not to open your eyes like this." She said , widening her eyes like him. She was looking super cute. Then he closed his eyes. She started praying to god , joining her hand. She was asking god to give her strength to tell him what she wanted to tell him.

"Are you going to kiss me ?" He asked to tease her. She made a angry pout.

"Please stay quiet and let me prepare myself to say this." She said strictly, putting finger on his lips. He nodded his head like a obedient kid , saying 'Okay'. He was having no idea what she was going to tell him and this wait was making him excited.

She stood on her toes and started coming close to his face. Manik could feel her coming close to him. He could listen her heartbeat and feel her hot breath which was touching his face. She held the collar of his shirt to balance herself. She started coming more close to his face , now he could feel her hot breath on his lips which turned him on. He felt like to grab her and kiss her hard. But he controlled his desires , clutching his fist. The moment when his hot breath touched her lips , she got froze and her eyes were staring his lips.

"Are you really going to kiss me ?" He asked unbelievably and brought her back on the earth with his words. She took a deep breath and went close to his ear , blowing the air on his cheeks which made him crazy. She cleared her throat before speaking. She had just opened her mouth to speak and there was knock on the door. She closed her mouth , moving away from him. Manik opened his eyes and found her complaining to god cutely , looking upward. For a moment , he got lost in her cuteness. The door was knocked again , bringing him back on the earth.

"Stay inside until I won't ask you to come out." He took her inside the washroom, holding her hand and asked her to hide there because he didn't want that anybody would see her in drunk state. Nandini was about to say something but before that he went outside, closing the door. Nandini made sad pout , staring the door.

"Bhaiya , Bhabhi se mile ? (Bro , did you meet bhabhi ?)" as soon as Manik opened the door , Cabir asked looking at him , having naughty smile on his face.  Manik was shocked that how he knew about Nandini.

"What do you mean ?" Manik asked immediately.

"Bhaiya , don't be so innocent ? I myself left her inside your room. She was getting so desperate to talk to you and she was drunk. What's going on ?" Cabir asked suspiciously and walked inside. His eyes were finding her in whole room.

"Oh , so you have asked her to hide in my cupboard." Manik came in front of him and asked , wrapping his arms around his chest.

"Cupboard.." saying this he laughed loudly.
"I asked bhabhi to hide somewhere in your room but I didn't know that she would hide in your cupboard."Cabir was laughing holding his stomach. Manik was staring at him angrily because he was pissing him off.
"Well now where is she ?" Cabir asked while his eyes were still finding her.

"Inside the washroom." Manik replied and Cabir smiled , moving his eyes toward the washroom.
"Now will you go ? I have to handle her and please ask no one to disturb me." Manik said , joining his hand in front of him and Cabir looked toward him.

"Okay. Why are you pleading? Pyaar se bologe toh kya nhi jaunga , Mere pyaare bhaiya ?" Cabir said , pulling his cheeks. He was irritating him and wasting his time.
"Okay , Okay. I am going." Cabir said when Manik glared at him . Then he left last time looking at him , having naughty smile on his face. Manik locked the door and took the long breath of relief. Then he immediately went to open the door of washroom.

As soon as he opened the door of washroom. Nandini attacked him with punches on his chest like he was her beating bag.
"You are very bad. You locked me here in this washroom alone. I got so scared." She complained like a kid and beat him more. Manik was trying to stop her by holding her hands.

"Stop.. I am sorry." He shouted while grabbing her both hands.  She stared at him , making angry pout. He smiled , seeing her cuteness.
"You look super cute when you get angry." He said , pulling her cheeks.  She rolled her eyes , wrapping her arms around her chest.

"Well , when you hid in my cupboard yourself, didn't you get scared?" He asked and moved her face toward him , holding her chin. She was still looking at him angrily.

"I am not talking to you." She said , moving away from him.
"Now , I am going." She said and took few steps toward the door of washroom but Manik stopped her , holding her hand.

"Aahaa.." Manik shouted in pain when she bit his hand to make him leave her hand. As soon as , he left her hand , she ran out. Manik ran behind her to stop her from going outside because anybody could see her outside.

"Where is Manik ? Cabir go and call him." Everybody were presented at dining table for dinner except Manik . That's why Neyonika asked Cabir to call Manik when she didn't find him.

"Mom , Manik is not well and he is sleeping. He asked me to tell you all that don't worry about him." Cabir said , making everybody worried .

"Manik bhi na.. kal engagement hai par isse toh aaj bhi recording ke liye jana tha. Aab padh gya bimar. Mein dekh kar ati hoon." Neyonika said worried like a typical mother.

"Mom.." Cabir shouted when Neyonika got up from her chair. Everybody stared at him shockingly.
"Mom , he is sleeping. If you will go , his sleep will be get disturbed . You shouldn't disturb him." Cabir tried his best to stop her.

" Cabir.. I am worried for him. I need to see him now."Neyonika said being a possessive mother. Cabir just nodded his head positively thinking about the consequences if his mother would see her would be daughter in law in drunk state.
