"You broke my heart and all you can say is sorry?" I asked in disbelief.

"Well, what else do you want, Lara?" Tommy asked impatiently.

"Well, I don't know... an explanation?! Come on, Tommy! One day, you told me you loved me, and then an hour later you told me that you had lost your feelings for me weeks ago! Right after I saw you kiss my best friend!" I cried.

"So?"

"So?!" I stopped and took a deep breath. When I spoke again, my voice was calm. "So... Right now, I don't even want to see you, let alone talk to you."

"Come on, Lola. It's not even that big of a deal." He tried to grab my waist but a wave of adrenaline seeped into me and I stepped back and punched him in the face. My fist throbbed but I didn't care. He deserved it.
