Kim's P.O.V:

I walked into my father's room after knocking on the door.

"Dad...You should take care of yourself more...It won't do if you collapse" I said.

He looked up at me.

"Worrying about the business and trying to find Porsche won't do you any good so...Just eat and take your medicines ok? You need to rest too" I said.

Tankul walked into the room and closed the door behind him.

"Why do you care? The three of you said that you don't care about me as a father" Our father said as he looked at the wall in front of him.

I sighed heavily and pulled a chair then sat down in front of him.

"Dad...Why did you do it in the first place? Why did you cover for uncle Kan?" I asked.

Our father smiled sullenly.

"I don't know" He said.

I nodded to myself.

"I don't think I'll ever understand your reasoning but you know you shouldn't have done that...Look what happened now dad" I said.

He stayed silent as he looked at us.

"But you know what? We're still a family...We can't leave you like that" I said.

He looked up at me then at Tankul so me and Tankul looked at each other and smiled before looking back at him.

"We know that you did all this because you wanted to build something for us...But it wasn't our right to have this fortune in the first place...And we don't know how to start everything from scratch but if that ever happens...Why don't we do it on a clean slate?" Tankul asked smiling.

He pursed his lips into a thin line.

"I'm sure Kinn would have said something similar if he was here now" Tankul said.

I smiled and nodded in agreement.

"But I was also responsible for this since I was a witness who stayed silent without taking action" Our father said.

"There's always a way out dad...But how about we try finding a good enough lawyer as a start?" I asked.

He looked at us both then smiled.

Tankul gave him a hug as I patted my father's shoulder.

"We were wrong before when we said that we didn't care about you...But it's just the way you mistreated Vegas and Macau that always made us wary of you that's all" Tankul said.

Our father stayed silent but nodded.

"We were all wrong but it's not too late to start over...We'll get you out of this dad...Don't worry" I said.

"And once you're out we'll go back to being a family you and the three of us and Vegas and Macau too" Tankul said.

"Yeah...That would be great...I really owe them an apology" Our father said.

We stayed in his room until he was done eating so we gave him his medication before he went to sleep.

I pulled the blanket over him as soon as I was sure that he fell asleep and Tankul walked over to the window and closed it to prevent the cold window from coming in.

(Meanwhile)

Kinn's P.O.V:

The thing about our business going down and the land fire was all over the news.

It's been almost a week since me and Porsche decided to escape.

We were currently staying at Tae's summer house in Phuket.

It was almost time for dinner so I decided to take a shower before asking Tae if he can bring us some food.

But when I walked out of the bathroom I couldn't find Porsche in the house.

I went to check the balcony and saw him sitting there admiring the rain.

"It's raining" He said as he put his hand out to feel the rain.

I pulled a chair and sat down in front of him.

"You know...I'm worried about Porchay...He's still there by himself" He said.

Then turned to look at me.

"Do you think we can go back?" He asked.

I stayed silent as I tried to think of an answer.

"I don't know...Things got out of hand you know...The burning accident is still under investigation" I said.

He smiled sullenly.

"It's funny how much I wanted to get my land back and when it was finally within an arm's reach I lost it again" He said.

Then took out a cigarette and lit it.

"You know what though? I don't feel sad one bit...I actually feel kind of relieved" He said.

Then took a breath from the cigarette and let it out before handing it to me.

"I don't think it'd have felt right if I suddenly got all that money" He said chuckling.

I took the cigarette he offered me then took a breath and let it out before chuckling.

"You dislike being rich? That's a first" I said chuckling.

He chuckled and leaned his head back to his seat.

"When you're born and raised on something it becomes difficult to get rid of it easily...That's what people call origins you know...I was born to work and earn enough money for a day then earn more for the next day and so my life goes on...So naturally I'd be scared of suddenly having a lot of money" He said.

Then raised a finger to my face and smiled.

"Unlike you little prince" He said.

I smiled and looked at the sky then took a breath from the cigarette.

"And here I thought you said that you won the lottery" I said.

"Hmmm...I did...But it's in the bank along with most of my earnings from working at your company" He said.

I nodded and handed the cigarette back to him.

He grabbed it and took a breath before stumping it.

Then he stood up and put his hands in his pockets.

"I was never used to running away either...Especially when I'm sure I did nothing wrong so..." He started.

I smiled and shook my head.

"That's so you" I said.

Then stood up as well.

"Fine...Let's go back" I said.

He smiled and nodded then we went back inside.

There was a knock on the door then Tae and Time walked in.

"Are we interrupting something?" Time asked.

I shook my head.

Then he and Tae put the food they brought on the table.

"Is there any news about my father and brothers?" I asked Time.

"Yes...Your brothers are fine although Vegas went off the radar without a trace...Your father is alright too but he misses you" Time said.

I nodded.

"No one knows what will happen now though...After the share holders at the Theerapanyakul enterprise decided to withdraw the company's assets and name has been going down...This scandal is a big problem for sure" Tae said as soon as he sat down next to me.

Time sighed and sat down.

"I guess it's understandable though...After all it's logical for them to withdraw after what happened" Time said.

I nodded in agreement.

"What the hell? No it's not...Your family has been working on this business for years doesn't that count as anything?" Porsche asked frowning.

"It doesn't mean anything actually...This is the worst thing about the world of business...The Theerapanyakul family was on top of the pyramid in their field...Every other company and hotel and restaurant looked at them with respect and envy...So it's no surprise that they'll immediately tear it apart now that it's down" Time explained.

"That's really horrible" Porsche said sullenly.

"It's the truth no matter how much we try to deny it though don't you think? After all your family experience it too" Tae said as he looked at Porsche.

Porsche pursed his lips into a thin line and nodded.

"That's the more reason for you to go back home though...Not just because of the company and your father but because you still have to clear Porsche's name from this" Time said.

"Yeah...We were just thinking about doing that" I said.

Tae nodded.

"Alright then...How about this...You two eat and stay the night here then go back on the first train tomorrow?" Tae asked.

"Yes...That would be great thank you" Porsche said.

"No need to thank me you're Kinn's boyfriend so naturally we're also friends too and I always help my friends" Tae said smiling.

Then stood up.

"But if you murder someone and look for me then I don't know you ok?" Tae said as he raised a finger to our faces in threat.

The four of us shared a laugh at this last statement then started eating.

We watched the news for a bit after that then they left so me and Porsche decided to go to sleep.

The next day will be a difficult one for sure.

(The next day)

Porchay's P.O.V:

I woke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing so I went to open it.

P'Kim and P'Tankul walked in as soon as I opened the door.

"We brought you some food" P'Kim said.

"Is there any news about my brother?" I asked.

"He and Kinn said that'll come on today's train...But I think you'll have to stay here for the time being as a safety precaution" P'Kim said.

I nodded.

"Thank you P'Kim" I said smiling sullenly.

He nodded.

"Here...Go ahead and eat" He said.

Then turned to leave.

"Aren't you supposed to stay for a bit longer? This is your private apartment after all" I said.

"No need...Just eat and if you need anything else you can tell me" He said.

Then he and P'Tankul left.

Kim's P.O.V:

I walked out of the apartment with Tankul following behind me and made my way back to the car.

"What the hell was that behaviour? He clearly likes you I could see it from mars" Tankul said.

I stopped walking but didn't turn to him.

"It's not a matter of love here...It's logic...He's young and naive just a highschool kid...And I on the other hand...I'm a working person and a parent too...It's not a logical thing for us to waste time on this when we clearly know the result" I said.

"And what exactly is that result mr smartass?" Tankul asked.

"If we ever got together then I'll be ruining his chances of trying to be with someone his age and more suitable for him as I said he's a naive highschool kid...One day this kid will stop being a kid and will eventually have regrets about not being able to try new things" I said.

Tankul stayed silent so I knew he was thinking about what I just said.

"Let's go back home" I said.

Then we got in the car and drove away from my apartment.
