PART ONE

Adrien poured out the three fingers of whisky before collapsing on his sofa tumbler in hand. He looked around the lounge of his new apartment, boxes still scattered everywhere. But he was home. He was finally home.

He'd left two years ago to attend a respite. His father had been unveiled as Hawkmoth and he just couldn't cope. His friends had supported him, making sure he got the support and care he needed. He was a mess.

Two years later though, and he is back. Fully discharged and ready to start his new life as the son of the villain of Paris. During his time in respite he had Plagg with him. The comfort of the little kwami helped support him through the harder days and be there to celebrate his successes. Even though the kwami was only an entity, he was Adrien's best friend, barr one. One who promised she'd be there for him when he returned home.

He necked back the whisky in one move. First day back in Paris and it was already shit.

During his time away he noticed the Miraculous team had changed dynamics, no longer was Ladybug patrolling alone or with Rena Rouge, a certain snake hero had been seen more and more often. He felt replaced. Exchanged for a new model. Plagg was there to comfort him, every time he lost his control. This was the reason it had taken two years to come back. He couldn't get over the fact his Lady had moved on.

She said she'd wait, his mind raced with the last memories he had with Marinette. They'd revealed, they were happy, they were in love, but his mental health made him leave.

As the weeks went by and he saw the change in Marinette and Luka's relationship, he began to not call or message as much. He was terrified. Terrified that one day she'd pick up the phone and tell him she no longer wanted him. That he was damaged goods. That he couldn't please her anymore. So he left it, he became a ghost to her. A distant memory. When he'd arrived back that morning, and hoped to all God like creatures she'd be there with open arms, his heartbroke. She wasn't there. She was getting her nails done for her big date that evening. A date that wasn't with him.

Adrien stood up and made his way to the kitchen again, poured anyone three fingers before slumping on a bar stool. Head against the cold granite of his kitchen table, and a heavy pain in his heart.

She'd come to see him a couple of hours ago, freshly manicured, and as beautiful as the day he left. He broke. Everything broke down and he spilled his guts. He told her everything. His love for her, the feelings of betrayal, his hurt for being replaced, the fact he would never be good enough for her, the fear of calling her to find she'd moved on. He laughed at himself as the tears fell. Screwed himself over royally there.

She didn't cry. Nope, Marinette was the strong Ladybug she always was. She didn't even try to console him. Just watched as he broke down. She was probably thinking about how to get him back into therapy, he was a blithering idiot. A broken idiot. She asked about Plagg and whether, as Guardian, there was anything she could do for him.

Plagg remained silent through the whole conversation, obviously knowing the extent of his owner's heartbreak.

She said she'd wait. Yet here he was drinking away his sorrows. He'd been watching the Amber liquid swirl around the tumbler as he turned it. Alcoholism, that could be something new to try. He heard it could take away your pain and your fear, a few of the guys he spent his days with told him that. They found it pathetic that he was only there with depression and anxiety, another reason for taking him longer to stabilise.

As Marinette left she didn't even look back. She didn't even say goodbye, she just stood up and made her way to her fancy night out with her fancy fella. Nino had filled Adrien in, tonight was the night Luka was proposing. He'd lost his chance, all because he was scared. Funny how what he was scared about had hit him squarely between the eyes. By not calling, he'd pushed her into doing the one thing he didn't want to happen.

"I don't know what to do, Plagg. I really want her to be happy but this is killing me. I thought it would be the same when I got home. I was an idiot."

A bang on the balcony pulled Adrien's attention. He turned quickly to see Ladybug. She was standing there in all her red glory, glaring at him. Walking towards the door, he kept his eyes firmly placed on hers. Luscious green meeting delectable blue. Opening the door he was met with the fire of her gaze, tear streaks visible on her cheeks and a frown taking over her face.

"You had no right telling me you still loved me." Her voice was filled with emotion. "You ignored all of my calls for over a year."

Adrien stood staring at the woman in front of him. He opened his mouth to speak, but she continued.

"I missed you so much but thought you'd wanted to get away from me, from anything linked to this - to your father." She stepped into his apartment and made her way to the whisky bottle picking it up.

"I should have visited you. Checked on you. Plagg used to visit often, you know, I never mentioned my relationship with Luka, so don't blame him for not telling you." Adrien still hadn't managed to speak. Plagg is now floating alongside him, looking as gobsmacked as his wielder.

"Spots off." Marinette took a swig from the whisky bottle, taking it with her to the sofa, where she continued by placing herself, not so gracefully on the seat.

"He proposed tonight, you know. It was gorgeous, he'd put so much time and effort in. Gorgeous flowers, a romantic candlelit meal, he was even wearing a suit. Imagine, Luka in a suit. He'd even styled his hair." She laughed, let out a sob and threw back more whisky.

"I like this stuff," she said looking at the bottle, "expensive. Of course, Adrien Agreste doesn't do cheap things."

Adrien grabbed his own glass and made his way to sit next to her on his sofa, unsure what he should say or do. So, of course, he went with his natural reflex of a joke.

"I guess I'll need to buy a fancy hat for the wedding then."

She turned her head and glared at him. Even in her frustrated way she was gorgeous. He would always think she was the most beautiful lady in the world.

"No need to be smart. You know full well I said no."

His heart leaped with a little joy. Could it be because of him?

"Oh." He replied.

Don't over think this Adrien.

"You know what the worst thing is," she took another amount of whisky before Adrien took it out of her hands. This conversation needed to be a sober one. Though from the amount she'd already consumed it was obvious she was on her way to 'drunkville'.

"It was my idea, you know. For you to go to the respite. I thought after everything that happened I could be the one to help you," she choked on a laugh, "I should have been the one to be with you and help you. Not just send you off. You should have moved in with me, I would have looked after you. Me and you against the world."

Adrien took one of her hands in his. She was now sobbing.

"I never stopped to think 'Woah, Adrien's father had been trying to kill him and the love of his life for the past eight years, plus his mother was cryogenically frozen in his basement. He must feel shit and like his world is falling down.'"

"My mother wasn't frozen." Adrien responded.

"Minor details, kitty." She waved him off before continuing on her redemption train. "I never thought about how the relationship with your father would change, I never thought about how our relationship would change, I never truly considered how you'd feel about me having a new 'partner'. I must have really hurt you Adrien. I said I would wait," her tears were flowing thick and fast, "I said I loved you, and what did I do at the first hurdle? I sent you off and ran off with another man."

"Marinette, it's ok. I understand, it was an awkward situation."

"No Adrien! It's not ok. I got with Luka to fill the void left by you. I needed someone to look out for me, to be there at my beck and call. I was being so increasingly selfish because I wanted you, but you weren't here."

"What - what did Luka say?"

Marinette looked down at her perfect nails. She'd had them done for this evening. She wanted to take pictures of her engagement ring with beautiful nails. Nino had tried to talk her out of it, heck her mother had too. Both thinking she'd moved on too fast after everything that had happened. Everyone knew Luka loved her, and they knew she really liked him. But he wasn't Adrien and he wasn't Chat Noir, and unfortunately for Luka he never would be.

Her mother was not happy with her in the slightest. She didn't understand why Marinette had given up on Adrien, and truth be told she only gave up because he hadn't texted her or called her. Thinking back now it was pathetic, she was pathetic. He'd just had his life flipped around then she'd run off into the night with another man in his place beside her, and she wondered why he hadn't called? She was ridiculous.

"He wanted to cancel as soon as he heard you were back. I talked him in to continue with our plans tonight. Nino had let out that Luka was going to propose and I wanted it. I wanted to be engaged, I wanted to be married."

"I'm sorry." Adrien said.

"It just wasn't to him that I wanted it." She sighed and leant forward, forearms on thighs. "I came here this afternoon wanting you to hate me. To give me a reason to be with Luka."

Adrien took a hold of the whisky bottle, drinking a substantial amount himself. Again, the bug and the cat were in a mess. Tikki, who until now was in the kitchen with Plagg, came and sat alongside her master.

"We had many conversations Adrien, ever since you left." Tikki said, stroking down Marinette's hair.

His eyes followed the paw of the kwami, taking in just how long Marinette's hair was now. She'd changed a lot, and as she sat side by side with him dressed to the nines he couldn't help wondering what it would be like to be the person who took her out. To treat her like the Princess she is. Her midnight blue dress was stunning, fitting her perfectly. Tightly wrapped around her body, it was full sleeved, with a low back and a knee length pencil skirt. Beautiful.

"I didn't agree with a lot of what she did." Tikki continued to stroke her master's hair, face contorting in an angry expression. "And when Plagg came to see us, I don't think she understood what he was saying. That you weren't coping with the change of events."

Adrien sighed, allowing the whisky bottle to move from his hands to her own.

"You two need to work on conversation and stop worrying about upsetting the other. We've had this issue for years, it's time for you to understand relationships are not always perfect and even if you two argue, you have done it before and came out the other side fine." Plagg had joined in on the conversation too.

"I'm just scared," Marinette whispered, "scared of loving you. The feeling is so intense, I can't stand the thought of you leaving me."

"I would never leave you! Can't you see ... us trying not to hurt each other is what's hurting each other. Marinette, I love you. I always have and always will. I will be with you forever if you want me to. If you want Luka, as much as it'll kill me I'll support that too. Luka's a great guy."

As if on cue, Adrien's speech was followed by the ringing of Marinette's cell phone.

"It's Luka."

Marinette stood up to answer the call.

"Are you with him?"

"Yes," she responded, looking over at Adrien.

"Mari, I love you.You know I do, and I've been waiting for you since we were fourteen. But I've had my second chance now, it's time for you to give Adrien his first."

"I'm sorry," She said.

"You have nothing to be sorry for. It's always been you and him, I just hoped that maybe it could be me and you."

The tears ran down her face again, and he could hear the sobbing.

"I've hurt you. I can't stand that I've hurt you."

"I am hurt, Mari, but I'll get through this. Don't take it the wrong way if I don't see you for a while." Luka let out a small, heartbroken laugh.

"Bye Luka, thank you for everything."

Marinette hung up the phone and came and sat back next to Adrien. Grabbing the bottle of whisky and downing the last bit.

"We're done." She said sadly. "I shouldn't have used him like that. He deserves better."

Adrien nodded. He understood.

"So, now what?" He asked.

"If you'll still have me, I'd like to give this a try."

"I promise, I'll never hurt you Marinette. You are my life. You have been since we were thirteen." Adrien held her hand and kissed the back of it.

"I promise to communicate more, and not be afraid." She responded.

"I promise to give you whatever you want, and whatever you need. I want to look after you, to take care of you, the way I was made too."

"Kagami always said we were made for each other."

Adrien laughed.

"She wasn't the only one."

Marinette moved forward and placed a kiss gently onto Adrien's lips. Adrien moved his hands onto her lips and pulled her close, feeling the heat of her body against his own.

"Luka always said he wanted to wait until marriage." Marinette whispered in Adrien's ear.

"It's a good job I'm not Luka then." He responded, pulling her onto his lap.

As the yin and yang began to get reacquainted, Tikki and Plagg were joined by another kwami.

"Sass, please thank the guitar boy for helping us out." Plagg said.

"Very risky game you played their Plagg, what if she'd said yes?" Sass replied.

"She wouldn't, not after seeing Adrien today." Tikki chipped in.

"He loved her, he wanted her to have a chance with Adrien. He knew even if she'd said yes, it would have been a three person relationship. They're made for each other."

As the kwami's continued to talk, Adrien and Marinette threw their uncertainties away, wanting to make sure the other knew exactly how much they were loved.

PART TWO - EXPLICIT DETAIL INCLUDED

Adrien began to circle his thumbs on Marinette's hips as she held his head firmly in place and kissed him with enough passion to be pride of place in a Mills and Boon novel. She tilted her head to allow him access to her tongue, gripping and pulling at his hair.

"I love you so much." He broke away and looked at the woman straddling him, her skirt up around her waist.

"I'm so sorry, Adrien." She said before pushing her chest out and kissing him again. "I should have been braver, I shouldn't have done what I did."

Adrien's hands slid down onto her bare ass cheeks and dug his fingers into her warm flesh, rocking her against his increasingly hard on. He could just feel the edge of her thong at his fingertips.

"Thank you for not marrying him." He began to trail kisses down her neck, before heading back to her ear, placing his teeth and his tongue on the loose flesh.

"He would have always been playing second to you." Her voice was beginning to break as she moved her head into a position allowing easy access for Adrien's lips to travel down her neck.

He began to suck and nibble just below her earlobe as she rocked her hips forward again, getting the full extent of his length.

"Did he ever do this to you? Did he make you wet?"

She groaned as Adrien bit down onto her flesh, using his lips to help create a suction. He wanted to mark her, to show the world she was his. The action made her hips buck, and a wave of pleasure hit her as she rolled her thinly covered wetness against the stiff fabric of his jeans.

She moaned out a long, deep 'no', as Adrien continued to leave his marks all over her neck and shoulder. She was in heaven, this beautiful man who she loved was branding her, and the feelings from the combination of their lower bodies was making her dizzy.

Marinette continued to rub herself against him, feeling the coiling in her stomach.

"Adrien, -" a breath released from deep in her chest.

Before another word could escape her lips, she bucked into him one, twice, three times and felt herself tense.

"Did you just?" He took his lips from her neck and looked at her face, her increasingly red face.

"I - um - I'm sorry, I didn't think - I didn't -"

Before she could speak again his lips were on hers, trapping her face to his with a powerful hand behind her head.

In one swift motion he stood up and walked towards his bedroom, keeping her firmly around his hips and her lips against his. The temptation to slam her into the wall and fuck her senseless was being encouraged by the raging hard on who was now the proud owner of every ounce of his blood.

He continued to walk, it was only a couple of feet away and then he could ravish her on his bed. He could give her body the attention it deserved.

Finally at his door, he kicked it open and placed Marinette down on the bed, stroking his hands over her midnight blue dress and running them down her body. He couldn't help but think how beautiful she looked laid out on his bed, hair fanned out on her pillow.

"Adrien."

His name melted on her lips, as she reached up and pulled him down on top of her. Their lips met again in a synchronised dance, licking and flicking each other with ease and lust. Tongue against tongue in a tango for two.

But tonight wasn't about lust, it wasn't about having sex with a gorgeous girl who turned him to putty. No, Adrien wanted it to be about love and the way she was looking at him right now, he was sure she agreed.

Marinette pushed him away slightly before removing both her dress and her panties, happy about the lack of bra under her dress. She moved back on his bed and positioned herself on his pillow. She knew he always slept on the right leaving the left for Plagg.

She watched as he took his tee over his head revealing the body she used to dream about seeing, touching, tasting. He began to undo the zipper on his trousers when she moved forwards and stopped him. Placing her own hands over his and restricting his movements.

"Let me," her voice was like honey, moving his hands away so she could use her own. The zip was loosened and his jeans dropped. She couldn't help licking her lips at the sight in front of her.

"I love you," he said. Her eyes peered up to look at him as she moved her hands around his boxers feeling every inch. She massaged under his thighs moving up from his knees, cupping his ass, and skimming the elastic waistband. She wasn't surprised to see he no longer adorned Gabrielclothing, instead he stood in perfectly fitting Boss boxer shorts.

"I like these, but they'll look better on the floor."

He was still yet to speak. His mind suddenly blank with the intensity of what this woman was doing to him. The touching, the groping, the teasing. He felt like he was thirteen again and just discovering the beauty of women and touching himself to relief. She pulled his boxers from around his hardened length before pushing them down onto the floor.

She was now face-to-face for the first time with a man's cock, with Adrien's cock, and it was empowering. She took one hand to the base and looked up into the glassy green of his eyes. He looked startled, and so gorgeous, she didn't know where to begin.

"I'm not quite sure -" she trailed off, embarrassed that she had no idea how to pleasure the love of her life.

"This is good," he placed one hand over hers and began to move her hand in strokes from the base to the tip and then back again.

"Yeah," she breathed out, continuing to mirror the actions he just displayed.

He threw his head back in a groan as he allowed her to touch him the way no one apart from himself ever had. This was incredible, and he could feel himself building. He held her hand tighter and took it to the tip where the strokes became shallower and slightly faster. He continued guiding her for a few minutes before halting the movement.

"Stop," he said, "I'm going to - I don't want to like that, if that's ok?"

It was Marinette's turn to go silent, nodding at him in understanding as she let go of his cock. It looked red and painful, the vein beneath looking ready to explode. She followed it down and found his tight balls on the verge of explosion. Unconsciously, she reached out to touch him. He caught her hand and pulled it back.

"Don't, please, just don't."

Keeping hold of her hand he pulled her to stand in front of him. His pupils had expanded, losing the green to become black, so very, very black. His hands moved to her cheeks before exploring her body, cupping her breasts and teasing her rock hard nipples. He bent down to kiss one before taking the other deeply into his mouth. Her legs almost buckled as the flat of his tongue brushed over the nub, sending a bolt of ecstasy down between her legs. She let out a deep moan, adding fuel to the already growing fire.

Adrien continued to drag his hands over her body, moving himself down and onto his knees, his blonde hair mixing with the darkness of her curls. She moved her hands into his bright mane and began to stroke it similar to the many times she had on patrol, suddenly gripping onto him as he brushed his tongue over her slick folds.

The action was too much, the whole situation was too much. Her stomach coiled as her pussy clenched, delivering her second orgasm heavily out of her hole. The smile on Adrien's face mirrored the orgasmic glow of her own.

"Come on," she said, climbing up and onto his bed.

"Well it is my turn," his laugh was music to her ears, and she couldn't help joining in with him.

He made a move onto the bed, pushing her down and climbing over her positioning himself in between her legs. Marinette bent her knees, planting her feet on the bed, opening herself up to him. As he lined himself up, she stopped him.

"Do you have a condom?" He shook his head in response. No, he didn't. Damn.

"Tikki, spots on." A flash of pink surrounded the room as she transferred into her alter ego.

"That's hot!" He looked down at his partner looking like a boy about to live out his wildest fantasies.

She unhooked and opened her yoyo pulling out the condom packet before starting to call off the transformation. Stopping her from completing the sentence, Adrien grabbed the back of her head and placed a soaring kiss on her lips, tongues massaging each other and hands fumbling. She was breathless as he pulled away, leaving her with doubts about how she would survive this relationship.

"Sorry," he exclaimed, "I just always wanted to make out with Ladybug."

She burst out laughing and finished the sentence, leaving Marinette naked and wanting.

"I really love you Adrien Chat Noir Agreste."

"Good, because you're stuck with me." He ripped open the condom and placed the thin latex over his still rock hard cock, positioning it at the entrance ready to finally become one with her in the most intimate way.

"Are you sure you want this?" He asked, "don't do it just because you feel sorry for me."

"Adrien," she lifted her hips causing him to slip his erection between her folds, "I am one hundred percent certain that this is what I want, and you are who I want to be with. It has always been you."

She braced his face between her two hands and pulled his lips to meet hers in a fiery kiss of unbridled passion.

"Now what are you waiting for, kitty cat?"

A low rumbling came from his chest as he cupped a hand around her thigh and began to move. They began soft and gentle, caressing each other's bodies as they got reacquainted again for the first time in two years. This was new and powerful, and finally they felt whole.

As Adrien felt himself panting, he knew he was coming close to the end. Taking deep breaths he continued his movements, lifting her leg up higher on his waist. Rocking them slightly sideways he bent one of his own knees against the bed and used the leverage to thrust deeper.

"Oh, God, Adrien - fuck"

"You are so beautiful, Marinette. I love you."

"I love you too."

The final words leaving her lips sent him into a crazy spiral of deep pented desire. This was everything either of them ever wanted, and they knew this was the beginning of a whole new chapter of their lives.

"Fuck, Marinette, you're so tight." He went faster and faster until he heard her breath catch in her throat and her head move off the pillow and into his chest, her walls squeezing around him, releasing her own orgasm as he finally, finally released his own.

He held himself deeply in her as she continued to moan and squeeze against him, rocking her hips in a timely fashion, head buried in his chest, fingers digging in his shoulders.

With a last puff of air, her head flopped backwards onto the pillow, Adrien still inside her. He dropped his head onto her shoulder, and placed lazy kisses on her neck and cheek.

"That's was -"

"Yeah."

He rolled away and discarded the incredibly full condom, it had been quite a while. Placing it in the bin, he returned to the bed ready to cuddle alongside his lady. He opened his arm and she snuggled in. One leg draped over his hips and her hand on his sweat laced chest.

"I'm sorry," he whispered into her hair, "about everything."

"Me too,' she kissed his chest, "me too."
