All in a days work

"I've brought the 'Fu' file for M. Agreste."

Nathalie buzzed Adrien informing him of Marinette's arrival.

"Thank you, Ms. Sancoeur," the timid designer said, entering the office of Adrien Agreste.

Nathalie liked Marinette, she was a hard worker and over the past few months she'd noticed how willing she was to pleasure Adrien with her designs. At least twice a week Marinette would bring the Fu file up to Adrien for a discussion, and they'd spent a good forty minutes going over each of the designs. She'd never been invited into the meetings to take notes, but the increase in sales since Gabriel had retired must mean they were doing something right, so as far as she was concerned they could get on with it.

"Spread it out on the desk." Adrien's voice was heard coming through the intercom, he must have hit it on by mistake. Maybe this time she could take notes, it may come in handy in the future. Pulling out her tablet, she opened her document app and began to type.

"Humm ... what material is that? It feels nice." The ex blondes voice boomed out of the speaker.

"Oh, like that do you? I'll have you know it's top quality satin."

"Well it's very nice, can they stay for now?"

"Of course, but what about this?" Shuffling was heard from the other side of the intercom, a hum sounding from (who she guessed) was Adrien.

"You can move that up if you want? It won't crease if you bunch it up." Marinette stated.

"That's always good to know."

Nathalie wondered what material they were talking about. She looked through the briefings for different collections they could possibly be working on and couldn't put a label on anything. She'd ask Marinette when she came out. It's great to know they found a non crease material, Gabriel would be impressed.

A bang was heard over the intercom and Nathalie winced.

"Sorry, I wasn't expecting that." Marinette said, a wince in her voice.

"It's ok," Adrien responded, "I caught you off guard. Can you hold still while I try it again?"

"Yeah, just move the material more so you have a better view." Nathalie heard the shuffling around again and Marinette took in a deep breath.

"Yup, that's definitely better." She sighed and Nathalie couldn't help but be intrigued by what they're designing. Marinette's happy sighs made her excited to see the finished product.

"God, the satin feels so nice! Do you have this in any more colours?" Adrien asked. Nathalie listened intently. If Marinette can reel off the colours perhaps she could get on and order it for them, take a little off of their plate. They both worked so hard putting in these extra hours.

"Yeah, I've got four at home and two more on order."

"Red?" Adrien asked.

"Yup, it matches the lace."

Lace? Nathalie looked at the stock supplies again, and searched for lace orders, unfortunately none were there. She searched through and saw they were short on rolls. She pulled open the supplier list and ordered three different reds. Hopefully, Marinette would be happy with at least one of them.

"Ok, stop! We need to stop! I want you to put it in."

"You really are working hard for me today," Adrien said. "Reach further up on the table."

"This ok?" Marinette asked.

"Go for the blue and white designs."

"Like this?" Marinette questioned again.

"Perfect M'lady."

Nathalie let out a giggle. She didn't know if it was from their past school friendship, or them working so closely over the past months, but she always had to laugh at Adrien's nicknames for Marinette.

"How about the buttons?" The young woman asked.

"Hum - personally I like them undone."

Nathalie listened as shuffling filled the room again.

"Oh yes! That's it!" Marinette's excited voice echoed out through the intercom, as Adrien's laugh followed.

"It'd be better without this material in the way." He said.

"Move it down a bit and I'm sure you'll like the view."

Nathalie frowned at the speaker. Were they designing dresses? After all, if the material was moving down it must be for a lower place on the design. Imagines of luxurious ball gowns floated in Nathalie's head. Marinette always excelled when it came to her own gala dresses so she was pretty sure the designs were gorgeous. Perhaps she would even get to wear one herself?

"Heels or no heels?" Marinette asked, Adrien groaned. Was it that hard a decision to make? If it was ball gowns then it definitely needed to be heels.

"Heels, we need the extra height or you'd be too low."

"Definitely," Nathalie agreed. They must be thinking about modelling the designs together. That would be sweet.

"Can we get rid of the underwear?" The male asked.

"Yes, just take it off." Marinette sighed.

How tight was the dress if they were so worried about VPL's (visual panty lines). She wasn't against mermaid style dresses or anything tight fitting around that area, but she was quite sure they were out of fashion at the moment. She wondered if Marinette had a want to bring them back in?

"So how did you want it?" Adrien asked.

"Don't treat it delicately, just handle it the way you want to." Marinette replied.

"Hard?"

"Hard or soft? It's wonderful either way."

Nathalie began to wonder what they were going on about as explicit language sounded through the speaker.

"Hit it harder!" Marinette exclaimed, as a loud bang echoed through the walls.

"Beautiful!" Adrien's voice had deepened. He must really like the designs Marinette had created, only intriguing Nathalie more and more. She really wanted to see them.

"Fuck! Just there!" Marinette squealed out. "Push in more."

"Move those off the table," a sound of fluttering passed through the speaker, followed by a whining noise.

"Ditch the skirt and then turn around so I can see."

"How does it look?"

"Incredible."

Nathalie was suddenly taken aback from the noise coming from Adrien's room. She wasn't so sure that they were looking at designs anymore, and the way Adrien was calling Marinette's name she was way more than 'just a friend'.

Unsure what to do with herself, she closed down the tablet, placing it calmly and slowly back into her draw before reaching for the plug and disconnecting the intercom. As the sound suddenly faded away Nathalie stared straight at the door, unfortunately still hearing the pleasured moans coming from the room.

Marinette had been bringing that file up to Adrien for months. The two had been having an affair for months. How had no one noticed? The answer was simple really, they had always been very very close friends, so why would it be suspicious?

Nathalie pulled out her diary and looked back through past entries.

May 12th A.A. reservations with M.D.C

May 19th A.A. gala, collect M.D.C on way

May 22nd A.A. photoshoot with M.D.C

They were with each other pretty much every single day. Why didn't they say anything? It's not that anyone could stop them from having a relationship, they made the rules. They were both high up in the company and had been for years.

The door to Adrien's office finally opened and a dishevelled Marinette walked out, Adrien straightening his tie and following closely behind.

"Great work again, Ms. Dupain-Cheng. If you could make those alterations for me and bring it back by the end of the week that would be very much appreciated."

I bet it would, Nathalie thought.

She watched as Marinette nodded shyly and began to walk to the elevator hugging onto the file in her arms, and back to her own office. Turning her head to Adrien she noticed the love sick grin on his face and couldn't help smiling. He was besotted.

"Good meeting?" She asked her charge.

He coughed as he turned to face her, she could tell it was an effort for him to look away from 'his Lady'.

"Yeah the best, we're making a lot of progress."

"Fantastic. You're one o'clock will be here in fifteen minutes which should give you plenty of time to wash the lipstick off your neck."

Adrien's eyes widened as a hand shot up to his neck. "Busted," he said shyly.

"Yes you are, so when are you proposing to the girl?"

A smirk spread across Adrien's neck, and Nathalie couldn't help but mirror it.
